“No, he does not. He never told me.” Hani sadly pouted.
Tae-Hoon sighed and took her face in his hands and lifted it so she could see his face clearly. “Look at me, I am Tae-Hoon and I am telling you that I like you.” although confessing to someone drunk was not a great thing but he needed to do so now.
She squinted her eyes while scrunching her nose. “Really?” she asked as he nodded his head in a reply. “Do you really love me?” her child-like demeanor vanished as she looked at him with a serious gaze. “Yes, I love you. I don’t only love you but I love our child and be a girl or a boy it would not make any difference as long as it is...” before Tae-Hoon could complete his confession speech Hani shut him up with a kiss.
He widened his eyes in shock and his pupils dilated as his eyes soften looking at her blurred face that close. In response he closed his eyes, kissing her back.
She pulled away from the kiss placing her head on his shoulder. "I love you too." she smiled closing her eyes, taking a deep breath in along with his scent.
Suddenly, he felt her whole-body weight on him realizing she had fallen asleep. He slightly laughed shaking his head.
“You cute thing.” he said tucking her into the bed and moved towards the bathroom to get refreshed.
After coming out he looked at his bed and then her bed. Biting his lips, he wondered if it was fine with her to sleep in the same bed but thinking that they have already slept in the same bed many times he went near her.
He got into the bed beside her and kissed her cheek. “Good night cutie.” he laughed at his own words and went to sleep, taking her into his embrace.
…
“Oh, auntie is calling me.” Se-Young said trying to rush away from Dong-Hoon but before she could do so Dong-Hoon grabbed her wrist. “I am confused.” he said still not processing what was happening right now.
Se-Young gulped looking anywhere but at him. “uhh... I... don’t know.” she tried to take her wrist out of his hand but was unsuccessful. She huffed, biting her lower lip. “Were you perhaps...” before Dong-Hoon could complete his sentence she started to laugh awkwardly.
“I... knew you were not going on a blind date... I decided to prank you as well.” she stopped laughing looking at the 'so done' expression on Dong-Hoon’s face and cursed herself for blabbering such an idiotic excuse for her actions.
“Are not you too much?” he gulped leaving her wrist, his face clearly showed how hurt he was and now she was just awkwardly standing in front of him rubbing her palms in nervousness.
He stepped back, placing his hand on the door and slightly pushed the door to close it but Se-Young placed her hand on the door as well to stop it from closing.
Dong-Hoon raised his eyebrows, looking at her with questioning eyes. “I... am sorry.” she said looking down on the floor. “I don’t need your sorrys, just go away.” Dong-Hoon turned away leaving the door open since she was not removing her hand.
Se-Young hurriedly walked in, grabbing his hand from behind but Dong-Hoon jerked his hand away, making her flinch. He gulped as she looked scared because of his actions but shrugging the thought off, he moved towards her. “Are you serious? Do you know what can happen if an adult woman goes to an adult man’s room alone at night?” she was nervously taking steps backward while he was taking his steps towards her.
His eyes landed on the door again which was open and stretched his hand to close it and pushed her against it. Se-Young was trying her best to not look into his eyes and he rolled his eyes looking at her.
His left hand was on the door while he placed his right hand under her chin, lifting it to meet their eyes. He was gazing into her eyes seriously, making her knees go weak. “Tell me, why would you joke around with me about having feelings for me? It hurts. I am always smiling does not mean...” Se-Young was listening to him, feeling more and more guilty with every word.
“STOP.” she slightly shouted making Dong-Hoon shut up before he could start the battalion of his words like always. Fidgeting her fingers, Se-Young said, “I am not joking around with your feelings, I... really like you.” she gulped as Dong-Hoon was just looking at her, not saying anything anymore.
Finally, he opened his mouth. “I don’t know what to feel, are you for real or just joking again.” he was really serious and it made her heart sank in the pit of the ocean.
He sighed pulling his hand away from the door. “Do you have anything else to say?” he asked with a blank expression as if saying stop your drama and leave my room.
Tears were ready to fall off her eyes. ‘I knew it love will end up like this, why I had to get myself into it.’ her thoughts were of regret. “Wow, now you are crying. Does it feel really nice to make me feel like sh*t.” he asked sarcastically.
Shaking her head, Se-Young closed her eyes, making her tears roll down through her cheeks, her chest tightened as the feeling of heaviness struck her.
Holding her breath, she said, “I want to leave.” hearing her words, Dong-Hoon took two steps away from her. “Go, I will not grab onto you anymore and neither on these feelings.” he tried to sound as rude as possible but in reality, he was just preventing himself to stop her and take her into his embrace as she was crying.
But this time Se-Young did not budge from her place, taking a deep breath in, she clenched her fist, she also took two steps towards him landing her small fists on his chest.
