Previously: Deidre and Aleigha make it to the home and run into friends of the family. Medard and Vassili had already met Linus's next of kin. Their names are Lamuel, Thankful, and another.
"We thought we could catch them together and blow em away." Explains Ezio. "We had the amulet and then we found out these inbred fuckers had an amulet, too."
Medard and Vassili fixed the broken couch enough to sit on. Aleigha went into the kitchen with his phone floating behind him. "There's a back door here."
"There wasn't one before. We snooped around the house and everything." Informed Ezio. "If it's a door in there, they made it with the amulet they had."
I put my bottom on a table and use it as a seat. "I'm out of loop. Who are you guys?" I need to know these things, I don't how annoying I am. "Little Deidre." Ari peeps with joy. "We haven't seen you since, you got kidnapped and then ran away."
Which is it? I ran or I got kidnapped? "Both." Aleigha comes waltzing out of the kitchen. "You got put into an orphanage, that's the kidnapping part. Then, you ran away from the orphanage."
"That's a lie," corrects Ezio., pointing at Aleigha in the doorway. "He was so scared of your dumb ass. He ran away, got caught by the DOHRCC police in Virginia and ended up in Maine."
"Now yous trying to make amends," added Ari. He switches his attention to me, "Your brother tried to eat your ass and he's trying correct his way. And probably fuck a dead body again, just like his fowl ass uncle."
My brother tried to eat me. I shift my weight and look at Aleigha. I don't have any wounds or scars. "He ate me?" I chortle. "Yeah..." he laments. "I ate you."
"Nigga you got PTSD," mentions Ezio. "He's using Triks to hide it."
"ENOUGH," Aleigha marches to me to grab my arm and pull me towards the door. "You going after the inbred?" the twins get up from the couch. "Be careful about Thankful. She has that strange ass amulet."
Aleigha pushes me out the door and commands me to wait in the car with Seamus. At least I have someone to talk to. Once inside the car, I ask how Seamus has been doing. "I'm back, crazy happened. So, I learned my brother tried to eat me, I don't know how to feel."
Seamus: That's wild. You're in your right to be emotionless. I know I am.
"You aren't emotionless, Seamus. I know it's hard, being a husk. Sometimes I feel like that but that's what makes us such good friends.
Seamus: Best friends.
I can really count on Seamus. I'm thinking, I could even get to know him more than a friend. He's so nice to talk to.
My head turns at a rapping at my window. "what in the hell are you doing?" Aleigha shouts, his mouth open and lost for words. Is this equal to having someone bust in while you're jacking off? "Are you making the zombie talk?" he's so disappointed in me and I don't know what to tell him. "Nigga is you lonely?"
"I'm kidnapped!" What am I supposed to do? Lynn is thirty fucking two and a witch or lytch. I'm so confused. "Move over," he opens my right-side door. He pushes me to the side; I can't fight him. Compared to Aleigha I'm not that buff. Lean and muscular but the difference is obvious, at least my ass is plump. But Aleigha, Jesus Christ. I haven't mentioned it but it's out there. "You thinking about the size of my ass?" he snarls at me. "I work out."
It's a fat ass. "Ileoh, you heard what the twins said?"
"I did." Responds the phone. "I have no idea where the triplets could be nor do I know about this amulet."
"Give me a list of all the recorded amulets in mother's encyclopedia." The phone beeps. "Here, Uncle Iarius updated the website today. It seems he left you a message as well."
"Texting or other?"
"On the website directly."
At the bottom of the page in red bold italics: Allie, the last one. MIA.
"The amulet is The Fe yon Bagay. It contains the spirit, Onuchukwu Tobechuwu." Speaks Ileoh. "I looked through your mother's bible. O-Man, for short, he put himself in the amulet."
Me and Aleigha's eyes bulge out. "You can put yourself in an amulet?" I don't know why when the goddamn answer was just given to me. "I didn't know that but with all the voodoo in the world. I'm not surprised.
"Neither am I," retorts the phone. "But I do have something that will shock you."
"What's that?"
"O-Man was the first drunken vampire. He ate Changany's left leg."
It's a lot being dropped that I don't get. Obviously, because I'm a walking amnesiac. "What now?" Aleigha starts exhaling and inhaling rapidly. Pressing his back against the seat. "Them niggas got a drunken vampire in the amulet."
"You're drunk!" I spew. "What's the problem. It's probably like a snake, if they get bit nothing happens."
Aleigha closes his eyes and once again his fist meets my face. "I should have gone and got your fucking memory, first." I hold my nose, oozing blood. "I take teaspoons. Everyone in the Ghytto knows you aren't supposed to take more than a teaspoon if you plan to eat another vampire. It's also in the fucking bible."
"So?" I mumble, poor Seamus can't help me. "It's bad, my eyes are pink because of poison! From drinking other vampires!" Oh shit. Wait, what the fuck told him to eat another vamp in the first place?
He lunges forward and seizes my collar. "OUR FUCKING MOM!"
"I'm starting to think she was a hoe! What mother tells her children to eat vampires if it's so fucking bad!" His eyes are glowing, gradually change into the hue of scarlet red. "I swear to God, I'm going to eat you again!"
"What's stopping you?"
"You're my fucking brother! I don't any fuckin' family left!" Aleigha headbutts me. My vision is blank, I know color exist and black is the only thing I see. I last thing I felt was hitting the car door.
"Seamus, go to this address. Medard told me what to do. It's a mansion next."
