[TW: Swearing, Anxiety, Crossdressing, Bullying, Homophobic Slurs, Light sprinkle of Panic Attacks, Creepiness, and Harrasment]
It wasn't as bad as Clay thought it would be. He thought that there would be chaos surrounding George after the death of his grandma. It confused Clay a little bit too much for his mind to handle. Thinking back on it, when they were alone they acted crazy together. With that being said, the blond-haired male was sitting in a chair in his bedroom pondering his existence. He forgot to tell George something and with the information that he had... Well, it would make the older surprised, yes. But it might also make in a little ashamed.
Not that what he has to tell him is a big deal or anything and could make him lose... Anything. This didn't have anything to do with what he was good at. Nope.
It was a Monday, almost 6 o'clock in the morning to be exact. Thoughts were running through Clay's mind like a hurricane. He didn't know what to think of things anymore and he wasn't going to think about it that hard. There no point in doing that when he had all his life to think about it.
The sun was shining through the curtains that hung from his window. It was a sign that he had to get up and get ready for school. Not that he was excited about going to school. People, ugh. Clay was shy around people, other than the ones that he knew. He couldn't help it, that's just the way that he was. He hated being touched by people, jumped on by people, talking to, talked about, talked behind, laughed about, bullies, confronting, confessing, pushed around, having to hide how he felt, fake people, bossy people, loud people, brats, and most of all.
People.
People are just not something he wants to deal with.
Except for his friends.
He loved his friends.
There was an act that he has to put up every day that he goes to school. He has to act like this guy who everyone knows and likes. This popular guy who loves attention and all the people. An act where he lives in the spotlight and high school fame. He can't do anything bad, he can't show weakness, he can't say about his feelings. He can't be shy around people, he can't be himself around people. His whole high school career is based on an ongoing lie that he has been telling to everyone.
The blond-haired male has been put up on a pedestal that he can't come down from.
So, he did the next best thing to get him down from that pedestal.
Clay got up from his bed and went to take a shower. After he was done he walked into his bedroom and put on clothes. A simple pair of grey sweatpants and a forest green hoodie. He packed up his school bag and grabbed his phone.
At that time it was almost 6:40.
He walked downstairs to see his mom sitting at the kitchen counter. "Hey, Clay babes..." She looked at the boy with sad eyes. Then looked down, Clay walked over to his mother and wrapped his arms around her.
Over the past couple of days, the drinking that his mom had been doing was decreasing at a fast rate. She wasn't home drunk off her tailor surrounded by a blockade of liquor bottles. Clay was happy that she was getting better. He was glad that he talked to her.
"Mom, what wrong?" He asked her.
"For your 18th birthday, your father wanted to buy you a car. But you know the time between then and now went he died. I don't have the money to buy you a car right now."
Clay couldn't help to smile and then let out a small laugh. "Mom, you think that I would be saddened by this? Your car is just fine and the others don't mind picking me up. You don't need to buy me one."
She sighed, "Well... I know my car is nice but it would be nice to have your own, wouldn't it?"
"It would be nice, yes, but I'll buy myself one in the future. Don't worry about that anymore." There was a loud honking noise that came from the driveway. Clay have his mom a kiss on the cheek and ran to the door. "Bye, mom!! Love you!"
After she heard the don't close she placed her hands in the palm of her hands.
"Oh Clay... I'm sorry."
----------
Nick came to pick up Clay from his house. That was like a normal thing that he did, if he didn't get a text from Clay saying that his mom is bringing him to school that is.
It was the alone time that was needed between the two to talk. That way they couldn't be interrupted in their manly conversations.
"So..." Clay started, Nick quickly glanced over at him then looked back at the road.
"You and Karl are a thing?" A small laugh erupted from Sapnap's lips as he smiled. "No, we are just good friends like you and Georgette. Unless... Your more than friends with George." Sap looked at Clay out of the corner of his eyes.
