Chapter 4 - Chapter Three.1 - Fireflies

[This is a longer update from Easter!!! ♥😊💖]

Sorry, there is a bit of swearing in this chapter.

TW: Panic Attack

Sleepover Arc

"So this is why you said that we should have a sleepover at your house? Because you were going to have more than the limit of friends over?" Clay nudged the shorter male with his elbow looking down at him.

Truth be told, there were not even that many people and even so, it was only friends. There was nothing wrong with having a sleepover with friends for no reason other than to cheer someone up. "There's not even that many people and you know everyone here." George gave Clay a smile before he nudged him back with his elbow. They had cleared a spot in the living room for the slumber party. The wooden coffee table had been pushed against the wall, keeping it out of the way. Sleeping bags were placed in sections all over the living room floor filling up the small area, practically overlapping each other. There were two couches and one of which was occupied with some of George's blankets even though he is not the one who is going to be sleeping there.

"Well... Mostly everyone here. There are some people who I have not met and I know a lot of people." A voice came from behind the two. Clay looked as if he had just had a heart attack, he paled a little bit. George let out a small laugh and patted the younger male's back, "Your okay."

Clay turned around to see a member of the football team and one of his other friends, Dave. But, everyone just called him Technoblade or Techno. For what reason, nobody knows.

"Do you really have to sneak up on me like that?" Clay spoke slowly as he recovered over the scare he received. The tone would be gone in a few minutes it just takes a bit to calm down. "Sneak up on you? I was stomping my way over here past all these children and was even told to calm my energy down. So in regards to me sneaking up on you, that is physically impossible." Clay looked at the other in disbelief. Techno stared back at him with a straight-faced look. Then Clay shook his head, wrapping his arm around George's shoulders.

The fact was; George helped Clay calm down faster than he would on his own.

He wasn't shy like he was around people he doesn't know. Regardless of who scares him, he will still go into a paling state of shock. "So, back to the topic. Who is the curly brown-haired guy in the corner talking to Fundy?" George looked to see where Techno had pointed briefly at. He now knew the name of the male he was talking to.

"That would be Eret, he's a very sweet guy. He may look like a soft bean on the outside but he's a very scary person on the inside. If you don't wanna deal with Sap or Karl you go over by them." A smile was evident on George's face as he looked at the two talking. Again, he was happy that he made a new friend. He was obviously joking around about him being a scary person -to which he was not- he was a bean through and through. Though Sapnap and Karl had some stupid drama with him. It's not something anyone would want to get into. "Scary you say?" Techno mused as made direct eye contact with George. He nodded his head slowly, "Yep, he is pretty scary. Go talk with him and find out how scary he is." Without another word, Techno marched across the room to Eret and Fundy. George looked up and Clay, giving him a giggly smile before grabbing his hand. "Eret is a bean. We better hide from the Blade before he runs off to find Tommy." With a quick movement of the legs and a pull of the hand, they were moving away from whatever situation was unfolding behind them.

"Where are we going?" Clay whispered as he was pulled out of the living room. George pulled him into the kitchen, rounding the corner. To his surprise, there were four people on the ground holding the only bags of chips they had in the house. They stared at George and Clay before slowly handing the bags over to a scrunched-up male with a black and white sweatshirt and a pair of half red, half green sunglasses. "Nothing to see here... Move along." He said, with a surprising grown-upish tone of voice. "But this is my house-" George almost finished that sentence before he was cut off. The scrunched-up male got up onto his feet. George could feel his neck crack as he looked up.

"Ranboo... don't scare Gogy." The voice of a short person tried to reach the tall man.

George was lowkey and highkey, lowkey scared of the taller male who was standing in front of him. "Um...um... C-Clay and I are just gonna go."

"Yeah. You better."

"Yeah...." At that time George was pushing Clay away from the kitchen.

"And don't look back either." He could hear the tall man give a dark evil, but over-exaggerated laugh.

Tubbo, the short person who tried to speak to the taller male was the one who invited him over. Tubbo had forgotten all about the plans they had made hours prior and was going to have a sleepover with a different person. Not wanting to ruin their night, George asked his mom if he could have the extra guest over. Since George was a grade older than Tubbo, he never gets to see him. Which means that the guy Tubbo came with, George had never met in his life.

