The seven students carried all the blocks of wood before Mr. arrived. They were told to rest until Mr. Wong came.
They all went to where Molly was sitting, "hey, how are you feeling now?" Mike asked.
"I am feeling much better, I think I will be able to join you when Mr. Wong comes," Molly replied.
"I don't think so, you have got to rest Molly," said Mr. Wong who had just arrived.
All the students turned around and saw Mr. Wong.
"Sir, you shouldn't have bothered yourself, I am fine," Molly told Mr. Wong.
"You don't know how important you all are to me; I will do anything for you. Even if I hear that one of you has been bitten by a bee, I will come," said Mr. Wong and all the students laughed.
"I am joking," he said. "But you are all important to me, I do not want to lose any of you, so Molly how is your hand?" he asked.
"Um, I can't feel the pain anymore just that I am still feeling weak," Molly replied.
"Ok, you have to rest. Nick will teach you what they will have learnt today," said Mr. Wong looking at Nick.
"I have someone who is going to train you today, this is Mr. Dalton," said Mr. Wong pointing to a man who was just arriving. Mr. Dalton was a handsome young man, he was in his early twenties and was married. He is going to teach you some of things that are very important, follow him to wherever he wants you to go. I will just stay here and have a little chat with Molly," he went on to say.
Kate was still locked in the cell when Morgan appeared from nowhere and sat beside her, "I have never seen anyone so foolish like you, and you could not be patient until you had Molly and Nick with you in the same room. You fell in love with Nick, didn't you and thought that you can get him by fighting Molly. I told you that you were supposed to be friends with Molly and then after that it would be easy to get Nick and Molly in the same room but you chose to do it your own way. You are going to stay here and that will be your punishment and it is the best way to keep you alive because if Winkle sees you, he is going to kill you," said Morgan.
"I told you that I wasn't able to do that and you forced me to do it now look what you have done, I will be locked in here probably until graduation day. Next time, if anyone says that he or she is not willing to do what you want just leave her because it will not help," Kate told Morgan.
"Well it has already happened, you are going to stay here Miss clever and let us see what you will do," Morgan said and left.
Mr. Dalton and the other students left and Mr. Wong went to sit beside Molly.
"You have to be brave because you are not going to fight with normal human beings," Mr. Wong told Molly who was surprised by what he had said.
"What do you mean we are not going to fight with normal human beings?" she asked still looking surprised.
"In their appearance they look like human beings but they are not normal human beings, they feed on human beings. Some call them horrors; I do not know what they are called. Here, read this article," said Mr. Wong handing a newspaper to Molly.
The article was about ten teenagers who were missing, it also said that these were not the only ones missing but there were more than fifty youths and teenagers missing. No one knew where they were and the police did nothing to try to find out what had happened to those youths and teenagers.
"So this means that whoever is doing this bribed the police officers so that they will not do anything," Molly said looking worried.
"That is correct; this is why your parents sent you to this school so that you could stop this. You have to protect the others and yourselves too. That person who manipulated Nick to kidnap you is behind the mysterious missing of these youths and teenagers," Mr. Wong replied.
"So why did he want me to be kidnapped and brought to him?" she asked.
"It is a long story, you will hear the whole story when your parents come next week, I just gave you a clue because I saw that you really wanted to know," replied Mr. Wong
"This world is now full of wicked people, why would someone kidnap innocent youths?" Molly seemed troubled.
"Do not worry, you will know very soon," replied Mr. Wong.
"When did this start happening?" Molly asked.
"I think it is now forty or more years, it had stopped but now it has started again and if there is no one to stop this, we will leave a country without youths or he might start going after the elderly ones. So we have to stop this before it is too late," replied Mr. Wong.
"But don't you think that if we wait until we graduate we might lose many youths, it will be too late. We might be able to stop Winkle's evil works but many youths will have gone," said Molly.
"You are right, that is why I keep on coming to check how far you have gone with your training. We now have to teach you things that are very important, some of the things you are being taught are not useful that is why I brought Dalton so that he could teach you the important things," replied Mr. Wong. Mr. Dalton was a tall and handsome young teacher that all the ladies who had set their eyes on him dreamed of being with him except for Molly. He was in his early twenties and was one of the best students that Mr. Wong had taught.
"I have to go and get the tablets, I will be back soon," said Molly standing up.
"I will go with you; I have to see Mr. Yen. You have to avoid staying on your own or walking around the school alone, you never know maybe there are people who are undercover," Mr. Wong warned Molly.
"I will try," replied Molly.
The other students were busy training; Mr. Dalton was a tough teacher and he seemed to know karate more than Mr. Yen did. The students learnt many things that day; they felt that they were ready to face the enemy after their training with Mr. Dalton. They were told to wait for Mr. Wong, who wanted to talk to them.
"You look very tired," said Mr. Wong to the students who were sitting down. "That is how it is; I hope Mr. Dalton has taught you a lot of things that you did not know. Your parents have called and they told me that they will be coming tomorrow, they think that next week is very far and they are afraid that they might not be able to make it," said Mr. Wong.
