He felt it before it happened. It was as though he was lifted up and could see the scene play out before him. He could see his body being bounced around in the vehicle he could hear the screams and even feel the sting of a pungent gas odour in his nostrils. This was really happening he thought. One strong jerk as the vehicle rolled once more and it seemed as though he snapped back into his body. The view was no longer from above. He expected to feel pain nevertheless he didn't. He felt empty. He knew his vehicle was currently summersaulting after being hit from the side by a large truck with a speeding driver. He also had the strange foreboding that this hit was going to leave him dead but still he felt no pain. He heard the screeching and scraping as the car continued to roll. He felt like a doll as it seemed he had no control over his body. The rolling seemed endless. He felt the pressure of the passenger beside him and turned to look at her but his head obviously wasn't being controlled by him. Eventually there was aloud thud as the vehicle fell off the road and landed in a deep ditch. He heard the thud but didn't feel his body hit the ground instead he saw a bright flash of blinding light and he thought ' I should pray shouldn't I? Is it too late?'