Clay shook his head, "No, we are just friends."
"Mhmm... And Karl said that you and Geroge call each other babe. Even so, his mom bought you two condoms." Clay looked over at Sapnap and giggled. He forgot that they tell each other everything. "Yeah, I and Gogy do that. But we are just joking and yes, she did buy us a pack of condoms. Why would we need to use them though? George and I are not like that and you know who I like."
Nick smirked, "Yet you took a shower with George."
Clay was speechless. There was no way that he could retort to that. He turned his head and looked out the window and watched as the world flew by him. Then it hit him.
Nick started to laugh, "I got you. You are a little simp for Gogy-".
" Says the one who actually did his best friend in the shower. At least we closed our eyes and didn't touch each other." It was Clay's turn to smirk. He watched as Sapnaps face slowly began to fill with color.
"I- It- how?... I mean- W-we never."
The younger blond rose an eyebrow at the raven-haired boy's stutter.
"Are we going to keep talking about this?" Clay mused and watched as Nick shook his head.
After that the car ride was silent. Sap didn't wanna say anything. He just wanted to not look like a strawberry shortcake wanna be before he got to school.
The raven-haired boy pulled into the school parking lot and parked the car. "But in all general, how is George doing?" Sap asked with a concerned tone of voice. Clay looked over at him, "I think he is doing worse than what he seems to be doing. This was his grandma after all."
They got out of the car and walked to the door of the school. Clay could feel eyes on him. It felt like every single morning to him. He walked to his locker followed by Sapnap, but he soon went his way towards -what Clay presumed as- Karls locker. Clay opened up his locker and saw a little pink note. He put his backpack onto the ground and grabbed the note. When he opened up the note a photo of George fell out.
I know you don't know who I am.
But, I think you are really cute.
You have adorable fluffy hair.
Your eyes are really pretty and I love it when you stare.
I wonder what you look like underneath the clothes that you wear.
The note kinda creeped him out, but this wasn't the first time he has received a weird like this. But having this note and a picture of George -who mind you, doesn't even look like he knows the photo is being taken- was weird to get. Clay took it back. It was full-on creepy.
I wonder what you look like underneath the clothes you wear.
A shiver ran down Clay's spine as he read over that line. In a small disgusted yet controlled form of rage, he crumbled up that pair of paper and put it in his hoodie pocket. He took the photo of George and put it in his phone case.
He wondered if he should tell George about this.
He looked at the black screen in his hand.
It was funny... Clay had a phone, he carried it around like a baby, he feeds it power, and yet he barely used it.
He put his phone in his hoodie pocket and closed his locked door without putting anything in it. He picked up his backpack and walked to Karls locker.
When he got there, he saw more people than normal standing around the locker. It was almost scary to the blond-haired male. He looked around the group quickly before he spotted the short male standing along the side. At a quick pace, Clay walked around the group earning looks from his friends. He smiled at them, but he looked scared.
His steps didn't falter as he reaches George and wrapped his arms around his torso, giving the older male a back hug. It wasn't Clay's day to began with and now he has to deal with more people.
Gross.
He bruised his face in the crane of Georges's neck. He could feel as George tensed up at his touch."Clay?" He could hear George whisper in a questioning tone. Clay hummed back. He could feel as George relaxed against him.
"And so yesterday Tubbo was like, 'Oh she's pretty. But, her boobs are way too big.' And normally I wouldn't let that slide. But, she was a skinny lady, and my god they had to have been in a range of double fs." Clay briefly glanced up at the tall boy who was talking about boobs for just a second before he placed his face back where it belonged in Georges's neck.
"Do you think it was plastic surgery?" Clay recognized that as Tommy's voice.
"Honestly... I don't know and this isn't a topic I feel comfortable talking about. Because I don't like body shaming anyone. Not that I would, I just don't wanna talk behind their back. You never know their story." Ranboo backed up and leaned against the lockers.