"Where are we going to go next? We can't go to the bedrooms those are off-limits during sleepovers. Only one person in the bathrooms at a time, and Techno will soon come for us." Looking around George had spotted the hall closet that held all the pillows and blankets. "In there." As if he was in a trance he walked over to the closet and pulled it open. Clay looked at George with a concerned look, "Are we both going to fit in there?" The older nodded before pulling him into the small closet, then slowly shut the door behind them. There were little slits in the top part of the door making it easy to tell who passes by. It was angled down so they couldn't see very much of anything in the almost dark space. "He's going to find us," Clay whispered, leaning back against the white painted wall. George could see Clay through the lines that the door made. 'He probably will, but that only makes it more fun. If he does find us make him touch you, then touch me. I'll touch him and yell, 'Tag your it, no backs.' Run like he'll after that. Meet me outside after that, then we will officially lose him."

Clay agreed with a slow nod. There was enough space in the closet for the both of them. But, that didn't matter as they both ended up hugging each other anyway. The older had his arms wrapped around the smaller male. It was a warm hug and it was a pleasant one at that.

"Alright, George since you wanted to make a fool out of me come and face me like an adult." Techno's voice could be heard throughout the house. A soft giggle could be heard from Clay, on instinct George's hand flew up to his mouth. "Sush." He pressed his hand against Clay's mouth lightly, but firm. "George, you don't wanna mess with Mr. Blade. I know how to use Kung-fu and I'm not scared of it." George couldn't help but not wanna laugh at that. He brushed his face in Clay's chest, holding a hand against his mouth.

The footsteps got closer and closer to the closet.

George and Clay were too busy silently laughing to even notice that the door was being pulled open.

"Woah, Woah. What are you two doing in here? You can't be fornicating with everybody in the house like this." The two who had got caught laughing in the closet looked over at the open door in shock. In the small doorway stood a black-haired male with an arm lightly draped around a shorter brown-haired male's shoulder. "Nick, you are disgusting, that's not what we were doing." George rolled his eyes, not backing away from the blond male. "Go away we are hiding from Technoblade. We don't wanna get caught." George could see the grins that formed on their faces. Before Sapnap pulled his phone out of his pocket. "We know." On the screen was the 'find my phone app. It was looking for Clay's phone which he had in his sweatshirt. Pink hair came into view behind the two traitors males.

"So, playing 7 minutes in heaven I see." He stepped in between the two, using his hands to gently push them apart like pushing open doors. George backed away from Clay, hoping that he would do his part of the plan.

But instead, he grabbed onto George and handed him over to Techno. "I surrender, please, take him away. Just don't hurt him, I'll go after you if you do." George was shocked.

He just got betrayed again!

From out of his pocket the pink-haired man pulled a rope. He used that rope to tie George's hands behind his back, tightly, but not tight enough to hurt his wrists. "We are going to take him to the kitchen where we are going to lock him up," Techno announced as he began marching. Karl and Sapnap followed behind him, Clay following behind them very confused.

They walked to the kitchen where the same four people were sitting on the floor.

Still snaking on the chips.

"Alright everyone get out of the kitchen. This man here is our under house arrest until I say he can get out." Technoblade walked into the kitchen like he owned it. He looked down at Wilbur with an evil smile. "My servant go get Fundy and Eret. They need to be here for this." Wilbur stood up and gave a deep bow in front of Techno. It wasn't that hard to see that there was a faint hint of amusement. He ran out of the room, and shortly after he pulled the other two in. Techno stood in the center of everyone, pushing George down onto his knees. "George is an evil man. We are locking him up for the rest of the night and if anyone tries to save him then you will be locked up too. He lied to me, he cannot be trusted. If you think that he can, then you can be locked up with him. If you think that he is a good person, go lock yourself up! If you think that he is evil, stay with me and keep this man from escaping." The pink-haired gave his speech about why George should be locked up. Everyone cheered, George still couldn't believe that he was betrayed like that...

Especially by Clay.

They pushed him into the kitchen and placed chairs around him like they locking him in a poison cell.

