Inside a large crystal palace, a figure was sitting crossed legged as he slowly breathed in and out. Small gusts of wind were produced with each breath, each colder than the last. Yet, despite the below freezing temperatures, he wore casual clothes without a hint of shivering.
"I'm sorry to interrupt Master relaxation, but a crisis is in need of your attention." Lilith's voice ranged through the crystal fortress.
"Was there an earthquake, a flood or landslide?" Jason slowly opened his blue eyes.
"More like a giant landmass slowly rising out of the ground." Lilith flickered onto screen. "From what I could find out, a robotic AI who calls himself Ultron plans to turn this city into a meteor."
"Meteor? What use does this have besides untold destruction?" Jason asked. "Where is it anyways."
"Master, he wants to drop it and wipe out humanity." Lilith replied as she dug out more updates. "It is in Sokovia by the way."
"...That's bad."
"Indeed."
--
Appearing in Sokovia as a large land mass slowly rose into the air. Jason could hear a battle already taking place. From the sounds of it, the Avengers were about done with Ultron as they already severed his connection to the internet.
'This is why electronic villains are such a pain. While you can destroy their physical bodies, they might have a hundred back up somewhere else.' Jason remembered asking his father about this topic previously.
"Lilith, can you switch off the machine remotely?" Jason asked as he flew below the large land mass.
"Sorry Master. There are no connections." Lilith replied before changing tones. "Master, what are you planning?"
"Lift and lower the city back down. It should be easy enough."
Lilith was speechless about her master plan. While it sounded simple in theory, practicality was another story. This was an entire city he was going to attempt to lift after all. Something far beyond anything he lifted before.
Hearing no objections to his plan, Jason positioned himself before using his heat vision to disable the device. Fairly quickly he felt the weight drop onto his shoulder as the machine malfunctioned and turned off. Dipping fast as he rebalanced himself Jason suddenly knew why Lilith didn't answer him.
'There is a bit of weight to this.' He thought.
In the distance he could see fighter jets alongside news choppers heading towards the city.
--
On top as they cleaned up Ultron, the Avengers felt the sudden drop and panic before realising the land was slowing down.
"What's going on?" Captain America asked first.
"Guys, the machine suddenly stopped working." Natasha shouted out from within the church.
"Then how is the island still floating?" Hawkeye asked as he saw the tops of mountains on the edge.
"Superman is currently holding it up." Tony spoke slowly in disbelief.
"Huh?" was nearly everyone's responses.
--
Slowly descending Jason gently placed the city down before rushing out from underneath. Well as gentle as he could be without burying himself underneath the city. As a small earthquake shook the city and the surrounding area. It was mostly harmless besides scaring some wildlife.
'Now it's time to work on cleaning up.' Jason thought sadly but went to work.

"Someone really needs to monitor Tony Stark's ideas." Inside the apartment, James grumbled as he looked at the television.
"It's almost like he never watched any movies with AI's." Liz added on as she took a sip of her drink.
On the television a metallic humanoid man was shown with a red glow and eyes. He appeared to be in a forign city, while the news anchor reported what went down a while ago. While it stated that the Avengers did manage to stop the crisis. It was leaked that Tony Stark and Bruce Banner were also the ones to create it in the first place.
"Where is Jason anyways?" Lala asked as she didn't see her boyfriend fighting nor being mentioned.
As the screen switched it showed a very familiar figure as it showed him holding up a giant landmass. There the reporter changed tones and reported in both respect and fear for the deed and strength shown.
"Next on tonight's news, The Sentry has rescued a dog from a burning building."
Switching the television off, Lala just frowned. Thanks to the reporter's actions either on purpose or accident, she knew the social media was blowing up. Not in a good way either as the news anchor just added fuel to those that hate Jason.
"Haters will always hate, Lala." James spoke after seeing her expression. "No matter how many he saves or helps, there will always be thoses that will fear for his strength or character."
"Yes, but why are they hyping up Sentry? He wasn't there nor did he help out as much. Save a cat from a tree he praised, Jason puts out wildfire he gets blamed for not moving fast enough."
"Lala dear. The media can turn black into white and vice versa and the masses will believe them." Liz replied. "Why did they choose Sentry? Who knows, maybe he knows someone in the government."
"Humanity hates what they don't understand. Since they don't know the limits of Jason's strength nor his weakness they can harness for themselves. They fear him since none may be able to stop him." James added.
"I guess being a hero is harder than I knew. No wonder Jason was hesitant at first." Lala sighed.
While she knew the difficulty as her own father was on in a different form. She underestimated it by a margin as unlike her father who can remove those that disagree. Jason was unable to unless he wanted to leave the planet.
"I wouldn't worry too much. In time they will change their views or in a hundred years. Jason will still be going while they are six feet under." James joked.
"I guess that's true." Lala agreed with that statement.
As the door opened, Jason walked in with a couple pies in his hands. "Who wants pie?"