"The big man isn't like me. He can't bully people. He's too nice to do that.".
"I think I'd take that as a good thing, Tubbo." A deeper voice cut into the conversation. Clay recognized the voice but he didn't know the name of the person. Oh, wait he did know the name of the person.
"I personally, think that Ranboo's demeanor is quite charming." It was Eret. "I don't know Ranboo that well, as I only just met him a few weeks ago. But he is really nice." Clay pinched Georges's side. George rolled his eyes, "Also the piss baby behind me is being a moody boy and wants everyone to know that he is now jealous." George picked up his foot and lightly stepped on Clay's shoe.
Clay squeezed George tighter. "Not funny." The blond whispered against the brown-haired male's neck. George felt a shiver run down his spine.
"Eret, I told you."
"Fundy, I'm not going to believe that they are right."
"Well, if I said it would you believe me?"
"No, now be quiet that tactic will not work on me."
"It's true. I told you Amelia was dating Nick." Fundy pointed behind Clay and George. Clay let go of George and turned around. When he looked at the girl his heart broke. It was Amelia.
"I swear to god if someone comes up to me and asks if we are dating. I am going to hit them." Sapnap said with a disgusted voice.
Clay felt as if he could cry.
Amelia looked over and made eye contact with Clay. She gave him a bright smile and waved at him. But he didn't have it in him to wave back. He turned around and looked at George, who was looking up at him. "Oh shit." He heard Sapnap whisper. Clay wrapped his arms back around George.
"What happened to him?" Tommy whispered, which wasn't even a whisper. He whispered that to Tubbo, "I... I don't know." Tubbo became concerned for his elder. George ran his hands up and down Clay's back in a soothing manner. Before he hugged him tightly.
Clay's head was spinning and at this point, he didn't care about his "popular guy" role. Clay didn't start crying or anything, but he felt like he could. George did not know what to do in a situation like this because nothing like this has ever happened.
"Hey, George is he okay?" The bittersweet taste of a female's voice made Clay tense up.
In not wanting to be here Ranboo grabbed into Tubbos arm. When Tubbo looked up at ghe tall tall man, Ranboo pointed over to Tommy. Tubbo grabbed onto Tommy and the three of them left.
George looked at Amelia, he broke the hug with Clay. He didn't wanna be snide about anything. "It's not his day... How are you and your boyfriend doing?" George responded.
Eret turned Fundy around so that he wasn't looking at the trio talking. "You should start heading to class Funds. I'll be in there in a little bit." Eret whispered to him. A small pout formed on Fundys lips. He wanted to stay and watch how this all panned out. "Your eyes are not going to work on me and you know that." Eret gave Fundy a small smile. "Fine, I'll go to class." The lighter brown-haired male walked around Eret before he turned around and pressed his forehead into the taller male's back. "I was waiting for that." There was this soft high pitched giggle that came from Fundy. Eret could have practically melted it was so cute. The older male turned around and cupped his hands around the younger male's face. Fundy stood up onto his toes and Eret leaned down. They pressed their foreheads together and closed their eyes. Once they broke apart Fundy smiled at Eret, "I feel refreshed now." The male happily walked to class. Eret turned away and covered his face as he hides the light warmth that accumulated in his cheeks.
Amelia looked at George, "Georgie are you talking about yourself? Did you ask me the other day if you could go out with me?" She swayed on one hip acting like she was all innocent.
Before George felt a hard force slap against his cheek. From the force, he stumbled back a little bit, but he looked down at the ground without a word. "That was uncalled for," Karl spoke up in a worried voice before he went to go aid George.
Clay looked at George in horror.
George regained his balance, "Amelia, what are you talking about? I never asked you out or anything." George wanted to stay calm but he just... He had to stay calm. Karl watched as a fire burned behind the male's brown eyes.