He was surrounded by chairs, Karl, Wilbur, and Nick. He needed to find a way out of the situation that he was in otherwise he feared that he was never going to get out of it. "Make sure he never gets out," Techno spoke in a commanding tone, glaring at George from the corner of his eyes. George stared back at him with a blank look on his face, watching as his friends nodded their heads.

"So, what do you think he did?" He heard Nick ask in a hushed tone.

"I just said that It was a scary person." He laughed softly resting his head back against the cabinet he was sitting in front of. Nick and Karl looked at each other then turned their heads to George. "We never asked you." Nick spat back, his expression turned to one of anger. "Please, tell me the reason as to why you decided to open your mouth and speak to us like someone allowed you to." Karl slapped Nicks's shoulder, "Don't be mean to him." Karl hissed. Nick rolled his eyes turning his head away from the light brown-haired male. George rolled his head to the side, his eyes followed over the blank ceiling.

It had only been about five minutes and he was already bored. George let out a long groan, "Techno, please let me out of here!" He yelled in the house loosely stuffed with teenage boys. It wasn't long after the pink hair man emerged with a possie behind him. It was a surprise to see him in a royal-looking outfit, a flowing red cape was pulled behind him and a golden crown was set on his pink hair. "What do you want you peasant?" The chairs were pushed aside, as to let Techno stand in the opening. "I'm bored, please let me out!" George begged, moving slowly onto his knees and lying prostrate before the commanding man. "Please. I am going to die here."

"I... Son, I don't think you're going to die. You're just going to look like a fool." George looked up to see his mom walking past him, grabbing a cup from the cupboard and getting something to drink. Everyone started laughing, including George. But, he saw this opportunity and he was gonna take it. Standing up he took a step forward, only to have a force push him back. His eyes clenched together tightly. He felt his restraints get pulled off and his body began to feel light. A cool wrap of air surrounded him. Slowly, he opened his eyes to see... Not who he was expecting. "Tommy?"

But, Tommy didn't say a word back.

He just awkwardly held onto George like his life depended on it.

There was a quietness that came from the room he had been in.

"Get 'em, boys!" Technoblade yelled. "Shit," Tommy muttered underneath his breath in distress. He set George onto his feet and grabbed his wrist, "Run, run like your fucking life depends on it. I don't want to be dragged into this more." He yelled as he pulled the older male out of the front door, into the darkness of the night.

It was scary and dark.

Not to mention creepy.

The situation was not to mention an odd one.

He could get kidnapped or killed, or... Something even worse.

Murdered.

Pulling his hand away from the tight grip, he stopped running when they got away from the light of the house. They could hear the footsteps of the others who were chasing after them getting closer and closer. "Run Tommy, get out of here. I will be just fine on my own." Tommy nodded, quickly sprinting off somewhere into the backyard. George ran alongside the house, hiding behind the bushes. The posse of teenagers walked around the backyard looking for Tommy and George. You could hear anything that they said when they passed by, so the conclusion was pretty self-explanatory.

"Where could he be?!" Techno's yell could have been heard all the way down the block if he had yelled any louder. Footsteps were heard in the opposite direction of the group he was in. "Where would who be?" From inside of the bushes George could see a figure dressed in clothes almost like techno's but less regal and more rugged looking. He had this mask over his face that had a huge smile on it. The pink-haired male spun around and walked to the masked one, "And who have we here?" He asked suspiciously, holding a stick to the man's chest as a way to scare him off. George would have been scared if he didn't know who Dave was and he just walked up to him like a crazy person. That would have been the only way.

The man leaned forward, "Someone who you don't wanna mess with... Pinky." There was evidence of cockyness in the masked man's voice. It was funny how someone could say something that is meant to scare someone off but ultimately it ends up doing the opposite and they come at them with force instead.

"Pinky!? Who are you calling pinky, green boy." George couldn't have wanted to laugh more in his life than now.

There was a snapping noise.

Out from the trees came three people, they were kinda dressed differently but in all likeness the same. The shortest one had on a white shirt, black pants, and a crown. The tallest one had a crown, a suit, and a pair of red and green glasses on. Then finally, the middle one had on a white dress shirt, a red tie, and a pair of bright baby blue dress slacks on. He was really standing on there. They all had some type of face-covering so it was hard to tell who was who, and George didn't really wanna figure out if they were both 'team bad guys'. Though, he could tell that the really tall guy is the same guy who was standing in front of him when he was in the kitchen.

