I woke up from the hard stone floor. During the night I had gotten a unbareble headache. I looked around in my surroundings and found myself at home. I was a poor kid living with my mum whilst my dad was a gunshot victim. It was hard for our family to pay rent so our house wasn't the best. It had broken windows, visible mold on the swellings that smelled like dead animals and abandoned furniture that we had found on the aide of the road.
I sat up for a bit to decrease the pain from the headache. I sat on the cold hard and thought about life. It wasn't the best, I didn't know how to talk to girls and I was just a skinny fat teenager with under avrage looks. Me and my family were originally from 64 hundred block in Chicago but when my father died my mum decided to move to Japan because she had gotten a jobb opertunity as an English teacher. I was black so I didn't really fit in, I only had one friend and we were not that close so I just sat in school by myself and read novels in school. I often got bullied but I didn't let it reach mom.
One day I was eating at the cafeteria. I didn't really eat, I just sat there and stared at the food and wondered what the hell they ate in Japan. Suddenly I heard a sound and it came towards me. I looked up towards the sound because I thought it was some bullies but it wasn't. It was a girl and she was coming to me. She had long black hair and a woman's figure that matched her beautyfull face. She just sat down at my table and I wanted to talk to her but my lips wouldn't move. I just sat there and stared at her. And she made a surprised look. That was the moment I realized I had stared at her the whole time. Now I had to talk to apologize to her.
"Sorry for looking at you for that long, I didn't notice that I was starting at you untill you made that funny face. "
"No problem, I would have done the same thing if I were you. And by the way what's your name? You don't look Japanese but you speak fairly good Japanese."
"Oh my name is Von, I'm from Chikago. Me and my mom moved to Japan when I was ten years old. So I have lived in Japan for around eight years."
Did I talk to a girl for the first time without sounding nervous? If I could ask her that wouldn't it be easy to ask her why she sat her in the first place? I took small breath and looked at her beautiful eyes so I could get her attention.
"By the way can I ask you a question?"
"Yeah sure, what's your question?"
"Why did you decide to sit here? I mean no one ever notices me here. I just sit and read books all day."
She started looking at me without making direct eye contact. She smiled at me whilst saying; "I notice you... You seem like a nice guy so I decided I would come up to you instead."
