Back in the outside realm, a week had passed. The two figures, one of which is Kenós, had finished up their preparations. "It's about time, Lord Kenós. How will we approach this realm?" "Slow down, our job here is to take out one realm at a time. The time in between realms is completely different, so you may take your time to finish up your extermination in there. Once you are done, exit the portal and I can usurp everything back into nothingness." "Your power is truly mesmerizing, being capable of erasing anything, from life essence, to even history itself." "Hmph, flattery will get you nowhere. Do remember that we have one job here bestowed to us by our high-rank god." The half-spirit bowed down as her figure finally becomes slightly visible.
Her attire is similar to standard magician attire, but there was major differences. Her clothes are themed with complete darkness without light. She held a long staff with an inverted star on the very top of it. Her appearance looked quite well as a young lady who could be deemed as a model, her lower half however is just a phantom figure of a spirit. Thus, she floated on all of her movements and has no issues with mobility.
"I'm sure that there would be nobody capable of handling something that they do not know. After all, you are the Unknown Being, former goddess of magic." Kenós smiled as he stood right at the entrance prepared to use his magic. "I await news from you, whether you succeed or not." The half-spirit entered the realm gateway and began the chaos immediately.
Audrey was the first to take notice, that somebody had found and entered the realm gateway. She immediately stopped her training and turned her gaze right at the entrance. She focused her magic to check for any presences, but she was immediately stumped. "That mana..." She noticed that mana has been scattered around the area, she tried to analyze the concept behind the magic but she was unable to decipher it at all. While she was confused, the scattered mana immediately turned into black orbs that started to attach into the greenery, sucking off the plant life in an instant. "!!!" In that moment, Audrey started to fly to the area to see what had happened.
"What the hell..." Audrey was followed by her trainers who were also worried as to what had happened within the area. All life within it had died, and they were starting to feel weak after entering the range of the black orbs. "Oh? I have pursuers now? Not that I'm surprised but welcome! To your demise!" The half-spirit figure raised her staff and started activating magic that Audrey hasn't seen before. "What is that..." She tried to analyze the type of magic but was unable to decipher it for a second, multiple colorless orbs appeared around the group, without knowing what was about to happen, she immediately understood that the battle has already begun.
"[All-Purpose]!" She shouted a quick-cast ability to create a barrier with every single possible element. Since she was unable to know what kind of magic the enemy is using, she had to use every element possible to at least defend the current attack." The orbs exploded and damaged the terrain. It had also destroyed Audrey's barrier and damaged her a little bit. "Gh! What?!" Hearing agony from the ground, the half-spirit grinned as her eye color turned yellow. "Ho? So you're here, I never expected to encounter the current one in this realm. But considering that this realm is always calling out to the goddesses of magic, it's bound to happen eventually." Audrey didn't miss those words, she was somewhat shocked to hear that the realm has always been summoning goddesses of magic, it must mean that her opponent was called in by an insider, as she was a goddess of magic, albeit former. "You say you're a former goddess of magic, what in the world happened to you?" "You could ask yourself that instead!" Just after she spoke, she moved her hands close to each other as if trying to squish an object in between. When Audrey saw that, immense pressure came from the sides and began to crush her. "J-Just what...?" "You don't even understand this kind of magic. As expected, I was better suited for the role of a goddess unlike you! But then, I'll retake that position eventually! Lord Kenós told me so, the [God of Dominion] told me so!" Audrey was starting to feel her bones cracking under the pressure, but when she heard those two names, one was unfamiliar while the other, was something she knew from the ranks higher than her. It was the overall enemy that they have to face. "[God of Dominion]..." She muttered while continuing to resist even with the use of physical magic. But she has a solution to escape the pressure now. "[Open Rift]!" She opened a portal under her and her trainers back to the central tree. They escaped from the unknown enemy that had breached through her defenses without resistance. "All of you, inform the people and prepare evacuation for those who cannot fight. I cannot fight her with a group!" "You mean, you'll sacrifice yourself Audrey?!" "This could be the case, but I have to stall for time against this monster of an opponent. I can't identify anything about her." The sword master was about to raise his voice to try and convince Audrey, but he was suddenly stopped. "[I order you as the [Sentinel of Arcana] to retreat and begin an evacuation]." Audrey then left to face off against the enemy.
"There she goes, we have to inform the Fae Queen. An evil former goddess has come to destroy the realm, we need to prepare evacuation immediately." "But then Audrey will!" The sword master tried to resist, but he was stopped by the other trainers. "We can't handle it. If we were to fight against an enemy we have no knowledge on, specially a goddess, then we'll only turn to dust in mere seconds! Didn't we all experience the extreme pressure Audrey faced earlier? We can't even come close because we were weakened in the area!" The sword master then understood, that there was no chance for their group to even come close to the enemy. They decided to head to the tree and quickly inform the Fae Queen.
