Chapter 162 - Chapter 162 The wedding day

Several hours later, Luna stood in front of the mirror staring at her reflection. She was ready, fully dressed in her wedding gown and the only thing left were her veil and stilettos.

"You look so beautiful," Cynthia praised her daughter. "Thank you Mom. Thank you for everything, for being with me on this day, it really means a lot to me. I'm going to miss you so much, " she said.

"You shouldn't thank me for anything. I should be the one thanking you instead because you gave me the opportunity to be with you. This is still your home and I'm hoping to see you here again even though you're married. And you shouldn't hesitate to tell me if anything happens." After having a few words with her mother, Grandma also came in and praised how beautiful she looked. Just then, her phone rang and it was Graham who had called her. "I think you shouldn't answer it. It will make you feel more nervous," Grandma advised and noticed the disappointed look in her eyes. Smiling, she passed her the phone and she excitedly picked up," Hello" "We've reached the church. Let me hope you didn't change your mind," he said jokingly and she immediately said," Of course not. I'm almost done with everything. We are soon coming." "Okay. Take your time," he said and hung up. At this time, Bella was frowning because Ethan hadn't called her at all yet Graham had been calling Luna the whole time.

Abigail and Ciara also said that they had sorted out their issues with their men. When Luna was left alone for a moment, the door opened and Ciara came in. "Ciara," she said as soon as she saw her. "I just wanted to have a word with you," she said and Luna nodded. Coming closer, she said," Luna, I just wanted to tell you that I'm so sorry for everything. Having spent some little time with you, I got to know how wonderful you are and I realized that I was wrong to judge you in the first place. I was just hurt because of the unrequited love and I shifted the blame on you but I realized that Graham was never meant for me. And I assure you that I don't hold any hard feelings for you. All I want is for us to be friends, of course if you don't mind." Luna got Ciara's hands in hers and said," Of course we are friends already and honestly I've never hated you, Ciara. Let's forget about everything in the past and start again."

An hour later, a convoy parked in front of the church. Looking through the window, Luna saw the many reporters that were standing outside and they made her feel more nervous.

"You shouldn't worry about them, I will clear the entire place if they make you uncomfortable," Luis said and when she nodded, he got out of the car and approached them.

Luna looked at the vast church knowing that he was there waiting for her. She didn't know why she was so nervous yet she saw him just yesterday night but she was feeling as though she was going to be seeing someone new. She swallowed when her father opened the door and helped her out then Cynthia gave her a bouquet of flowers.

When they reached the entrance, she hooked her hand in her father's and her Mom before entering the church said," Don't look elsewhere but at him." She nodded and took a deep breath. "Ready?" Lucas asked his daughter and when she nodded, they made their way in.

Luna clutched her flowers when she sensed that all the guests' eyes were on her. A slow calm music started playing and when she looked up, her eyes locked into the most mesmerizing eyes she had ever seen.

With every step she took, her heart raced fast as her eyes were drowning in his even when they were meters apart. The gap between them closed and even when there were over thirty people in the church, she could only see him, as if it was just the two of them.

Graham could hear the sound of his own heartbeat in his ears. Even though he had many fantasies of how she would look like on this day, none of his imaginations could compare. She looked so beautiful. He watched her as she walked towards him in full perfection and his breath ceased.

For a second, she blinked to make sure she wasn't dreaming. This man right here, as handsome and generous was going to be hers forever. She noticed that he had a fresh hair cut that made him look more gorgeous and she felt as if they were meeting for the first time. Lucas Howells placed her hand in his but not before telling him to take care of her.