Amelia smirked as she walked behind Clay and almost wrapped her arms around him when she turned around and stepped backward. "Don't touch me. I don't want to talk to you ever again and stay away from George." Clay was angry, you could tell from the teeth that seeped into his voice like a wolf trying to snap at you.
Eret walked closer to the two just in case Clay got a dumb idea. He didn't know what he would do if someone up and randomly hit Fundy like that.
George gathered his things and started to walk to class.
Amelia took a step back not expecting it. Her eyes became glassy and she ran off like a sad little dog.
When Clay turned around he expected to see George. But instead, he saw Karl, Nick, and Eret. Clay never said sorry for what he let happen. He felt bad, he felt so bad.
Both George and Clay knew it was going to be a bad day.
----------
George got to lunch, and he hadn't talked to Clay since this morning. He knew that he should talk to the blond, but he just didn't know when. He didn't want Clay to get all emotional breakdowns on him while they were at school. He didn't know if he could deal with Clay's emotions and his at the same time.
George went through the lunch line and he sat down at the table he normally sat at. Once he sat down he started to eat his food.
Nothing like school food to quench your appetite. Right?
The school lunch consisted of a sub sandwich, chips, a cookie, apples, and milk. George got through the chips and the cookie before some of the members of the basketball team walked up to him and sat around him. "So I heard you fucked Amelia good. But I doubt it was really good, she can walk." George about threw up his food. He began coughing, what the hell?!
He kept his head down, "I never touched her. I don't know where you heard that from but whomever you did tell them that they shouldn't make up dumb rumors." George didn't feel hungry anymore. He felt as if he could be sick at any moment. The feeling was rising in his gut like a snake sliding up his throat. "And now you're lying about it?" One of the players started laughing which made them all laugh. "Your honest to god pathetic. No wonder you made your boy toy quit the football team."
This confused George, "Boy toy? Quit the football team? What?" He looked up at the basketball player who was closest to him. The basketball player smiled smugly, " How should I say this without sounding like I give two shits about your homo ass? Clay, you know your homo lover he quit the football team." George got up onto his feet and ran to the garbage can.
Long story short you don't wanna know what he did. But I am going to tell you anyway. He threw up.
George felt sick to his stomach, he and Clay are straight. They are not lovers and Clay is certainly not George's boy toy. The basketball team followed him over to the garbage can. George felt a wet feeling on the top of his head. "Oops, I didn't mean to dump it on you."
George bit his lip and clamped his mouth shut. He ran away from the boys, he could hear the boys laugh at him. He felt disgusting for something that he didn't even do. George felt like he was going to be sick. He ran out of the cafeteria as fast as he could.
He turned around to look to see if he was being followed when collided with someone. The person was strong since they barely even moved. George in a panic took a step back and looks up at the person. It was Nick, not Sapnap Nick. Nick the one who was with Amelia. "I'm sorry." He briefly apologized before walking around the taller male.
"Hey, George do you need a change of clothes?" George froze, was Nick talking to him? Well, yeah he was because he said his name. Then again it could be a joke. George starting running away again. It was at times like this he didn't wanna exist in life. When he got to the bathroom he looked in the mirror. There were strands of white on his head and his face, dark spots had formed on his shirt. He turned on the sink and leaned down. George felt so awkward to be in this position.
As he washed his hair he thanked whoever was up in the sky. There was in no way shape or form that he would even wanna be seen in a school bathroom washing milk off himself.
But, there was this pit in the center of his stomach that made him feel as if he shouldn't be at school. After he cleaned up his shirt a bit he walked out of the bathroom with a sick look on his face. He started to feel light-headed, the last thing, or rather a person was a brown-haired girl before he fell to the floor.
----------
The sound of beeping surrounded Georges's ears. When his vision came into focus, he saw that he was in the hospital again. Why was he in the hospital?! He could feel his heart begin to race with worry. The machine beside him started to beep harder. George could feel sweat start to form on his skin. "Why am I here? Why am I here?!" He started to ask himself over and over again.
