“You might not understand it now but I am sure after looking at mom and dad’s reaction you will understand that what does having a daughter means to our family.” he caressed her hair lovingly.
“I am so, so, so thankful to you and I am so, so, so proud of you. I promise that I will not let you regret the decision of keeping this child, ever. I will cherish you and our daughter. I will try to be the best father and a better husband for you as well. Just... just stay happy like this always.” he smiled even though his eyes were teary.
He pulled away from the hug placing a peck on her forehead and chuckled, finding her sniveling like a child.
Placing his hands on her cheeks he wiped her tears with his thumbs. “You are not allowed to cry from now on.” hearing that Hani cried even more.
He chuckled and hugged her once again.

Yoo-Na and Ji-Hoon were now walking in the park near the court for five minutes. Yoo-Na stopped her legs when no one was near them and Ji-Hoon turned towards her raising his eyebrows. “Just, first listen to me then you can say whatever you want.” Yoo-Na said pursing her lips afterward.
Ji-Hoon nodded giving her a cue to continue. “First of all, I like you a lot, A LOT. But... I don’t want to force myself onto you anymore.” Ji-Hoon frowned his eyebrows but kept his quiet since Yoo-Na asked to do so. “This past month you have helped me and my parents a lot with our company. If it was not for you then we might not have even known about this scam.” she was now fidgeting her fingers, feeling nervous as hell.
“And I feel very grateful towards you. So, I have decided that even though I like you a lot, I will let the thought of having you as mine go. I will not flirt with you and maintain my distance from you or if you agree we can stay as friends. Although that would be very difficult for me but still, I will try my best to move on...” Ji-Hoon was looking at her with an amused expression. He rubbed his lower lip with his thumb, wanting to laugh out loud and Yoo-Na stopped her blabbering as her eyes traveled to his lips at his gesture. She swallowed, internally cursing herself and Ji-Hoon chuckled looking at her.
“Miss Yoo-Na, you seem to already back off from your words.” he slightly leaned his head towards her and she gulped wandering her eyes anywhere but at his face. “I... I promise that....” before she could continue Ji-Hoon pinched her lips in between his index finger and thumb. Yoo-Na blinked rapidly looking at him, bewildered.
“You should not promise about something which is not meant to be.” he left her lips and Yoo-Na was looking at a new side of Shim Ji-Hoon right now. She never felt this intimidated by him, not even when he would be all serious during meetings.
Her heart was fluttering, breaking all her promises even before making them. “I get this that you want to respect my feelings because you feel grateful, but do you even know how I feel?” Ji-Hoon asked arching his eyebrow.
“What... do you mean?” Yoo-Na asked pursing her lips.
Ji-Hoon exhaled a deep manly breath sending flutters to Yoo-Na’s whole body. “At first, I thought that a person can only be happy if their life partner will be compatible and have similar personalities but you are making me believe in opposite attracts.”
Yoo-Na inhaled a sharp breath in, not believing her ears and her mouth was left ajar due to shock. Ji-Hoon yet let out another manly chuckled sending goosebumps to her and he looked at her lips. “I suppose I was not your first but you were my first. My first kiss, the gift you gave me on our first date.” he reminded her as she bit her lower lip, her heart thumped with aggression inside her chest. The tension was increasing in the air.
He gulped and asked nervously, “Can I give you the same gift as well?” Yoo-Na widened her eyes hearing his words, she was screaming inside. The Shim Ji-Hoon was asking if he could kiss her.
She felt like she was inside a steam shower, not getting an answer but just shocked expressions Ji-Hoon said, “I will take your silence as a yes.” and he wrapped his hands around her waist and pulled her towards him, getting her out to reality.
Their eyes were locked as if talking to each other. Finally, Ji-Hoon leaned in attaching their lips and Yoo-Na did not even waste even a second to respond, pouring all her feelings.
Since Ji-Hoon was a newcomer she became the lead, guiding his lips against hers.
He pulled her closer than she already was making his grip tighter, not even leaving the space for air to pass in between them.
Yoo-Na put her hands around his neck, deepening the kiss, she felt as if her dreams were coming true with just that one kiss and felt her knees going weak with every passing second.
If someone was looking at them, the kiss might look steamy but the feeling both of them were having towards each other was more than that. They felt like they were diving, deep into the ocean named as emotions. They knew that they wanted each other, every single fiber of them.
Breathing heavily Yoo-Na was the first one to pull away and Ji-Hoon smiled touching their foreheads together. “Park Yoo-Na, will you be my girlfriend?” she smiled back nodding her head, their foreheads still in contact.
“Yes, yes, yes, I will be your girlfriend.” she pulled her forehead away just to give him a quick peck on his lips. She was thanking her inner self for not giving in when he asked for the first time to date him, the moment would not have been this special.
