“Don’t worry, we will create new memories together.” she could not help but laugh at her brother's enthusiasm. “Don’t forget that you have an audition in about two weeks. You might become a celebrity within a year or two or maybe earlier than that, then you will not have time for me.” she ruffled his hair.
“I will always make time for you. I don’t think of you only as my elder sister but I have given the place of a mother to you in my heart. You are the most precious person to me right now, even more than dad.” he said smiling at her.
Se-Young blinked her eyes rapidly to prevent the welled-up eyes to shed tears. Feeling a lump in her throat she said, “Are you trying to make me cry?” she slightly hit him on the head with her fist and then turned her gaze away, increasing her pace.
Se-Won chuckled matching his pace with her and grabbed onto her hand, getting clingy. “You are too tall. Leave my arm.” Se-Young laughed at his silliness.
…
The next few days Se-Young completely avoided Dong-Hoon, just the thought of him meeting another woman for the purpose of getting married was making her furious.
On the other hand, Jung-Nan’s sad expressions were making her more and more guilty.
Since Jung-Nan had thought Se-Young would react if Dong-Hoon was set on a blind date but Se-Young was indifferent to it in front of anyone.
She was honestly losing hope that Se-Young will ever accept Dong-Hoon’s feelings.

~The day of the next trial ~
Kang-Joon had tried his best to get out of the situation but against Shim Ji-Hoon, his tactics were nothing.
He and his father were scented to jail for five years plus they were fined a large amount of money. They were even charged to compensate the companies they have mugged.
Ji-Hoon smirked as the police were forcing both father and son into the cop car.
“Shim Ji-Hoon, I can’t describe how big of a thing this is for me. I will never forget such a big favor in my entire life.” Choi Sung-Guk said grabbing Ji-Hoon’s hands in his as a gesture of gratitude.
“Ah, I have done nothing. Instead, I am thankful to you that you came forward to help us in this matter.” Ji-Hoon smiled showing his dimples.
“Mr. Shim, you are a very lucky man, and Mr. Park, you as well.” Choi Sung-Guk said and left from there after greeting all of them.
Park Yoo-Chun cleared his throat to gain everyone’s attention. “Ji-Hoon and Yoo-Na you as well, I am extremely proud of both of you. Especially you Ji-Hoon, and I can’t be more grateful.” he was ready to say that ‘I am ready to give my daughter’s hand into yours’. but stopped remembering what Yoo-Na had said in the past.
‘There is no fun in arranging things like that via parents.’ so, he stopped himself before Yoo-Na would burst. “Best... best of luck for your future, both of you.” he gave his blessing as Yoo-Na was looking at him with squinted eyes.
“Mr. Shim, you guys should visit us for dinner sometime. We can’t repay Ji-Hoon’s kindness but we can have a homemade meal together.” Yoo-Chun suggested, but it was Ji-Hoon instead of Min-Hoon who replied. “I will make sure to bring all the family members.”
And Yoo-Chun laughed nodding his head. “Why not, why not.” while Yoo-Na just gave a bewildered look to Ji-Hoon. “I think we should get going now.” Yoo-Jin chimed in as his legs were hurting from standing too much and Hae-Mi glared at him as he pouted.
“Ji-Hoon, can I talk to you for a bit.” Yoo-Na asked in a whisper but Jung-Nan’s ears perked up. Ji-Hoon nodded. “Mom, Dad, you guys can leave. I will come back in an hour.” he excused himself from the crowd.
…
“Hani, I am really glad that your health is getting better with every checkup.” the doctor smiled at her as she was done with going through her reports.
“And the baby is perfectly healthy as well.” Hani looked at Tae-Hoon who was sitting beside her. She smiled at him and he gave her a warm smile back.
“You might have to wait a bit, the laboratorian will send the test’s report here in a minute.” Tae-Hoon gulped feeling nervous, he knew that no matter what, girl or boy, he had to prove himself as the best father but still, somewhere in his heart he really wanted it to be a girl.
The report arrived and the doctor was now examining it. She put the report back on the table. “First, congratulations. Your baby does not have any kind of genetic disorder.” It was like the drum roll moment for both of them.
“and congratulations again, it’s a girl.” both of them broke into a big smile. Tae-Hoon just could not believe that Shim household was going to have a little girl roaming around in the house. Daughter of Shims, more precisely, his daughter.
He felt like crying. Never in his life, he had thought about getting married, and right now he was in a gynecologist's office with his wife being ecstatic about his baby, his daughter.
...
Tae-Hoon and Hani came out of the gynecologist's office.
Tae-Hoon saw the smile on Hani’s face was not leaving even for a bit. “Hani.” he called her as she stopped going ahead.
She hummed looking at him. “I... I...” he could not utter what he wanted to say as she was staring at him with wonder in her eyes so he just went for a hug, careful of her baby bump, making her widened her eyes as her heart fluttered.
“I just want to thank you for not giving up on this baby, our baby, our daughter.” Hani was shocked at first but her heart softened hearing his words. She never expected to hear those words, not this early.