A doctor and a nurse ran into the room. "He's awake." The noise snapped him out of whatever trance-like state he was in. George looked over at the doctor and then the nurse. "George, I need you to take a deep breath for me and calm down." The doctor said to George in a calming tone of voice. "In and out. You need to relax." George closed his eyes and took in a deep breath and then let a deep breath out. The beeping of the machine began to slow down from the pace it had been going.
The door to the hospital room opened to reveal George's mother. "Is my son okay?!" George looked at her with a small smile that faded into a sad resting face. "Ma'am he is just fine. But he collapsed again today." George now knew why he was disoriented after he woke up. He has fainted again. But how is that connected to him being 'just fine?' Fainting shouldn't be a normal thing to happen to a perfectly healthy young man. As to which this had only happened once before.
These were some of the same questions asked the last time he had fainted too.
"Doctor, why does he keep fainting?" Georges's mom asked as she walked into the room. The doctor walked over to her, "His stress levels were very high. I'm surprised he didn't faint sooner." The doctor looked at his clipboard with really nothing to say. "There is nothing we can do. Bring him in this weekend and well take some scans. Other than that it's stress and there is nothing else I can tell you." The doctor gave George's mom a small smile then walked past her. The nurse started to take the stuff off of George since he was free to leave.
When George was signed out and it was just him and his mom alone in the car. She turned and looked at him. "What happened? Why do you keep getting stressed out about things? I need to know how you are feeling... You can talk to me..." She cupped onto George's face. George reached over and hugged his mom, "I can't... I don't know where the stress has been coming from. I wasn't stressed out at school... I don't understand." They broke the hug.
"Just tell me, anytime. I love you, my little gremlin." George's mom smiled at him and turned on the car. George giggled softly and turned his head to look out the window.
He couldn't tell her even if he wanted to. There was no way that he was going to tell her about what happened at school. "Ma." George looked over at his mom, "Can you drop me off at Clay's I just need to talk to him." She looked over and smirked. "I mean, I can for a little bit but why? I don't wanna be waiting in the car for an hour whole you guys are sucking faces."
George gave her a disgusted look, "Gross!! First off, Karl said that you thought Clay and I were dating." George began to explain. "You guys aren't dating?!" She looked as if she had seen a ghost. "No, we are not dating. So, there would be no sucking faces for us." She glanced over at him.
"So, wait you guys aren't a thing?"
"No."
She looked back at the road... 'Well, sh-shoot.' "Okay..."
"I'll take you to his house."
George couldn't hold back a smile.
"Thanks, mom."
----------
Fundy was sitting on Eret's bed with a sad look on his face. Eret wasn't in the room so he couldn't see what he looked like. Fundy felt bad for what he did to Clay even though he didn't do anything to him. He should have never brought up Amelia... But how could he have even known that Clay liked her?
He didn't know a lot about them, he didn't know who they liked or who they all talked to. Fundy picked up a huge bear that had a small head from Eret's bed. (Why did that kinda rhyme?) He looked at it and then set it on his lap. "Why... Why did I have to mess things up?" He bruised his face into the round softness of the teddy bear.
The door creaked open which startled Fundy, he looked up quickly. He let out a breath of relief when he saw it was just Eret's mom. She peaked her head in the doorway, "Floris, Ally is making food for you so I would get down there and hug him." She winked at him and started to laugh, "I'm joking sweetie, but I came up here to tell you that dad left. Also that George is out of the hospital." Fundy smiled at her, and she left the room.
How did she know that George was out of the hospital?! That didn't make any sense.
Fundy didn't move from his spot on the bed until he thought that he shouldn't overthink things. But, there was this sad thought that loomed in the back of his mind. He felt like it was his fault for the stuff that Clay went through. Even though it wasn't his fault.
Fundy got off the bed and got onto the ground. There was only one thing that Eret was not able to do when his dad was at the house.
