Audrey flew as she prepared everything in her arsenal. She prepared every single magic tool that she had prepared for massive attacks and anything. "That goddess must have a great defensive system as well. This is not going to be an easy fight, she could be as strong as Iapetus, but I have no information against her at all." Audrey felt iffy when battling her. She has an extreme prowess that is highly dangerous to fight against, and her position as a former goddess of magic means that she has great knowledge about what Audrey could make use.
"There's only one way to find out about her unknown capabilities." She resolved herself and arrived to the scene which has spread out way more. "So much death... And the aura is getting stronger..." She clicked her tongue in frustration, as she flew high, and fast enough to prevent herself from getting a surprise attack. Before long, she found the enemy and quickly prepared offensive magic while unnoticed.
"Hmm?" The half-spirit figure stopped her massacre of the nature and quickly summoned multiple blackholes in midair. Audrey fired her barrage of elements at the same time and fired her laser to which she copied the name. "[Malevarious]!" All her attacks however, were absorbed into the blackholes as they turned the trajectory completely, rendering Audrey's magic attacks completely useless. To make things worse, the blackholes opened up once more to return fire with what Audrey sent. However, she knew what to do in that kind of situation after she brought out a tool that was given to her a while ago. She took out a colorless orb that was meant for absorption of magic. She quickly took all the attacks into the orb and restore complete mana. She thought about using this to absorb the enemy attacks as well to render it useless but she decided to forget about the idea. Experimenting theoretical tactics against the enemy is next to suicide. Though she thought that her combat trainers think that she's sacrificing herself to save the people, she came her to actually fight and win a battle.
"Surprised to see you come back, do you plan to hold me back with your life?" The half-spirit attempted to taunt her with a bit of a hidden intention behind it. Audrey cannot react to anything the enemy tries using mental tactics, she understood it directly from Draxus. Any mistake she makes in a battle with a disadvantage is fatal, and could lead to her death. She didn't even bother countering the taunt as it could be used against her. "[I am a [Sentinel], formed to protect the heart of our world]." She recited the short statement of being a [Sentinel] under Draxus. Without the help of anybody, she has to fight a battle of magic, where she is in a disadvantage. "[Arcane Magic]!" Audrey brought out a book from the [Interdimensional Storage] immediately activating the full extent of one ability without hesitation.
A large open book materialized behind her, the pages were empty but a drawing of a magic circle was seen on one page and her magic began. "Interesting! So the prowess of the current [Goddess of Magic] is arcane!?" The half-spirit laughed as she dodged the barrages of physical objects that have been reformed using arcane magic from all directions. "You'll just reabsorb these when I send them back anyway, so let's have some fun!" The half-spirit unleashed magic that had unknown principles, but Audrey understood that there was divine essence mixed into the magic. "[Unknown Magic]! [Open Replacement]!" At the start, Audrey was baffled by the way the cast works, she had no information until she realized that she cannot breathe and speak at all.
"Did she replace air with mana? The amount is dangerous! The principle? Concept?!" Audrey questioned the possible way to cast magic like it but her confusion was discarded with a bigger threat. The half-spirit twirled once and swung her staff around and unleashed stars to cover the sky. After finishing her quick spin around to scatter stars, she raised her staff and a dark light began to rise. Audrey knew of this threat and quickly hurled every possible attack from her Arcane magic, a defensive barrier coated the half-spirit, and none of her arcane attacks managed to damage her. "Useless, principle is not enough to harm the barrier that I have created! [Unknown Universe]!" The dark light started to spread out like a dome covering the entire realm. The ability looked beautiful, if only it wasn't as dreadful as to send a rain of deadly lasers down to the ground constantly. "Ghh!! Celestial energy...?" Audrey used arcane magic to form a barrier using the magical properties of the atmosphere. She still wasn't able to take a breather due to the air being replaced by mana. But there was one thing that she managed to get through.
"At least I now know her plan. Indiscriminate destruction." Audrey spoke such in her mind as she knows what to do for a little bit. "I need to multitask, not just regularly, but on the level of Draxus..." After thinking about what to do, she has a solution to get out of the current trouble. "[Gale Storm]!" Audrey created powerful wind pressure to surround the area, deflecting all lasers as a temporary measure, and wind to make it easier for the next thing she has to do. "[Arcane Magic], [Magic Chemistry], [Hyper Photosynthesis]." She then creates a small solar energy near the plants and create water from magic. She then uses the heat of the weakened solar energy, water, and plant life to create oxygen for her to breathe. "It's poisonous, but it'll do for now." Audrey is capable of resisting poisonous or extreme toxins due to her magic. Creating air also helped in allowing her to speak once again. "So you managed to get out of that crisis, but I'm not done." The half-spirit pointed her staff towards Audrey and fired a powerful laser in that instant. "Gh!!! [Malevarious]!" Audrey fired her own laser mixed with all elements to contest the enemy. A null-zone was created at the middle, but before long, Audrey realized that the null-zone is heading straight to her. She used arcane magic from the materialized book to follow up from all directions.
In that moment though, she failed to notice that her opponent would do the same despite having an advantaged laser already.
"[Stellar Scatterbomb]." Stars began to converge around Audrey and exploded in a set distance, making her unable to react to create a barrier, and still managing to damage her and stop the laser from contesting. In front of her eyes after taking damage, was a large black laser heading straight towards her at a great speed.
"If only I could be as great as them..."
