When I was born, my mother hid me a way. She used to call me an abomination because there are only supposed to be three beings on this earthly plane; humans, vampires, and werewolves. Yet, I am none of these. You see my mother, an old vampire, purest of them all and one of the first, fell in love with a young werewolf, my father. Their love was forbidden on all sides of the spectrum, so they made me in complete secret. My father raised me, since he wasn't as important to his pack, as mother was to her hive. Mother would come visit me on special occasions, but wouldn't stay very long. She made us stay in darkness to keep me safe and even though I lived in complete darkness, father cared for me as much as he could. He would take me out in the dead of night to hunt. Father raised me to be a warrior which is why he named me Athena. My father used to tell me ancient prophecies of a hybrid that would grow bigger than any werewolf and stronger than any vampire. Also, this hybrid would lead both into the light. Now 18 years later, I believed I was the one to fulfill that prophecy.