See... Eret had this time in his life where he would dress up to feel like a girl. He was jealous of the things that girls got to wear and the boys couldn't. Eret's dad was never as excepting as his mom. Which led to the events of his dad never getting told. Ellis - Eret's mom- didn't mind that her son did that because no matter what she would love her son. So, she just goes along with it.
Fundy laid on his tummy as he reached underneath Eret's bed, grabbing hold of a rectangular, plastic box with his slim fingers. As he pulled out the box he noticed that there was a new box underneath the bed. He reached a bit further underneath the bed and grabbed the box. He got about halfway out from underneath the bed when he got stuck. "Fuck." He whispered to himself. It was an accident he didn't mean to swear it just kinda came out. He tried to reach his arm back to where it was caught at but the space just wasn't big enough.
It was only seconds later when the door was loudly pushed open. "Did I just hear- what kind of bad movie are you making?" Fundy rolled his eyes and held back a smile when he heard the voice Eret was going to use first. "Do you need help or is someone going to come through my bedroom window to help you-" Fundy hit his leg on the floor. "Fuck you, now help me!" Eret looked down at the male who was in a compromising position. He kneeled down to the side of Fundy, "Help you with what? Getting unstuck?" Eret teased Fundy a little, but he did help him get unstuck. When Eret got Fundys pants unstuck he felt around the area on the bed to make sure that it couldn't end up hurting Fundy. After Eret knew that it couldn't hurt his younger he grabbed Fundy by the ankles and pulled him out from underneath the bed.
"Oh, Jesus Christ you scared me." The lighter brown-haired male started laughing. He had this laugh that started of normal but then got faster and higher. It reminded Eret of a fox, which was weird but also cool. Eret sat down on the floor next to the fox-like laughing boy and laid on his back.
Eret couldn't hold back his laugh, which only made Fundy laugh even more. Both of the boys went into a laughing fit until they started to cry. They suppressed their laughing, calmness took over the atmosphere. The only sound that was heard in the room was small pants. Fundy looked over at Eret and Eret looked over at Fundy. Out of boldness, Fundy gave Eret a wink but it failed terribly. That made Eret laugh more, "What was that supposed to be?!" The curly-haired male asked as he sat up.
"Shut up." Fundy covered his face at the sheer level of failure he just achieved. He got onto his knees leaning forward a bit to comfortably place his hands on the ground in front of him. He looked over at Eret.
Eret was staring back at him, "What? Why are you staring at me?" Fundy asked in a shy voice.
"Eret?" Fundy's shy tone slowly decreased. He reached a hand out in front of the older male. "Eret?"
"Eret, you are a bottom."
"Wait, what now?" Fundy rolled his eyes and held back a laugh. He covered Erets mouth with his hand. Fundy looked at the confused boy in front of him. Fundy wasn't going to repeat himself. Eret reached up and grabbed onto Fundy's thin wrist. He pulled the hand away from his mouth. Eret's confused face turned into a smug one.
"You said that I was a bottom."
"And your gonna make me laugh, so don't start in with that voice." Fundy couldn't help but show a smile. "It's so deep." It was obvious that the light-haired boy was a simp. "That's what she said." Fundy laughed softly, "You got me on that one... Now enough stalling-".
"Wait, I wanna stall a little bit more." Eret pulled Fundy closer to his side. The older boy wrapped his arms around the younger male. He thought that Fundy was absolutely adorable. "You get to pull me around and yet my puppy eyes don't work on you."
"Who said-oh yeah... I did." Fundy got up and looked down at Eret. Eret let go of Fundy's wrist and looked up at the younger male. Eret got up and stood in front of Fundy, "I'm sorry foxy boy... Do you forgive me?"
A small smirk formed on Fundys face, "I'll forgive you only if you show me how sorry you are." Eret rose an eyebrow at the younger male's request.
"I'm kidding. I'm kidding. Yeah, I forgive you ya big fashionista." Fundy chuckled softly, then walked over to the bed and say down.
