Chapter 210 - The Solarian City

"Spy of Lunarians, not any disguise magic will help you in progressing further." Those words immediately got Viceroy to realize the situation he's in. The other members in the caravan started to feel wary, as they realized that they had been travelling with a disguised outsider. With that along with the jig being up, Viceory simply disabled his disguise. He brought out his crystal badge that indicates his position completely. "Lunarian? I am Viceroy Alistair, [Sentinel of Chivalry] from Preeliance, I am currently on leave for an incognito vacation." He presented his badge with a serious expression, exerting pressure to the guards to ensure they won't say anything stupid. "W-We'll confirm this to our higher-ups!" The guards immediately returned to their station and had one sent out to the floating castle. Viceroy took notice of the guard sent had the ability to fly. Seeing the floating castle from the city gate, Viceroy felt at awe to the grandiose design, but he didn't show any difference in expression. "Oh! Let this caravan through, I alone will wait here." "Understood..." Viceroy jumped off the caravan and took a graceful landing. "Alright you may go." As the caravan left, Viceroy checked his luggage in the [Interdimensional Storage]. Realizing that he didn't lose anything, he then waited for an update on whether an audience will be happening.

He didn't ask for a royal audience, but he has somewhat expected that any country would try to get their hands on a connection with the order. This is especially because Draxus is involved in the Sentinel order.

After waiting for about five minutes, the guard that was sent had returned with a carriage that looks to be more of a sleigh. "The Solarians welcome the visit of the [Sentinel of Chivalry] to our city. We implore you to visit the floating palace." With a faithful invitation, Viceroy felt uncomfortable riding a sleigh. "Uhh... I can fly..." "I-Is that so?" "Yeah, it's faster that way, guide me, sir guard." "U-Understood..." The two of them flew upwards, just as the two of them come closer to the floating palace, Viceroy gets more excited by each passing second. That excitement however changed into a serious expression as he took notice of a gigantic piece of technology that looks like a weapon in a distance. "The hell is that...?" "That's a weapon that's currently in development. It is a solar ray that we can use to snipe or annihilate armies from this city. We do not have enough mana to power the weapon however. As far as I heard, they were still looking for a good source." "A good source you say..." Multiple thoughts immediately crossed Viceroy's mind when it came to [Power Sources]. One such power source includes arcane dragons. Arcane dragons cause the overflowing mana atmospheres in an area. The country of Preeliance had multiple arcane dragons, which is why it is always a place that's rich in atmospheric mana. Another kind of power source is using sacrifices. Viceroy felt like he had to stomach some iffy feelings as he knew what kind of dangers and controversies would spin up if sacrifices were to be used. "Definitely dangerous..." He muttered some words accidentally which were almost caught. "Did you say anything?" "Uh no, just wondering how that thing would start up." "Yeah, it's been a massive problem to be honest..." He managed to loop the conversation for the time being, but there was one thing Viceroy couldn't get out of his head when it comes to the weapon made by the Solarians.

"If they use any [Otherworlder], earthlings or those council enemies... They are a massive threat..." He kept those words in his head as he entered the floating castle.

"Today, we welcome the visit of the Preeliance's Sentinel, Viceroy Alistair, who has arrived with a small purpose to enjoy his vacation." As the leaders welcomed Viceroy to the meeting, a feast was started. They were on a small room where the leaders have gathered to meet. It overlooks the banquet area which makes it look like a safe place from any sudden attackers. Viceroy joined the feast with the leaders as the discussions began.

"Before we start, the honored guest may have some questions about us. So feel free to ask anything you want to know about." Given such opportunity, he prioritized his objective which is about the culture and traditions of the country. He had learned various things through the questions he had. Some questions were probing further, which led to some massive information leaks.

"Our leader is actually just a proxy leader. The true government of the Solarians come from the separate realm that can only be accessed through two gates. Both gates bring you towards the same realm, but the gate found in this castle can bring you directly to the Solar Palace, the very center of the Solarian realm." "We can freely access the one at the center of this city, but only the true government can access the one inside this castle. This is why we're considered as proxy leaders. We can only act as instructed by the true leaders of the Solarians." With that kind of information given, Viceroy did ask if they could send at least a letter or a report. "We could, but it only involves royalty visits or discussions with the Lunarians." "I see, so if we are to proceed to proper talks, we would need Draxus to come at the very least." "Draxus...? An acquaintance of yours?" "Yeah, Archon of Preeliance. He handles most of the financial works of the Preeliance." "A-An Archon you say? If that's the case then we definitely could." Viceroy continued to gather information about the Solarians. He memorized it all as he knew using the phone during a feast violates etiquette standards..

After the feast, he learned many things about the Solarians, immediately sending the information while he's alone in a guest room.

"I'm quite glad that they don't seem to have intentions of forcefully tying me to their country by sending some noble's daughter into the guest room... But now that I think about it..." Viceroy wore the glasses lent to him by Serkyrio. He immediately then took notice that there were no lines heading straight to the castle. "Does it apply through a realm though...? I don't think so... I'll try the Lunar Capital after staying here for a couple days." Viceroy changed to his pajamas as he slept on a proper bed after travelling for a few days.

He stayed for about two or three days in the city's floating castle, but noticing that he had fulfilled his purposes, he immediately made preparations to leave the castle.

He properly gave his farewells to the proxy leaders before leaving the castle and the city.