The real question though is, where do they keep getting all of these crowns from!? Do they just have a stash buried somewhere in the neighborhood so when they need one they can just go dig it up?

"Leave the big man alone." The teenager in the bright blue pants spoke up.

George knew who that teenager was.

The second real question is, where do they get these costumes from!? They came over to George's house without them, and now they have them? Did they plan this whole thing without George knowing it again?!

"Don't speak to me like that you peasant. My status is higher than yours and I am older than you. So, don't talk to me like you own the place you three-year-old." Techno growled, pointing a finger at the male who said that.

Both sides were really enjoying the name-calling, it seemed like.

It wasn't until George was pulled out of the bushes that he was really apart of anytning. "Look what we have here." George snapped his head towards the voice. Everyone looked at George with either looks of surprise or evil ones. He was pushed into a crossfire between the Techno and the masked man. Being immediately pulled into the masked man's arms, who he immediately pushed away from out of pure shock. "Okay, okay, okay! I get that you." He turned around and pointed at Techno, "I get that you're mad at me, but I don't wanna be dragged around. I don't wanna be pulled into the arms of someone who I'm not comfortable with." He hugged himself, before speed walking back into the house. Karl chased after him in a heartbeat, kinda worried about his best friend.

When everyone could hear the door shut, the masked man pulled his mask off. "He...He's not comfortable with me?" The amount of hurt in the person's voice could be obvious to anyone, even people who didn't know him at all.

"Maybe we did go a bit overboard with this whole idea," Wilbur spoke up, coming to stand next to Techno. Who looked over at him, thinking about it for a second. He turned his head to look at the unmasked male. "Maybe we did. Maybe we didn't. I think that he was confused. When you grabbed him I think he didn't know who you were. It only makes it logical that way. He called me Techno, he didn't even turn to look at you and he didn't even call you by your name. I think-no, I know he didn't know who you are." That made the unmasked teenager feel much better about the situation.

Going inside the house to George, he was sitting on his bed slouched with his arms crossed against his stomach. He wanted to just have a normal sleepover for once and not some reanimated play that they come up with in seconds. There was a knock on the door frame that made George look at the once empty spot. Karl stood in the doorway with a happy smirk on his face "What?" Geroge asked in a soft tone, not really wanting to be bothered by him at the moment when he wasn't even in a good mood anymore. "You know what. George, you end up hurting someone's feelings every time you act like this." Karl walked over to him and sat down on the edge of the bed. "You know that." It was true every time he overreacted someone had their feelings hurt for dumb reasons. "I do know that. But I don't like how it's every single sleepover. I don't wanna be the princess every single time. I don't want it to be Dave to be the villain or some random person to just grab me and hold me like I belong to them. I don't like it. I just want to have a normal sleepover once in a while where he plays cards, be in the same room, or plays board games. I don't wanna ruin the party, I just wanna do something different..."

Karl wrapped his arms around George and smiled, "Then we can do something different, I don't think the guys would disagree." He giggled softly, before resting his head on the olders shoulder.

"I don't think we would disagree at all." Karl and George looked at the doorway to see it filled with everyone who was here standing in a group huddled together. "Yeah, I would love to play board games than go outside." Tubbo stepped into the room, being followed by the tall male who scared George, but he wasn't as scary to him anymore seeing as he was silent and followed the smaller and older male. George gave them a small smile, "Me too..." Looking at the two, it was reminding him of Clay... Wait, speaking of him, where is he?! Standing up George walked over to the doorway and looked around at the group. "Where is Clay?" He turned around to look at Nick, hoping that he would give him an answer.

"He's outside." Eret's deep voice cut through the worry in George's mind. He turned on his heel and ran down the steps, running out the front door. He was worried about his best friend, and since he wasn't there. He figured that he was the one that he ended up hurting in the process.

"Clay?"