A smile formed on Erets face, "Also, I forgot to mention, because you asked why I was staring at you. But, your ears are out and they look fucking adorable." Fundy practically screamed as he waved his hands above his head. There was a hot feeling that formed around them as he did that. "Eret, why didn't you tell me?! Mom could have walked in and seen me like this!" Fundy got up and slightly twisted his body to look and see if he had a tail. There was no tail...
Thank God.
"Mom could have walked in and see what?" Ellis was leaning against the doorway with a questionable look on her face. Fundy looked over at Eret and Eret looked at Ellis. "Um... I kissed Fundy and he pushed me away because he knew that you were here." Ellis looked at Fundy and sighed with a disappointed tone. She stood up straight and placed her hands on her face as she contemplated to 'go mom' on the lie they had just told her.
She just decided to roll with it.
"Fundy, you see... The thing is, I get that you wanna you know... Make out with my son when you know no one is gonna hear you. But the thing is, you see... Regardless nobody is going to hear you guys making out. The walls are super thick and there wouldn't even be a peep on my side. I just don't like the fact that you pushed my son away and then he had to cover for you. Even though, yes it was his idea. But the whole, 'let's keep a secret from mom' idea is not a good one. Especially when you leave the door unlocked. So in other words, don't lie to me and lock the door. Love you babes." Ellis took a step back and closed the door.
(If you think that was confusing, good because it was purposefully written like that.)
Fundy's face beat red.
Eret almost practically melted like a snowman onto the floor. "Oh my God... This is why my mom is a queen!" He and Fundy both could not contain their laughter. There was no reason for them to even be laughing but it just turned out that way and that way is the best way.
After the shenanigans calmed down Fundy looked down at the long, rectangular, plastic box. The light-haired boy got onto the floor and opened up the box, "I wanna get this over with as soon as possible."
The whole reason Fundy was even doing what he was doing is, because he lost a bet to Eret.
Eret looked down, "I get to choose it remember?"
"Oh yeah..." Fundy backed away from the box and crossed his legs, leaving Eret room in front of the box. Eret slowly sat down and glanced over at the younger male. He could tell that Fundy was kinda uncomfortable, but also a bit scared. Looks that he didn't like to see on the younger male. "Funds, I'm not going to put you in some short skirt, I don't even have any like that." Eret placed a hand on Fundy's knee. Those words made Fundy more relaxed than he was before.
When Eret found the skirt he wanted Fundy to wear, he handed it to the younger male with a small smile. "Go put it on, or if your not comfortable having mom seeing you like that, then you can just change in here and I can stand outside."
"I want to change in here." Eret nodded his head and got up off of the floor. He reached his hand down for Fundy to take, -which he happily did- and he pulled the younger male onto his feet.
Eret let go of Fundy and left the room.
Fundy was left alone in silence to look at the skirt and decide if he liked the thing or not. He pulled off the skinny jeans that he had been wearing. Fundy didn't know if he could do this or not, but he was willing to try.
He pulled on the skirt.
The skirt hung just above the knees, it was a pink and brown checkered patterned one with white lines. Fundy walked over to the body-length mirror that Eret had in his room and looked at himself. This was definitely something that he would never wear in his life.
"I'm done." Those words slipped out of his mouth with compelled awkwardness. He wanted to take off the shirt. The door was pushed open and Eret walked into the room. Fundy could see the way Eret looked at him using the mirror.
His eyes just seemed to light up, "Now that's what a real man looks like!" Eret squealed and ran over to Fundy pulling him into a tight hug.
----------
George's mom pulled up to Clay's house. George got out of the car and ran up to the front door. He calmly rang the doorbell compared to the way he got out of the car.
A few seconds later the door was pulled open by Clay's mom. When she saw George she was surprised, "George, what are you doing here?!"
