After walking for about two hours, Liam stopped in front of a building.
"It's here."
Liam frowned as he kept his gaze fixed on the dilapidated apartment complex.
This building was supposedly one of the best apartments in this dangerous area of the city.
It had a pretty old design in Liam's opinion.
One that could be considered backward compared to the modern atmosphere that the Blue City conveyed.
Liam thought how someone would have the thought of settling in these places.
The area that Liam was in at the moment was one known publicly for its lack of rules and its criminals everywhere.
Not to mention the hideous looks of these places. "A tenant repellent." Liam thought.
The streets were full of rubbish and dirt. Even small mountains of garbage could be seen from time to time.
It was not possible to see any domestic animals on the streets. Liam even thought they didn't even exist.
The people who could roam these places were mostly poor and homeless people who did not have enough money to buy food.
Beggars went through the streets begging people for alms. Only to be scorned, beaten, and thrown aside.
Young and middle-aged women advertised their services on the street corners.
Some had marks on their bodies, other wounds on their skin, and a minority with sexual diseases.
Liam could see a few women carrying his children.
There is no need to mention the gangs of criminals who patrolled every corner of the roads as if they were gangsters.
Skilled thieves were everywhere.
"Greed, sloth and lust." Liam thought these places were the perfect settings for despicable people.
He could not imagine how such an immature and cowardly child as the original owner of this body could survive for long.
Without finding an answer to his question, Liam stopped taking more importance on these insignificant matters.
After some time to recover some energy from his weak body, Liam walked towards the apartment complex in front of him.
According to his recollections, this was where the previous Liam lived.
The reason the current Liam wasn't entirely sure, is because the memories of this body were vaguely noticeable in his memory.
If he wanted to know more, he had to focus on such a memory so that the fog that covered him would disperse.
But this cost too much work and effort. In addition to generating a headache.
Then, Liam stopped trying and would only be guided by the few memories that were in his head.
Still, what little he remembered were negative feelings for the severe depression suffered by the Liam of this world.
After passing through the entrance, he was greeted by a huge room in which guests were greeted.
Liam thought it would be a beautiful place if it didn't look like the last time a cleaning was done was centuries ago.
To one side of the entrance, Liam saw a counter where a middle-aged lady was sitting.
It didn't take a rocket scientist to know that she was the owner of these departments.
Who in her right mind would work here?
Hearing footsteps from the entrance, the lady looked up from her with a hint of interest at the thought of having a new client.
Unfortunately, her gaze met the expressionless face of a wounded young man.
Knowing who it was, the interest disappeared from the lady's gaze. "Tsk. I got excited for a piece of trash… "she murmured contemptuously.
The lady didn't take a second look before continuing to count the money she had illegally collected under the counter.
Liam didn't bother to say anything. What use was she to him? In nothing.
He climbed the stairs that were to one side of the counter. This building did not have an elevator.
It only had long stairs in bad condition by which the tenants went up to his apartments.
Liam began to feel more and more tired.
His body was too fatigued and he remembers that the previous Liam didn't bother to eat breakfast.
"Doesn't he know that breakfast is the most important thing of the day?" Liam thought.
"Brghhhhh." His stomach growled at him as he agreed with this thought.
Miraculously, after about fifteen minutes, Liam reached his destination.
Tired, he stopped for a few seconds in front of his apartment to recover before entering.
He was greeted by a neat and tidy little three-meter room with white walls. In addition to a small window in the wall.
Liam scanned his apartment.
Although his body felt used to this place, it was not the same for Liam.
"A bathroom, a kitchen and a bed." Liam finished checking the room and saw that he only had the basics to live on.
"Thinking of where this building is located, it is a blessing in disguise that it has at least one bathroom ..."
Staring at the bed in the middle of the room, Liam had an extreme desire to lie on the bed.
During the years that he was in the slums of the Earth, there was not a day that he did not sleep on a cold and dirty surface.
So seeing a clean and tidy bed in front of him was as if a naked woman had been put on him.
Of course, he did not hesitate to lie down on the bed.
He now he was the Liam of this fantasy world, so this was all his now.
Approaching slowly, he sat on the corner of his bed and enjoyed the sensation of incredible softness that lowered his buttocks.
"This is life ..." he thought.

Then, a golden hologram magically appeared in front of his eyes.