George's voice was drowned out by a loud crack of thumber, that ripped through the sky without warning. It scared him and it was definitely going to have scared Clay. "Clay!!" George yelled loudly, closing the door to the house. It wasn't even a second later, hard footsteps came pounding down the porch. George turned around to see a hyperventilating Clay, out of breath, in front of him. Slowly, George stepped forward, his short footsteps got faster and faster until he reached him. He noticed the outfit, he noticed the look on Clay's face, and he noticed the mask. The mask of the person who he yelled at, who he said he was uncomfortable with being held so close to. The person who he hurt. George placed his hands on Clay's cheeks and looked up at him, "I'm here." He whispered softly, before pulling off the sweatshirt that Clay had given him a few days prior. George put the sweatshirt over his shoulder, he pulled off the cape Clay had been wearing, taking the plastic crown and pushing it off of his head. George buttoned up the unbuttoned buttons on the younger male's shirt. "You're a mess," George whispered softly, ruffling up the head of dirty blond hair. "I don't mind it though, I love you just the way you are even if I do have to take care of you sometimes. I do admit, it's nice." George pulled the sweatshirt over Clay's shoulders, it was a little bit big on him. Meaning it was much bigger on George.

Who said being a football player meant that they had to wear tight-fitting clothing and be the dumbest person in the room? Nobody did.

So, what if he likes things to be a little bigger when he is feeling like shit. His best friend sure as hell didn't care at all, he just loved him more for it. Seeing as it was frankly adorable and scary at the same time. "I'm glad we are best friends."

"Me too, Clay, me too."

The moment was cut off by another loud thunder that cut through the sky without warning. Clay wrapped his arms around George, tightly. He could feel his body start to shake, he could hear the soft whimpers his vocals made. He felt like crap knowing that he couldn't do anything more than just sit by and watch him suffer from everything that scares him, that overwhelms him. He's a teenager.

They either smoke or they don't.

They either have sex and ruin their lives at young ages or don't.

They either do drugs or they don't.

There is no in-between or leeway in any of those situations. They are not right situations, but people who are like him end up doing just that. To try and forget the pain that they feel, to forget emotions that they don't want. It's not the correct way to deal with the pain that they are feeling and they know that, yet they still do it.

George was very happy that Clay did not and he would keep it that way no matter what.

The rain started a few seconds after the thunder, and it came down hard. George walked backward to the door and pulled it open, "Go inside and change your clothes, I'll be right in to do the same." The younger male slowly stepped inside, the door was closed behind him. Looking at the cape and the crown that laid on the ground, George walked over to them and picked them up, and dusted them off. Then he walked inside.

"I swear, when is the platonic wedding?" Nick said with a smug tone of voice, George smiled softly and shook his head, "Clay is going to have a rough night with the rain as it is, I don't think a wedding would be propper. There is not going to be one." The older one walked past them. "But, nothing is better than getting married to your best friend in a platonic way? In twenty years if he does ask me to get married to him in a platonic way, I'd say yes as much as I would say yes now." George could hear Karl mock him playfully in a tone of voice that was trying to resemble his. He couldn't help but hold in a laugh. "I heard that!"

He pushed the bedroom door open to reveal a shirtless male standing in front of him... He did have a nice body.

But, George preferred his personality over his body any day.

"Hey Lime, are you finding your stuff alright? Do you need anything?" He stepped into the room and closed the door behind him, dropping the things next to the wastebasket behind the door. It wouldn't get stepped on that way. Clay turned his head and looked back at him, "I... Don't t-think I need anything." He was nervous about something, which was most likely from the rain that was receiving. Clay pulled on one of the many shirts George had of Clay's neatly folded up in his drawer. "I wish it didn't have to rain tonight..." The older complained, closing his eyes and lying like a starfish on his bed. Moments -minutes later- he opened his eyes to see that Clay was done getting dressed and that it was time to get up again. He was wearing sweatpants and the sweatshirt that George gave back to him.

"I told the guys it was going to be a rough night for you. You can sleep by me if you want to. I don't mind. I just don't wanna wake up with your face in my face or something scary like that." George laughed as he got up out of the bed and walked to the closet and pulled out a soft pink sweatshirt. "Yeah, that would be awkward," Clay said softly back to him, with a small laugh.

"Well, let's get going downstairs." George smiled softly and looked up at the taller male. He turned on his heels, walking towards his door with the smile still resting on his face. Clay followed him, practically stuck to him but the arms of his sweatshirt.

