Steve came to the edge of his seat as he tried to make Joan see reasons with him. "Jo, if you think about it carefully, you will see that it is not a bad idea as such. I think we would make a great couple since we both understand each other so well, we are best friends. Most marriage arrangements started on less. What if our parents had chosen strangers for us?" Steve asked, making Joan snort.
"Can you hear yourself? Like are you really listening to yourself right now? It is NOT their place to choose anyone for us to marry! I really can't believe you right now, you of all people should know better," Joan hissed as she glared at him.
Steve kept quiet as he thought of a better way to convince Joan in seeing reasons with him. He knew it wasn't going to be easy convincing her but he wasn't going to give up until she was convinced.
