This is a historical fiction so there will be some things that may not be to your likings. This book is based on ancient times where women were treated badly and had no rights. The women were devoted to their husbands and it was normal for the men to beat the wives, it was a way to discipline the wives. The girls used to get married at a very early age and it was very normal. So if you dont like these ideas then its better not to read this book.
