It was around the first week where Jevil had travelled towards the country of Helvetum. It was finally decided as to what Viceroy will be doing for the time being. He was summoned by Serkyrio due to a personal mission for him.
"I assume that you already know what we're about to discuss [Sentinel of Chivalry]?" Viceroy had actually read what the main topic was about. But considering that Serkyrio is the one that's going to discuss the mission, it may be related to Draxus not knowing anything about the mission. "This has something to do with Draxus is it?" "Yes. The reason I'm assigning you to this country is because of this." Serkyrio brought out a pair of glasses. It looked quite ordinary, which has multiple meanings. "A disguise? But since it's the emperor..." "Take a look at it through magic vision." Prompted by Serkyrio to do so, Viceroy took a glance of the glasses with focused magic. There he took notice of a massive amount of divinity lurking inside the glasses. "Wearing this glasses allow you to see what you normally wouldn't, this includes connections between souls and hearts." "Souls and hearts...? Draxus has eight souls if I remember correctly... What about the hearts?" "Kek." Serkyrio grinned a little as he handed it over to Viceroy. "Before you wear it, check this out first."
Serkyrio showed what was on his laptop, a recording of Draxus and Olivia in the castle meeting with the [Sentinel Order]. "You can't see anything yet, but wear the glasses." "Alright..." Viceroy wore the glasses and immediately noticed a line between Draxus and Olivia. "Oh... Now I get it... Are you saying that there is a connection between Draxus and somebody in this country?" Serkyrio simply nodded to Viceroy's question. But despite that, Viceroy wondered how Serkyrio managed to do something like that. It was impossible to see something on what was recorded in the past. "I won't explain how, you'll get information overload." "Ah..." Asking Serkyrio about how made him give that answer. Viceroy immediately understood that he won't be able to comprehend what Serkyrio had to do to ensure such thing. "Securing the hearts that are connected to the souls will be the key to eliminating the threats to the universe. These threats include the council of the skies and the devils from the far lands." "Understood, but I want to know how much is this correlated." As Viceroy probed further, he was only met with a scheming smile that told him to not press further for the time being. "Never mind, I understand the situation. That's the main priority right?" "Yes, other things you may need to gather are information about the enemy if possible, and higher priority to that is the government system." "Alright, I think I got it." "Good, you may go." After the short exchange about the mission, Viceroy recollected what he needed to do in his room.
Two days later, he was finally ready to travel to the country he was designated to. "Celestia huh...? That's the name of the country..." Viceroy is currently outside the castle, eating some food that he will likely miss due to his travel for the time being. "Oh? A Sentinel eating out in here?" One of the shopkeepers took notice and greeted Viceroy. "Haha, I'm only eating here today because I'll miss the flavor in a bit." "Planning to travel I see...? Judging by the map markings, Celestia huh...? Quite a nostalgic place." "You've been here?" Viceroy immediately took notice of the shopkeeper's origins. He glanced over to see the features of the middle-aged man as he started talking about the country. "Celestia is the country that houses two capital cities, the first one is the Solari, and the other is of course, the Lunari. I came from the Lunari side. Seeing some Solari people here do shake my nerves a little, but it seems that we can get common ground considering the laws in your country." "I'm glad no disputes happened like that within this country." "Well, disputes like that may be impossible here, but it's nearly a daily occurrence back there." "Is that so?" Viceroy noticed the grimace painted on the Lunari man's face. He probed in a bit to know more about the country. "The two sides are extremely territorial. There's a middle ground separating both sides, and it's pretty much used as the place where wars happen between the two. There's no knowing when people will be dragged into war." "Horrible..." Viceroy knew the stakes at war, even if he's on the side that's trampling the enemies, he just couldn't see unnecessary deaths being acceptable. "I know right? Because of those two sides, there was a dispute between Temockria and Polytopia once. That was long ago though." "Any sign of those two countries stopping?" "Nope, but you guys have that influence right? Are you planning to stop their wars?" "Yep, sound annoying and tedious but it's important for our goals." The two of them continued to converse about the country more. With a solid amount of information from the Lunarian, Viceroy gave him a nice tip and paid double the usual amount for the food that he ordered. Greeting each other gratefulness, Viceroy moved to search for the Solarian.
"If Lunarians have the distinct purple hair and/or purple eyes feature, then it's likely that Solarians have a more orange or yellow feature." As he pondered to himself, he finally met a Solarian.
"Oh? Ah, it's [Sentinel of Chivalry], how may I help?" An orange-haired young lady greeted Viceroy with proper etiquette. It felt stiff for Viceroy to receive such a greeting but he simply shrugged it off. "I want to ask about your home country." "Celestia...? Did something perhaps happen back home?" "No, I just intend to visit the country for my vacation so I'd like to know what it's like as a Solarian." "Ah..." Viceroy noticed that the Solarian started to look pale. "I don't mind if you won't answer, I've heard about some things from the Lunarian, and it seems like it wasn't something nice to talk about." The Solarian simply nodded in response, seeming unable to bring out any words. "I understand, sorry for bringing it up, and thanks for helping me confirm things." He thanked her by handing a discount coupon that he had on one of the restaurants in Preeliance. He then booked it out of the location to avoid further distress.
He left the city grounds and started thinking about how to arrive to the country. "I was told that the compass here allows portal creation in specific coordinates... I don't feel so great being used as a guinea pig for this but fine." Viceroy placed a small compass on the map in the middle part of Celestia to open a portal. "Now just channel magic... Oh?!" Viceroy was surprised to the sudden opening of a portal in front of him, and immediately realized how valuable the item is. He entered the portal and immediately arrived to the middle zone of Celestia.
There, he was met with two armies ready to face each other.
