And also, you may open your eyes now..." Draxus glanced over to Scarlet, telling her to try opening her eyes. Slowly but surely, she opened her eyes and finally saw light coming into her. She instinctively covered her eyes with her hand as she wasn't used to it yet, but seeing such response was already enough for the royal family to be greatly happy. The three of them hugged Scarlet as she was finally able to see. They expressed their worries and regret on how they were unable to save her, but with things ended well, they shed a few tears.
On the background, a clap was heard. Draxus and Viceroy high-fived on the success of the operation. "You crazy son of a bitch you actually did it." "I'm honored to be memed on, but on a serious note, I'm glad things went well." Viceroy glanced over to the royal family as Scarlet had her eyes towards Draxus. Viceroy signalled Draxus that she wanted to say something, making Draxus go talk to her for a bit. "Your eyes and throat was recently cured, so you don't have to force yourself now. But I know what you want to say... You're welcome..." Draxus smiled as the royalty separated themselves from her for a while to let Draxus speak to her. "More importantly..." Draxus moved his hand to brush her head gently. "Now that you're fully cured, nobody will ever be able to get you through such experience again. I will personally ensure it." "A... Ah..." Scarlet reached out, and immediately clung to Draxus as tears start to flow down. She took notice herself, as not only that she won't ever be alone, but she will be protected from any further harm. He then immediately received a call and moved out of the room to report to Serkyrio in detail.
