Se-Young kept hitting Ding-Hoon while saying, “You said you will be there till the end, I knew it, I knew it, this love does not last. I said sorry, what else do you want to hear?” she kept blabbering whatever came to her mind while hitting his chest and sniveling like a two-years-old.
Her voice was telling Dong-Hoon that her breathing pattern was getting distorted and he knew that meant danger. He hastily grabbed her wrists, stopping her from hitting him anymore.
Crashing his lips on hers he stopped her from speaking further, leaving her wrist afterward. The movement of his lips was urgent, shouting insecurity.
She tried to push herself away from the rough kiss but Dong-Hoon was quick to wrap his right arm around her waist as he placed his left hand behind the head to stop her head from moving away.
She gradually stopped struggling, kissing him back, wrapping her arms around his neck as she felt her knees will give up soon. The emotions were different from ever that she had felt, what Dong-Hoon made her felt was something different and she knew that no other man would be capable to wrap herself around him like that.
While panting, both of them pulled away from the kiss. “I am asking this question for the second time and maybe for the last time.” she frowned her eyebrows at Dong-Hoon's words.
He sighed. “Why did you kiss me back?” she remembered last time he asked the same question but the difference was that at that time he had a playful smug look on his face while right now, he was holding a serious gaze.
Biting her lower lip, she let out a deep breath. “Because I like you, no... because I love you.” she said looking into his eyes.
Dong-Hoon’s whole mood changed in just a second. Clearing his throat, he said, “Well, I feel the same then.” he was being nonchalant and pouting, acting like a sulking child while his inner self was screaming with happiness.
Stretching her left hand forward and pinching his shirt with her index finger and thumb, Se-Young pulled it slightly. “Say it back.” she said protruding her lips nervously.
Dong-Hoon smiled at her cute gesture and slightly laughed while teasing her. “Say what?”
“Say it back.” she said again looking at him.
“What?” he teased her even though he understood what she was saying. “Never mind.” She pulled her hand back from his shirt, rolling her eyes.
“I love you too.” he smiled as Se-Young set her bangs shyly and went for a hug, wrapping his arms around her. The personable couple shared their sweet moment for about two minutes.
As if suddenly, something had hit Dong-Hoon's head, he pulled away. “But... why were you playing drunk? did you hear us in the kitchen? and did the pill not work?” he was again started with his habit of inquisition.
Se-Young awkwardly laughed, scratching her head.
…
“You are a drama queen.” Dong-Hoon scoffed as Se-Young finished telling him everything. “You’re no less than me.” she glared at him. “Me? What did I do?” he was offended. “You wanted to get me drugged. What was going on in your head?” she asked squinting her eyes at him.
Raising his eyebrows he said, “You listened to the whole conversation, when did I agree to this?” he was really provoked.
“You did not agree but you did not refuse as well.” Se-Young retorted. “I did refuse.” he started to justify himself. “No, you did not.” Se-Young stayed firm to her words even though she knew he refused with Tae-Hoon’s plan.
“I really did.” he again said and since Se-Young was sitting on his bed and he was on the chair, she leaned behind and took a pillow. "You did not." she stood up and hit him with the pillow, Dong-Hoon looked at her bewildered as her actions did not make any sense at all and she got more embarrassed and hit him one more time, then again and again.
He was preventing the pillow to hit his face with his hands and stood up from the chair, trying to stop her by garbing the pillow but she still did not stop and kept wriggling the pillow even though he was holding it from the other side.
Sighing in defeat, Dong-Hoon left the pillow and Se-Young lost her balance and fell backward on the bed and in the reflex, she left the pillow and grabbed Dong-Hoon’s shirt, making him fall on top of her.
They were too close, able to feel each other's heartbeat.
Se-Young gulped as Dong-Hoon’s eyes traveled from her eyes to her lips and he gulped feeling many unspeakable things.
Dong-Hoon stood up in a jerk, rubbing his hands against his pants in nervousness. “I... I think, you should go.” he said as his heartbeat was rising with every second after what just happened now and feeling like a red tomato, Se-Young stood up and rushed out after fixing her dress as Dong-Hoon let out a breath of relief.
…
In the early morning when birds were chirping, Sunlight entered through the big glass window which the couple had forgotten to cover with the curtains last night.
Tae-Hoon squirmed squinting his eyes due to the light rays of sunlight hitting his face and opened his eyes with an irritated look on his face as he huffed, but his irritated look instantly changed, getting replaced with a joyous one with a big boxy smile he had, looking at his wife and recalling the events of the last night.
He felt the urge to kiss her but waited for her to wake up.
Same as Tae-Hoon, Hani woke up being irritated by sunlight and not to forget the headache she had but unlike him, she got shocked looking at him staring at her lovingly.
Tae-Hoon chuckled at her baffled state. “Morning wifie.” he said, making her lose all her senses, and with crimson red cheeks, she looked into his eyes which were half-closed as he was smiling at her and her heart skipped a beat at the proximity.