The students were happy when they heard this; they knew that that is when they would hear why they were at a karate school.
"I am not going anywhere; I will be here until tomorrow so if you have anything to ask you can come but certainly not about your being here because that is why your parents are coming. You may now go," Mr. Wong said.
All the students went to Molly's room to check if she was ok and then they went to their rooms. Nick promised Molly that he would come back after he had taken a bath.
Molly did not feel like going to the canteen so she sent Jillian to bring her food to her room. Nick went to the canteen, took his food and then came back to Molly's room.
Mr. Wong went to the cell where Kate was locked to try to make her talk.
"Hello," he said and Kate kept quiet.
"Are you deaf," Mr. Wong asked.
Kate knew that if she kept quiet Mr. Wong would run out of patience and get angry so she decided to answer him, " no sir," she answered.
"I hate to beat people because If I do, I will not leave you until you are hurt, so you just tell me who sent you and I will not touch you," Mr. Wong.
Kate had heard many things about Mr. Wong and she knew that he meant what he said and she said, "Winkle sent me."
"Ok, what did he want you to do?" he asked.
Kate started crying, "He wanted me to bring Molly and Nick to him," she replied.
"I see," said Mr. Wong, "so how were you supposed to do that?" he asked.
"I was supposed to make Molly my friend and then in that way it would be easy to have Molly and Nick in the same room and then I would take them to Winkle," Kate replied.
"What did he want to do with them?" Mr. Wong asked.
"He wanted to use them to bring the remaining students to him and then there would be no one to fight him. The last time he tried to, he failed because that is when you came, he wasn't expecting you, he thought that the remaining students would come to rescue them and then he would capture them but he failed," explained Kate.
"Ok, is there anything you know that might help us," Mr. Wong asked.
"Nothing I know but I will look for more information if you release me," Kate said and Mr. Wong laughed.
"You think that I will release you if you say that, so that you can go back to Winkle and work for him again. You will stay here Kate until the war is over," Mr. Wong said and left.
Nick was with Molly in her room and she seemed as if something was bothering her.
"You seem to have something on your mind, what is it?" Nick asked.
"Nothing, it's just that I'm worried I missed the important part of training today," she lied.
"Come on Molly," said Nick said looking into her eyes, "I can tell from the look in your eyes that it is more than that," he said.
"Wow, you really know me," she told Nick.
"Hey, I knew you before you became my girlfriend. Now spit it out, what is it?" he replied not taking his eyes off her.
"Ok, but promise not to tell anyone. Mr. Wong told me that we are not going to be fighting normal human beings, we are going to fight with people who feed on human flesh," she replied.
"Please tell me you are joking," said Nick.
"Serious Nick, probably that is why our parents did not tell us before we came here because they knew that we would refuse," she explained.
"And by the time they tell us it will be too late to quit, they really got us. But I think we should tell the others, then we will know what they think," he said.
"You are right, I will go and call Abby and Anne whilst you go and call Jillian and the others," Molly said already standing up.
Nick went to Charles and Mike's room, Jillian and Hailey were also there and he told them that they should all meet in Molly's room. Molly went to Abby's room and stood at the door listening to what they were saying, "Do you have a boyfriend or ever had one," Anne asked Abby.
"Nope, don't think I will find one," Abby replied.
"Why?" Anne asked her.
"Come on get real, who would want an ordinary girl like me," Abby said.
"Hey, don't say that. You are pretty and to tell you the truth anyone who gets you is lucky," Anne told her friend.
"Please, stop flattering me. What about you, I see the way you look at Mike. You like him, don't you?" Abby asked her friend who looked aside.
"Oh please, Mike?" she laughed.
"Come on Anne, you like Mike but the fact that he already has a girlfriend makes it hard and you think that you are not his type," Abby told her friend.
"You are right, I am not his type after all he already has a girlfriend who is flashy and I am not. Maybe if I was flashy just like Hailey, he would have picked me instead of her," Anne replied almost crying.
"You know what; someone who really likes you for who you are is a good boyfriend. Do not worry, Mike will come for you, if he likes you, he will like you for who you are. Look at Molly and Nick; Molly did not reject Nick for what he had done to her. That is real love, she did not look back," Abby explained.
"We both know that Nick is cute and there is no way Molly would reject him," Anne said.
"Well I see things beyond the obvious, it is more than that. I just wish I could get into a relationship like theirs, they are just simple unlike the others," Abby said.
"You are right, they are both from rich families but they are not like the others who are flashy, they are just simple," Anne admitted.
Molly knew that the others were waiting for them, she knocked on the door and Abby came to open it. She panicked when she saw Molly and Molly noticed, "Hey, what is wrong? Why did you panic when you saw me?" Molly asked smiling.
Abby looked at Anne who looked down and said, "Nothing, it's just that I didn't expect you to come," she lied.
"Sorry for eaves dropping girls, I heard what you were saying. There is no need to panic, you did not say anything bad," Molly told them.