"Aww look at you too." They both looked over to see George's and Karl's younger sisters standing in the hallway. "I know, we are the cutest color of bro's in the world." They laughed, George pulled on his hand, guiding him down the steps into the living room where the guys had moved the coffee table and already begun to play cards... Not just any cards.

Cards Against Humanity.

(A/n: I love that game!!)

"You guys are really gross." George pointed out after getting close enough to be able to read some of the cards. "We are going to play Life, we were just waiting for you and Clay to get back from the room" Tubbo changed the topic of the sentence from the disgusting cards to a game that everyone could play without being too disgusted with some of the things people could put.

They put the card game away and brought out the game of Life.

Setting up the board game, they huddled around the small table. Clay decided that since it was raining out that he wouldn't play, just so that the game could keep going without him. But he kinda played with George in the decision making aspect of the game. They were the one of the three pairs actually playing as pairs in the game together though. There was, 11 of them playing and 6 cars, so they took dimes and penny's and other things that you could set stuff on and use them as board markers. As they were playing the rain started to poor harder and harder down on the roof. The thunder decided that it would stay away for the time being but, it could show up at any minuet. The harder the rain got, the more people came into the room. George's mom came downstairs and turned on the TV, making sure that everyone was going to be okay and making sure there was going to be no Tornados. Caroline and Anna, George's sister, came downstairs and joined in all the 'caotic fun' the boys were having.

"There has been unexpected heavy rain that has come in from the south. It should pass over in two hours. No reports of Tornados have been passed through from any of the weather stations to us." Play in the background, being watched by his mother, Caroline, and Anna.

Technoblade and Wilbur jumped up bro hugging eachother, "We won ladies!" The brown haired of the two yelled, earning looks from the actual ladies in the room. -Not that they actually cared.- He covered his mouth and sat down quietly, "Sorry...Sorry." He whispered. The boys started laughing at the Wilburs antics.

After the laughter died down, every thing was quiet. It was about 9 o'clock at night. The rain had started about 8. "I think we should start getting pajamas on if you are not already in them. I don't have any problems with you guys staying up like you normally do, but I will be down here and so will the girls. I want things to be appropriate, and don't be super loud because I have to be able to hear the rain outside and the television." Everyone nodded, the people who had to change got up and walked to the bathrooms, already knowing where they were from pervious sleepovers.

Thunder ripped through the house.

From behind Clay hugged onto George, who sat there comfortably as he was being squeezed. "Its... okay." He whispered to the male behind him. The sound of a very obnoxious phone went off.

"Hello? Mom?"

It was Eret.

"Yes, I'm in George's house.

I get it your worried.

We will be safe I promise.

Yes, Fundy is here with me too.

Okay, I promise. Everyone will be safe. You and dad be safe too. Love you.

Yep.

Love you."

Eret hung up the phone, and sighed. "I don't think that the storm is only going to be 2 hours Mrs. Davidson." Both Eret and Fundy exchanged looks of worry. George's mom sat there for a little bit thinking, "George... oh, nevermind your dealing with Clay. Anna and Caroline will you come with me to get the lanterns and flashlights?" Both of the girls followed his mom out of the room, whispering to eachother. The room stayed silent, Clay's grip on George was just as tight as before. "Clay, you know you don't have to hold onto me that tight. I'm not going to leave." George placed his hands on Clay's arms, trying to get him to losen up a bit. Which worked, the dirty blond haired male did let his grip fall, his hands traveled over George's arms in a calming motion. George watched Clay's slim and shaking fingers expand and retract, which lined up with his breathing.

It was making George sleepy.

"You too really are great bestfriends?" For the first time the light brown haired male in the orange sweatshirt spoke. George held back the urge to giggle, instead he smiled, "Yeah, we are the best of best friends." He hummed out in a melodic tone. That was soft and airy. He rested his head back, laying it on Clay's shoulder.

"Eret and I are close, we have been friends since we were 4 years old. Our parent's disliked eachother- My parent's hated his parent's, for what reason? I don't know. But his parents had the hearts of angel's. They still allowed me to go see him because I didn't make friends with anyone else. They didn't want me to become a loner." George laughed softly, moving his head to Clay's different shoulder as to not deaf him. The sound was like music to Clay's ears actually. "Didn't matter much though, Eret is really the only friend I have."

