Virelant Continent, a huge landmass surrounded by a smaller island and the four seas. There are various kingdoms and empire stretch across its land. Various races live in this Continent, Humans, Elves, Dwarfs, Dragons, Mermaid, Catkin, Dogkin, Rabbitkin and others. Sometimes there are people born with Rune powers, those born with a high amount of rune power can form a contract with multiple monsters to control them. Stronger monster will have a higher rune cost and the amount of rune power each people have will be different depending on the amount they are born with and the increase in their skill and knowledge overtime. Thus, a Rune knight becomes a core military division of a kingdom or an empire, they can perform various military task and outperform the other branch of military services becoming an effective tool of war.

Alan forced his eyes open and sit up forcefully.

His vision blurred. He couldn't find anything to focus on!

Alan closed his eyes again. He wanted to scream but no sound came out. It wasn't the first time his body had experienced something like this. He remembers this feeling is the same when he transmigrated to this world the first time. Alan clenched his teeth and silently feels the changes that took place within his body, nausea and extreme dizziness as well as numb feelings permeate his body
At last you have woke up, being of another world. Alan can hear a voice suddenly talking in its head, surprised Alan roll to his side and fall of the bed. Realizing that the fall hurts him, Alan knows that this is not a dream, someone or something is really talking in his head.
"Don't be afraid human, we meant you no harm said the gentle voice".
"We have read your memory and know who you are, your soul does not belong to this world said another voice".
In his confused state Alan can only ask, who are you?
We do not have a name, but we have a consciousness and a sentient being or you may know us as the spirit of the True Runes.
I already have these two true runes for thirty years but they never talk? Alan argued with the voice in his head.
Hmmph, Stupid human what do you know about True Runes, you underestimate its power, just facing an incarnation of True Chaos Rune and all of you already crumble at the first sight.
Now now… it is understandable for him not to know anything, human lives are nothing but a speck of dust compare to us.
Alan, we are the spirit of True Runes that are bound to your soul when you become the bearer of these Runes. We have been dormant for thousands of year and it required a tremendous amount of energy to jolt us awake as in your saying. When you blew yourself up the huge amount of mixed energy is barely enough for us to regain our consciousness.
Alan remember that in some ancient record it is said that True Rune posses its own consciousness but in his previous life both of his True Runes never said anything.
After talking with both of them for a while, Alan knew the gentler voice is the spirit of True Rune of Observation and Knowledge while the rougher voice belongs to the Spirit of True Rune of Space and Time.
Now that we have regained consciousness, we are bound to help you with whatever endeavour you had in mind until you died. You may know this already but unlike other True Runes, I am not suitable for battle. I can only help you organize the amount of information you receive from me into a format that you are familiar with.
To ease our communication, you may call us Lambda and Omega from your Earth Greek alphabet. Now due to Omega power which can transport your soul back in time, you may notice that you are back to when you arrive in this world the first time. You can stimulate your mana to your chest and head part of your body, the place where we will engrave you with our power.
Alan try to stimulate his mana and direct it to the centre of his chest and the middle of his forehead, he can feel the crystal like substance from the True Rune of Space and Time melting into his skin and create a protruding tattoo in the form of circle of light with a green colour engraved on the middle of his chest and The True Rune of Observation and Knowledge form an inverted eye tattoo with a purple colour on the middle of his forehead,
True Rune of Space and Time, the rune he got when he transmigrated to this world the first time, the pattern in the rune is the same as the Crystal tablet he got back on earth and the other True Rune was The True Rune of Observation and Knowledge which is the Kingdom heirloom that his mother stole from the Royal treasury in his previous life. Alan realizes that he has carry over the two true runes that he got before he died.
