“But you cannot escape from me. If something belongs to me then it shall remain mine forever.” he warned her. “I... belong to you.” Yoo-Na smiled, biting her lower lip. “I never knew you can make me flustered multiple times with your words and action.” both of them chuckled.
“So, boyfriend. How should we celebrate our first day?” she winked, getting back to her flirty self.
He shook his head, slightly laughing at her. “In our respective houses.” he teased her and Yoo-Na pouted. “Of course, there is supposed to be drought after the greenery.”
“Let’s go on a date this Sunday.” he suggested and she instantly smiled nodding her head.
...
Jung-Nan came running to the trio. “Now we can go back.” she said showing them the picture of Ji-Hoon and Yoo-Na kissing wildly.
Min-Hoon sighed at the childish act of his wife and Se-Young looked at the picture being shocked while Dong-Hoon had an amused expression on his face. “Well, at least someone is willing to accept their feelings.” he looked at Se-Young from the corner of his eyes.
She just gulped hanging her head low.
Clearing his throat Min-Hoon said, “Let’s go back.”
…
Four of them were in the lounge when Tae-Hoon and Hani came back with smiley faces.
They actually had not informed anyone about the baby’s gender test. “Did everything go well?” Tae-Hoon asked and Dong-Hoon nodded.
“Good.” he looked here and there and did not find Ji-Hoon. Jung-Nan understood and said, “Ji-Hoon is on his way back home.”
“Oh.” Tae-Hoon nodded his head. “Mom, Dad, Big bro, Se-Young, we have something to tell you.” now everyone was looking at them wondering what Tae-Hoon had in his naughty mind.
He looked at Hani as she nodded her head and gave him the reports. He then handed the reports to his father.
Min-Hoon frowned his eyebrows looking at the papers and started to read them along with Jung-Nan since she was standing right beside him. The old couple looked at each other widening their eyes. “This...” Min-Hoon gulped his words down not being able to process anything. “Hani, you had the gender test?” Jung-Nan asked, fazed.
Widening his eyes, Dong-Hoon took the reports from his father's hands and Se-Young too peaked at the reports.
Hani nodded her head slightly and Jung-Nan went and hugged her carefully because of her baby bump. “I am so happy for you and so grateful that I can’t express in words.” Jung-Nan could not help but cry. Min-Hoon too wiped his tears from the corner of his eyes before anyone could see but Tae-Hoon saw him.
“Come here.” he said and Tae-Hoon went to him, making Tae-Hoon widened his eyes with shock, he hugged him tightly. “I am forgiving all your mistakes. You have made me the happiest in my life. I just can’t wait to see your daughter playing around here in this house. You gave us a daughter, I am not angry at you anymore, you just need to be the best father out there.” Tae-Hoon felt the lump in his throat at his father's words as they pulled back from the hug.
Maybe it was the point Jung-Nan and Min-Hoon got the true realization and happiness of becoming grandfather and grandmother-to-be.
Dong-Hoon sniffed looking at the scene in front of him and Se-Young turned her head looking at him and found him half smiling and half crying. She smiled knowing his soft side but that just made her wonder if she was doing the correct thing to neglect both his and her own feelings.
Hani understood what Tae-Hoon was talking about in the hospital. the news of having a baby girl in the house was really something for them. Everyone was happy, either crying and sniffing or smiling but Se-Young was looking at Tae-Hoon with mixed emotions.
Tae-Hoon was somewhat relieved that Ji-Hoon was not present at this moment. He and Hani were the only two unaware of Ji-Hoon and Yoo-Na’s relation so, he was still conscious about not hurting Ji-Hoon’s feelings.
Soon, Ji-Hoon came as well to join the celebration.
Tae-Hoon grabbed Dong-Hoon’s hand, dragging him inside the kitchen.
…
“What is it?” Dong-Hoon asked.
“I have something for you.” Tae-Hoon said and Dong-Hoon frowned his eyebrows not remembering wanting anything, not particularly from Tae-Hoon.
Tae-Hoon got something out of his pants’ pocket. “What is it?” Dong-Hoon asked suspiciously. “This is a Pill of truth.” Dong-Hoon widened his eyes.
“And why do you have this?” he whisper-yelled scolding the younger one. “Relax bro, it can make one lose control of their mouth and Se-Young is so stubborn. Even after knowing that you will be going on a blind date, she still had not said anything to you. This is the thing exactly made for her. And I know you are a gentleman and will not take advantage of her.” he wriggled his eyebrows receiving a smack from Dong-Hoon in return.
“Ah, bro~~~~.” Tae-Hoon whined while rubbing his forehead. “I am trying to help you and you are hitting me. Don’t come to me crying after she moves out the day after tomorrow.” Dong-Hoon was about to hit him on the head again but Tae-Hoon slipped out of the way and ran to grab the glasses.
“What are you doing now?” Dong-Hoon asked with a troubled expression as Tae-Hoon placed three glasses onto the kitchen counter in an upright position.
“Just wait and watch.” he said going towards the refrigerator and taking out the orange juice. He filled all three glasses and Dong-Hoon widened his eyes as soon as Tae-Hoon put the pill inside one of the glasses.
“It’s not a high dose, so you don’t need to worry.” Tae-Hoon winked. Dong-Hoon pressed his lips together, puffing his bread cheeks. “I am not doing this.” he refused even though the material was completely ready in front of him.
He grabbed the glass and was about to flip it upside down in the sink but Tae-Hoon held the glass as well.
