hi everyone my pen name is AirheadPufferfish because I'm often lost in my fantasies and I'm fat, my favorite is science fiction, mixed with fantasy and this is my first attempt to write a novel, I hope some of you will like it

even if the mc can't cultivate spiritual energy, there are energy cultivators in this novel, but first let's talk about soul cultivation, in the jumping in the puddle universe, when cultivating the body and having breakthroughs the soul will automatically follow, so only a few people directly cultivate the soul with the objective of discarding their physical body, forming a soul body

when a soul body is formed, it will automatically be at the fifth stage unshackled realm forming a core seed based on the affinity of the original body and since he or she would become an entity made of energy they won't be tied down by lifespan anymore as long as there's energy in the environment, but before that, they are very weak as cultivating the soul bring benefits only to the mind, aside from the unlocking of the innate ability at blue soul level and possibly a psychic ability depending on the soul cultivation method, that sure sounds cool but it's usually very weak and used for utility (example: mind reading, telekinesis, etc)

the levels are in order: spark igniting, white, green, blue(unlock innate ability), purple, orange, gold, platinum, and last colorless, that it's not really the end but there are no more qualitative changes only endless accumulation

once colorless it's possible to form a spiritual body and start elemental energy cultivation from the fifth stage with a pure core, but only if the person it's still equal or below the fourth stage (in case they are cultivating both), but this is a very rare path, because of how slow and difficult it is to reach the colorless level, and also because of other sociopolitical reasons that will be better explained in the story

next, let's talk about the cultivation levels in the Sun Federation from where our protagonist it's from, it is divided into 10 stages plus a mysterious eleventh that could or could not exist, the first three stages are divided into five levels while the others follow a more percentage, and comprehension basis

The first stage mortal awakening: in which the energy circulation in the body is created the final objective it's to awaken and fill with the gaseous spiritual energy the dantian while strengthening the body

The second stage is energy compression: in which the innate ability is awakened (if not awakened in another way, in any case there is only one), and the objective is to compress the gaseous energy into droplets until the dantian is full of water-like spiritual energy

the third stage is energy conversion: in which the objective is to convert all the spiritual energy into higher-tier elemental energy (unattributed) and comprehend the element with the most affinity (for example in the specter family Vincent, Joseph, and Phoebe all cultivated the rare spatial elemental energy, while Obelix cultivated the also rare thunder elemental energy, and Andrea the rarest double life and fire elemental energy which it's 1 in a billion chance to have a balanced affinity of two elements)

as a side note while it is possible to cultivate another element, without the corresponding talent it becomes very hard to break through and generally using an element without the talent for it will just make any abilities weaker than those who have the talent

The fourth stage elemental awakening: in which the objective is to convert all the unattributed elemental energy into attributed elemental energy

The fifth stage unshackled: in which becomes possible to fly and eating, drinking and sleeping are no longer a strict necessity, the objective is to accumulate the attributed elemental energy in every organ from inside to outside (last being the skin), to reform the body and push away all the impurities, in this stage is also where true cultivation start and making a small mistake means not being able to reach the higher levels, when the reformation is at 80% it's possible to breakthrough but without a 100% it's impossible to reach the seventh stage in the future, when the cultivator decide it's enough, or finished expelling all the impurities he will form a core seed entering the next stage.

sixth stage fake core: the objective becomes to fill and expand the core seed untill he doesn't absorb any more energy, and when the core turn solid one can enter the next stage apart for those who neglected the fifth stage, for them the cultivation journey ends here as their core is tainted by the impurities and if it turns solid would crumble

seventh stage true core: in which if the core it's not destroyed it's possible to revive at the cost of going back to the start of the sixth stage, while the people with a pure core will compress it several times till the limit and then fuse it with their soul to give birth to an illusory domain opening the door to the next stage

eight stage elemental lord: touched by the laws, immortal body, unable to procreate, the objective it's to comprehend the laws of their element and use them to turn the illusory domain into a true domain

there are various methods to cultivate in this universe and this one is the mainstream in the Sun Federation, some characters will not follow these rules, and other civilizations could have an entirely different method, this is a generalized version of how they do it in the Sun federation

about technological level, I will use stages as a comparison to keep it clean and understandable and avoid making 20 lists of hundreds of different names, but just like alchemy pills or refined weapons, etc, they will have low, middle, high, and peak levels for every stage

now let's talk about qualities, everything as a quality, be a method a weapon a spiritual beast, or a monster and they are: common, uncommon, elite, rare, epic, superior, legendary, mythical/matchless

mythical it's for the living, and matchless it's for the objects, also matchless can be only one item per type( if there is a fire element matchless cultivation method, there wont be a second one, but ther could be a water element one or a spatial element, so on and so forth)