Moving back a little bit, George lifted his head up and leaned his back against Clay's chest. "I'd be your friend. You can hang out with us, Eret should know he is welcome. He always has been."

As stated before, there is beef between Karl and Nick, with Eret. George didn't wanna know anything about it, he avoided it and avoided everyone that was dealing in it. He didn't know what anyone did and he doesn't care to know. "I know, there was fighting. But, it's over. I never picked sides and I don't wanna heat about it. Mind me for being naive, but no matter what, I always pick amazing friends." The dark brown haired paused shortly. "Fundy, you and Eret should start eating lunch with us. It would be a nice and refreshing change for you and for us..." Clay noticed the way that George rattled on about Fundy, he had been distracted with that to not notice his hands stopped shaking. George noticed.

"I'd love that!" Fundy had a very happy smile form on his face, as he looked at Eret with excitement filled eyes.

Nick, who had been sitting silently on the couch was kinda angry with George. He got up and walked to George's and Karl's bedroom. He knocked on the door, the door was pulled open revealing... Techno and Wilbur.

He didn't think to much of it as those too idiots had forgotten Pj's and there was a small bathroom that was connected to the room. "Wrong room." He closed the door.

He walked to bathroom door and knocked on it. The door was pulled open to reveal Ranboo brushing his teeth, "Sorry, do you need to use the bathroom?" Nick shook his head and backed away from fhe door. "Wrong room."

The world around him was getting blurry.

Moving as fast as he could without running he made his way down the steps. Turning the opposite direction away from the kitchen he made his way to the last place Karl could possibly be changing. He knocked on the door.

"I'm brushing my teeth."

That was not Karl.

He felt like he was going to be sick.

Pulling his phone out of his sweatpants pocket, before turning around and pressing his back against the wall. He went to his messaging app and pressed on the contact, 'Alexis🥳🕴' His fingers moved quickly on what he was typing, almost hitting the send button when his phone vibrated.

Hey, Handsome what has you so all in a tizzy?

Everything stopped. Nick let out a sigh of relief and sunk to the ground.

Panda💩

KARL WHERE ARE YOU?!

PaintedNails💅👼

You didn't answer my question.

What has you all worried?

Panda💩

I WANNA KNOW WHERE YOU ARE! TELL ME. I HAVE A RIGHT TO KNOW WHERE YOU ARE!

PaintedNails💅👼

Again? Just answer my question.

Why are you worried?

It was obvious by the faces Nick was making that he was getting frustrated. He looked up at the ceiling, facing his phone away from him. A few minuets went by until he looked at his phone again.

Panda💩

Your actually going to make me cry.

I just wanna know where you are.

I wanna cuddle.🥺

PaintedNails💅👼

I- so I'm making you worry?

A small smile graced Nicks's cute features. Followed by an eye roll.

Panda💩

If I say yes will you give me a kiss?

This time it was Karl's turn to hold in one of his soft giggles.

PaintedNails💅👼

You don't have to say yes. I've been on the couch since Ranboo opened the bathroom door for you upstairs. Get over here. I want a kiss. 🥰🤗👅💦

A very shocked face was present on Nick's features as he looked up to see a giggling Karl laying back on the couch. George, Clay, Eret, and Fundy looked over at him more than confused.

Nick got up and practically tackled Karl, running his hands all over his torso as payback. "Your a pain." Karl laughed loudly, pushing his hands away. He reached up and pulled his head down, "You love it though." Their lips were less than a centimeter apart, noses pressed together, and so was their foreheads.

Fundy covered his mouth, while George smiled and Clay rolled his emerald green eyes

But they didn't kiss.

They turned away and laughed.

Truth be told, they have never kissed eachother. Not because they didn't want to. Because they were just bestfriends.

Nobody noticed that Caroline and Anna had made there way into the livingroom holding extra blankets and pillows. Everyone was so focused on Karl and Nick that they didn't notice the other female that walked into the room a few minuets behind them.

"YOU WOULD NOT BELIEVE YOUR EYES!! IF TEN MILLION FIREFLIES, LIT UP THE WORLD AS I KICKED YOUR ASS NICK!!" Everyone in the room froze as they turned to a very happy-looking George's mom, holding a bag of flashlights and lanterns.
