What! What! How! I was in great shock. Did she like me? I looked up towards her stunning face and she was looking down on her food to avoid eye contact. Then she couldn't hold it anymore and ran off in a hurry like she was afraid. She was a shy girl indeed. But why was she leaving now? It felt like my mom was leaving me. Did she think I was a nerd, maybe she was just playing with me to make me look dumb. I didn't want to risk it tho so I jumped out of my seat and started running towards her but she was already gone. What was her name? I thought to myself.
I sat back down and picked up my utensils. The food looked gross and it smelled even worse. That day I decided to skip my lunch and went straight home in hopes of forgetting what just happened. My paranoia kicked in and I was now convinced that this was what seemed like a harmless prank.
I never saw her that day and I just went off with my normal routine. when I got home I greeted mom and went to my room. I watched some movies and played some online games on my computer. This day was so overwhelming for me that I went to the lake that I always went to when I wanted some alone time. I grabbed my sandals and my bathing shorts to swim. My mom looked at me with a disappointed face. I already knew what she meant by that expression.
I started running down the apartment stairs through the gate and onto the beach. Surprisingly it only took me five minutes to run. When I got there I was out of breath so I walked down in the cold water. I sat on the bottom of the lake watching the fish slowly swimming around me. The sunset was beautiful and the breeze was so calming that I almost fell asleep.
Fish were one of my favorite animal. They just swim so quietly and effortlessly. I took a final look at the sun before I rose up from the water. With the gained height I saw a small shadow trying to sneak up on me. I didn't want to panic so I just pretend that I didn't see the shadow. What would I do now? It started walking faster and faster until it jumped to grab me. That was when I ducked and the human jumped over me and landed right in front of me. It was hard to use who it was because of all the water splashing onto my face combined with the lack of light. I was ready to throw a punch when I realized that it was a girl. It was the girl that sat in front of me at the lunch table...