"I need to talk to Clay about something. Can I come in?" George responded in a polite tone. She stepped to the side and George walked inside the house. The smell of overdone vanilla filled his nose. "He is in his bedroom." She told him.
George walked up the stairs to Clay's room. When he got to the room he pushed the door open.
"Clay..."
George walked inside and closed the door behind him. Clay was leaning over his bed grabbing his phone from the floor. "George you scared me." Clay breathed out before grabbing his phone and sitting up on the bed. "George... What are you doing here? I thought you were in the--".
"Why did you tell me?" George cut him off.
Clay was confused, "Tell you what?"
"That you quit the football team, or more specifically... Why did you tell me that I made you quit the football team?"
The blond-haired male froze, "You- you didn't make me quit. What are you even talking about? I quit because I wanted to."
George was relieved that it wasn't his fault that Clay quit. He just didn't understand why the blond did that in the first place. Sure, there could be a lot of reasons but are they surely ones that someone should quit something over?
"Why, why did you quit the football team?" George asked taking a step away from the door. Clay placed his phone on the bed beside him. "Because I don't wanna be the popular football player anymore. My social anxiety is going to catch up with me because of it and then I'll never be able to leave the house." George walked over to Clay and stood in front of him. There was a moment of silence that occurred between the two of them. It wasn't awkward it was comfortable. "Lime... I just want you to not keep secrets from me. The way I found out about you quieting is not the best way I should have and also..."
"Clay... I'm sorry about what Amelia said. And Fundy was wrong. Don't get mad at him tomorrow because he was only assuming." Clay nodded. There was this feeling-this aura that Clay had around him. He didn't know what to think at this point.
Ha knew he had to make this interaction quick because his mom was in the car. George grabbed onto Clay's chin and made the younger male look up at him.
"Are you doing okay?" Clay grabbed George's wrist and pulled it away from his face. "No. I have so many emotions flowing through my head right now but I'm fine... But are you fine? Your the one who fainted today and I worry about you." Clay got up onto his feet, George took a step back leaving a bit of room in between them. "I was stressed out during school. That's all. I am okay and will be okay... The doctor just said that I need to relax more." George sighed.
"Well, I should get going, my mom is waiting outside for me and I told her I wouldn't be too long." George walked away from Clay with a prolonged smile. He turned around once he got to the door, he waved. "I'll see you tomorrow at school." George walked out of the room and closed the door behind him.
He was happy that he fixed that with Clay but he wasn't happy that he didn't hear about it right away. George could also be overthinking things and Clay could have gone to school intending to tell him and just never got the chance to. George didn't know and he decided that he wasn't going to think about it anymore.
The dark brown-haired boy walked down the steps. "Bye!" He yelled to Clay's mom in a happy tone. "Goodbye, George!" She yelled back to him. George left the house and closing the front door behind him. He walked to the car and got in, his mother looked over at him.
"Sooooooooo....? Did you make up with your boyfriend?" She teased. "Mom! He's not my boyfriend. I don't know what keeps making you think that but it's not true."
She smiled, as she watched George defend himself. "I was just teasing you."
They got home a whole later, when they got inside George walked up to his bedroom and opened the door. "Karl are you home-." The air was practically knocked out of George as he was pulled into a tight hug.
It was Karl.
"You said you were fine and yet you fainted again. You promised me that you would be fine." Karl muttered soft words that were meant for George's safety and Karl's disappointment. Geirge hugged the fluffy-haired male back and sighed. "Karl as much as I want to control it, it's because of my stress levels. If I get too stressed then I faint. Some things happened at school and I fainted because of that. I am only human and things don't always go the way we like." George broke the hug and looked at Karl.
"Besides, I promise, even though I may faint I will be okay." George smiled at the boy.
Karl didn't believe George. He felt like there was more going on with the story than George even knew.
But he smiled back anyway to show that he believes him. "Promise?" Karl lifted his pinky.
George interlocked their pinkies together, "I promise."
