Daniel's eyes opened and he was standing in a strange crystal clear dome, looking under, there was what seemed to be a hybrid between a city and a spaceship, the icy metal buildings mixed with gardens and even 2 lakes were brimming with life, many daniels moved around tending to them as the hexagonal structure was floating in space, while the real him was standing on the top floor of the central tower-like structure, while he listened to the humming of the almost opaque white energy shield while enjoying the light show
around the city, hundreds of different starships had their shield up and were firing on the city all they had
phasers, blasters, and torpedos, they produced a fascinating and colorful light show crashing on the city shield
suddenly Daniel heard the sound of the elevator coming and soon some soft steps were coming from behind him, and the woman who arrived said "master, here's your tea" while passing him a delicate porcelain cup
Daniel continued looking at the light show, and said without moving his eyes "have you ever thought they were going to react like this"
the woman shook her head and said "they are only mortals, sooner or later the new generation was bound to forget the past"
Daniel took another sip and said "this time we stayed too long, go to your station the city is about to activate the dimensional sinking protocol"
the woman bowed and said "as you wish, master" then turned around and walked away
Daniel sighed and said "well it's been a while since last time"
less than a minute later a mechanical voice sounded in the dome and said "the guests and cargo are secured, dimensional sinking in progress"
the enormous city started to disappear from the bottom, sinking into nothingness till only the dome at the highest point remained outside
Daniel sighed and said "transmit on every channel to the vessels around us"
the mechanical voice answered "transmission started"
Daniel nodded and said "to all the vessel around, it's been a pleasure spending this last millennia here, too bad your ancestors were nicer than all of you idiot's, remember always that the only reason I haven't recycled all of your ships after scrapping them, it's because of my friendship with your ancestors, goodbye"
soon a angry voice responded "wanderer you bastard, surrender and give us control of your ship or "
Daniel said "close channels" interrupting the angry voice
afterwards he raised his hand and a cyan drop appeared in it, than while looking at it, he said "to think i actually had the illusion to be able to control it, where should we go this time?"
the mechanical voice answered "wherever"
Daniel started laughing and said "you are right let's go wherever" while throwing the drop, that flew in the only free corner of space, than stopped and exploded, cyan water like energy erupted like when a bomb explodes underwater, and all the ship stopped firing, everyone became silent looking at the cyan puddle that just formed in space
the dome started flying and entered the puddle, a couple of moments later the puddle closed in on itself and disappeared, but all the ships stayed still, no one on board talked, who would have thought that their ancestors fairytale was actually real