Abby and Anne looked surprised, "please don't get angry with us," they pleaded with her.
"Why would I be angry? You are both beautiful and you deserve someone who is real, don't worry Anne, Mike will come to you very soon. It is just a matter of time, believe me you are exactly what he likes," Molly said.
"You just want us to feel better, Mike would never like anyone like me," Anne said.
"Ok, we will see. Hey, everyone is waiting for us in my room. There is something you should know, come on let us go," Molly said taking Abby and Anne's hands. Everyone was there when Molly and the two girls arrived and they sat down.
"Ok, please do not panic. Mr. Wong said that we are not going to fight with normal human beings but people who feed on human flesh," Nick explained.
"What?" the others asked.
"You heard me, that s why our parents did not tell us before we came here because they were afraid that we would refuse to come here," Nick replied.
"Well, they did a good job. Did he tell you why we are going to fight those things?" Anne asked.
"No, he said our parents will tell us and I think you heard that they are no longer coming next week but tomorrow because they are running out of time that is what he said," Molly replied.
"This is getting weirder, running out of time to do what?" Mike asked.
"No one knows, did you know that in New York there are twenty or more girls missing in a month's time? The police have not done anything to see who is behind that because whoever is doing that bribed them. That person is the same person who sent people to kidnap us and who sent that girl Kate," Molly explained
"So what does he want us for?" Anne asked.
"We don't know yet, so tomorrow when our parents come, we have to pretend to know nothing and they expect some of us to quit but that is not going to happen. We have come so far to give up, we are the only chance they have, and we are the only ones who can stop these things. Are you all with me?" She asked.
"Yes," they all agreed.
"Guys," Abby said standing,
"What is it Abby?' they all asked.
"There's someone trying to get Kate out of the cell, we have to go and tell Mr. Yen," she said.
"No, that girl cannot escape, let us go and tell Mr. Wong," Molly said.
The other four ran to the cell whilst the others went to look for Mr. Wong. They saw him sitting in Mr. Yen's office.
"Sir, there is someone trying to get Kate out of the cell," Abby told him.
"What? We should not lose that girl," Mr. Wong said taking his tab. They all ran to the cell and saw her lying down.
"What happened to her?' Abby asked.
"I connected the electric fence," replied Mr. Wong opening the cell.
"I don't think it was electricity that took her down, it is like some sort of magic and electricity wouldn't work because this person was using magic," Molly didn't believe what Mr. Wong had said.
Mr. Wong looked at her, "you are too observant, it is a mixture of both electricity and magic that took her down," he lied.
Molly knew that this cell was protected by something more than just electricity and she knew that Mr. Wong had lied o her but she kept quiet.
"Actually, I was thinking of releasing you but I changed my mind. Who was that trying to get you out," Mr. Wong asked Kate.
"It wasn't my idea, I refused but he forced me to leave with him. He is one of Winkle's puppets," Kate replied
"Well, too bad you didn't make it. You will stay here until I feel like releasing you," Mr. Wong said.
All the students went back to where they were, "guys, I have an idea," Hailey said.
"And what is that idea?" they asked.
"That girl Kate might be able to tell us the whole story and she might help us," she said.
"I don't think we might be able to talk to her," Molly told the others. "Mr. Wong will be watching us, there is a camera in that room so it won't work," she said.
"She is right Hailey, there are cameras all over the cell so we won't succeed but if we persuade Mr. Wong to release that girl so that she can go undercover, he might agree," Mike said.
"Yeah, maybe," Jillian replied.
"We will have to try tomorrow and see if he will agree, I am off to my room," Mike said and left. The others left too, Nick and Molly remained behind.
Nick moved closer to Molly and took her wounded hand, "are you ok, you keep on looking at your hand?" Nick asked.
"Yes, I am ok," she replied.
"You didn't take your tablets, did you?" Nick asked Molly who shook her head. He stood up, took two pills, a glass of water and gave them to Molly. Molly drank the tablets and gave Nick the water glass to put it on the table."
"Mmm, I'm now feeling sleepy, I will go and call Jillian," Nick said yawning.
"Hey, leave her, I will be fine," Molly told him.
"No, I don't want anything to happen to you again, you have suffered enough," Nick said. He gave her a good night kiss and went to call Jillian, within two minutes Jillian had arrived.
"Nick is really worried about you," said Jillian.
"He shouldn't be, I'm ok. I don't think there are more people who are going to come," Molly assured Jillian.
"Are you sure about that, that man will not stop until he gets what he wants," Jillian replied.
Molly looked at Jillian and said, "The way you talk, you seem to know more about this person, and do you know anything?"
"No, it's just that from what has happened so far he seems to be someone who doesn't easily give up," she replied.
"Ok, I'm feeling sleepy. Good night," said Molly.
"I will just sit and watch you sleep then I will sleep," Jillian said.
Molly laughed, "Why would you want to do that?" she asked.
"Because if anything happens to you, I will be in trouble," Jillian replied.
"Hey, nothing is going to happen. You have to sleep," Molly promised her and she went to sleep.
