A month came and went since the fight between Thragg and Jason went down. While most simply forgot about the matter, the Government was still on the lookout. The main concern for them was either of these beings demolishing the country or unleashing a massive bio attack. As for Jason, not much changed beside James upping his training regiment.
Currently outside the house, a beach ball size machine with an angry face was running full power. It was Lala's latest vacuum and it didn't uproot the grass or trees while running. Jason stood like an unmovable object as his clothes rapidly fluttered in the wind.
Next to him, Lala wasn't so lucky as she could barely hold onto him. While she held on, her clothes weren't so lucky as they flew right off her body with barely any resistance. Luckily neither James nor Liz were home as they were off looking at some houses. It was decided they were moving to New York after graduation. For how it was decided, Liz tossed a dart at a map.
"I think this is enough testing." Lala complained as Jason pressed a button to turn it off.
"I'm not going to complain." Jason commented as he looked her over.
"Should I lower the power?" Lala asked as she thought he was talking about the vacuum.
She was unbothered baring all in front of him, so she didn't bother attempting to cover herself. It also wasn't like he hasn't seen it all before. Since she doesn't like taking baths or showers by herself, when she can she takes him with her.
"What do you plan to use it for first of all? If it is to suck up the dirt in the house, then yes."
"I was thinking more about picking up debris from demolished buildings or garbage floating around the lakes and ocean." Lala answered. "Recently, I was watching a documentary and it explained how trash was polluting and killing various species. So I want to do my part in cleaning up the environment."
While it impressed him a bit at what she wanted to do. Jason was slightly worried she was doing too much for mankind a little too fast. It was only recently that her healing pods gained traction and in a few hours shot to fame and surpassed him and his father's savings. She was now the richest one in the family.
"While I support your goals, Lala. I'm worried you are doing too much and will soon attract unwanted attention from an unsavory few." Jason replied not trying to dash or sound against her idea.
No matter what race, there will always be a few that will be dissatisfied with others' achievements. While a few may just frown or just plain out don't like them, there will be ones that will attempt to get rid of them by any means.
"It will be fine, Jason. I think you're worrying too much." Lala waved off his concern, but smiled at his show of caring for her.
'I think you're a little too carefree.' Jason mentally replied before changing topics. "Why don't we find you some clothes?"
Bouncing as she walked in front of him, Lala led the way to his room. Despite having her own room, she insists on keeping half her clothes in his room.

After collecting the vacuum and having her in new clothes. Jason was looking over his computer screen in Lala's lab. Currently he was running some simulations while Lala was doing some minor repairs. While it truthfully didn't need to be repaired, she discovered some parts she could tune up or make it more efficient.
"Truthfully, I think we should just add a scanner and filter. That way it could adjust to the correct power needed." Jason said as his test finished up.
Comparing the data tables, the one with a scanner and filter had the best results. The only down side was it would require a bit more power, but with a few adjustments. Even that should be neigable that only bugs and small adjustment should be their only worries.
Looking over the data sheets with her head on his shoulder. Lala rubbed her chin as she raised her goggles that worked similar to his X-ray vision.
"I think you're right." Lala gave him a small peck on his cheek.
"Of course. I am always right." Jason joked narcassically.
Slapping his shoulder lightly, "Sure, sure."
"I think you've been spending way too much time with Liz." Jason grumbled.
"Well, let's finish up this then we can watch a movie or something." Lala answered. "I will add the scanner and filter while you work on the coding?"
"Alright, let's do this." Jason grinned.

In a twenty seventh floor apartment, James was looking around the seven room apartment which included the bathroom and kitchen. It was smaller than their current house, but it would do and with Jason most likely moving out in a few years. The apartment wasn't a bad deal and was the nicest looking one they had seen so far.
"What do you think?" James asked.
"It's nice." Liz answered but she didn't sound so convincing.
"What's wrong with it?" he asked as he looked around.
"If the elevator breaks. I'm not looking forward to walking all the stairs." Liz answered as it was a fairly large apartment complex. Standing at thirty floors, they were fairly close to the top. "Especially if I just come back from grocery shopping."
"I don't think it will be that bad." James replied. "I'm sure they will do maintenance on it enough."
While Liz didn't look convinced, truthfully it wasn't that big of a deal for her. If it really did happen, she would call either him or Jason to help. They might as well put their powers to good use this way.
"Well, if it does happen I will just call you or Jason. I guess this is the one." Liz answered.
"Great. Now we just need to finish up here. Should we catch a movie or something?" James asked happily as he linked arms with her. "You know to give the two at home some time."
"I supposed we could, handsome. Only, knowing those two, they are probably either watching a movie or working on some invention." Liz sighed. "Why can't they do something scandalous so we can tease them in the future."

Back at the house, both Lala and Jason sneezed as if someone was cursing them from behind their back. Only, due to sneezing, the living room turned into a winter wonderland thanks to Jason.
