Tang wulin shook his head and rejected the idea. "No matter what my background is, I individually, am unworthy of this privilege. I am don't have the strength to stand by you. And I don't want you to treat me like some highness, just because of my father's identity". He himself knew, there was no honor in having privilege that is not earned by one's own ability. No matter how proud he was about his father, he felt he is not worthy to call himself the son of Tang San if he didn't earn that respect from others own his own.
Amorous doulou was able to understand Tang Wulin's thoughts and smiled. He understood that despite Tang Wulin's serious and authorative behavior, he wasn't arrogant about his title. Only reason he speak like was because it was necessary for him to take action regarding Tang Sect. After all, Tang Sect's founder was his father, and rightfully, it was his own.
So he needed to act accordingly. But that was his proper behavior, not his arrogance. That was also why he didn't want Amorous doulou to accompany him, since he himself found himself unworthy. This was also because of his deep rooted respect for Amorous doulou and the Heartless doulou, who helped him a lot in his previous life.
"How about I make you my personal assistant. I will announce it to the entire Tang Sect and tell them get you whatever you want ", Zang Xin proposed.
Tang Wulin nodded.

Zang Xin watched as Tang Wulin walked away. He then glanced at the items, leaving him speechless.

Tang Wulin knew how expensive those treasures were. But these items had the value of his life. So he had to get his hands on them.
At night, Tang Wulin sat down to cultivate. His progress was much faster compared to his previous life, since he already had great insight on the mysterious heaven technique. In addition, his superior martial soul also helped him.

"Golden Dragon King ", Tang Wulin muttered. This was the first time he saw the human form of the Golden Dragon King. He was dumbstruck at his appearance.
"To think the person I used as a means of revival and as a source of my revenge against him would almost inherit all of my strength ", the Golden Dragon King grinned
Tang Wulin collected his senses. He then proceeded to bowing down infront of the figure who just appeared, " regardless of why you did this, if it wasn't for your strength, I couldn't have achieved what I did in my previous life. If it weren't for your strength, I couldn't have been able to protect the doulou star as much as I did. And if it wasn't for you, I may not have even met 'her'. And now, if it wasn't for your strength, I wouldn't have gotten this second chance. And so, Thank you".
The Golden Dragon King was amused at Tang Wulin's behavior. "All I did was tried to kill you. And I couldn't care less about your second chance. It was you who used my power to return back in time, in exchange for a huge price ", he said with a smirk.
"You mean me loosing my divin origin consciousness?", Tang Wulin asked.
"That's not all, but also, you released a part of my consciousness. It not only is affecting you now, but also increase my tyrannical power's influence on you, much severe than last time ", he spoke, and causing Tang Wulin's eyes to widen. He already knew how terrifying, the power of the Golden Dragon King were. And now, it's gonna be even more terrifying. This also seemed to be the reason he seemed more prideful than he was in his previous life.
"That's also why, I'm here in your spirit sea ", Golden Dragon King said.
"Then, are you going to take over my mind again ?", Tang Wulin asked.
"I couldn't even if I want to. Your father's seals completely sealed away my power. Right now, even I don't have control over it, I lost my connection with it ", golden dragon king spoke with disdain.

Behind Tang Wulin, old Tang appeared and walked up to the two. "Well I do agree you had such strength, Wulin was nowhere near aware of your ability. His whole life, he was trying to restrain and assimilate this strength, he never had time to develop it, until the last few years ", old Tang defended him.
"Even if you are just a split soul within him, you sure are ready to defend him. This is partly your fault as well. You never taught him the right method to use his power ", golden dragon king said.
"Oh, are you implying you will teach him how to develop his power?", old Tang said, intriguing.
"Tch, even if I don't want to, he is my inheritor. If he looses to Silver Dragon King again, it's shameful for me. So I will train him, but it's not enough to protect yourself from the tyrannical will of my power. My technique is solely helping you develop your body, and it has nothing to do with you spiritual strength.
