A few weeks ago, just after Draxus had made a full recovery.
"Keith, I hear you've been having a lose streak against Wesley lately." Draxus came up to Keith asking about his current state. "Yeah, I can't seem to get a hold on how fast he can escape my time stop. His artifact is able to predict my [Chronopause] flawlessly these days and I have no counterplay for his swap and attack." Keith decided to tell Draxus about his slump that he hasn't been able to get out of.
Among the Sentinels, the power of each vice-chief is nearly equal within each other. The most capable ones are Keith and Wesley, because they try to make a flexible build of both magic and combat. Jevil spikes on combat while Audrey spikes on magic. Keith and Wesley usually compete between each other on who is the stronger [Sentinel] aside from Draxus who was obviously an Archon.
"Then how about I'll teach you this." Draxus brought out his phone and started looking for something in the notepad. "This has the same principle as [Silent Command], but instead of directing it to a person's [Mind], which is actually impossible for you, to a place where you are more expertise on." Keith was slightly confused as to why Draxus would teach him something impossible. "Well your expertise is spirit, thus instead of commanding the mind..." "I can command their spirit instead...?" Keith was somewhat surprised of such a theory coming from Draxus, but considering that he's the one that theorized all forms of magic that they can use today, Keith knew that he had some edge now. "Yep, this is how you'll do it."
Focus your mind, and clear your spirit, you are the highest in your domain of power. You surpass the authority of mankind regardless of whether they are hero, or a celestial... Those words resonated in Keith's mind as he fully focused his spirit power.
Now... Command the spirits to do your bidding, king of spirits...
"[Halt]!"
Back in Present time:
The black and burly man moved one step further and completely stopped just before he stepped on the window. "This is some crazy conspiracy you have, hero of Aquila... [Release me]." In that moment, the hero of Aquila realized that something was wrong. "W-We're both heroes!? How are we getting commanded by a random human?!" The words remained in his thoughts where Keith could only make guesses. "You're probably thinking about how I can command you..." The hero started to think that they are about to get some answers. "I have no reason to tell you anything about my power." Keith turned around and walked to the black burly man and sliced off his arm before he could even think of any plan. Not even agony was transmitted to his mind as the spirit was left one step behind him. The only thing he could move was his torso, which is incapable of even nudging because he cannot move his feet or arms.
Keith released Layla from the grasp of the severed arm and wrapped one of his arms around her. He took out [Headhunter] with his left hand and released only the hero of Aquila. "I'm giving you a count to ten to explain what in the fuck you're planning. Rotten hero." Keith began a major count to give a chance for the hero to explain. "Keith looked on Layla and noticed that a collar has been placed on her neck. "Tch! So you're going to enslave a [Sentinel] what's more, my fiancés huh?" Keith's mood dropped greatly and decided to simply just decided to force them to lose consciousness by commanding their spirit.
"[Spirit King Form] is one of your maximum potential magic, if you used it as a concept, it's a stable way of fighting against enemies. However, it is weaker when you used it as [Theory Magic]. I will teach you about this one." Keith remembered the words that Draxus told him. He was taught to use [Spirit King] and used it against Wesley, ending his win streak easily. After the next time, he has stabilized the scores and the two of them are now fighting on equal ground. But there was one thing that was taught to him by Draxus.
"You can destabilize the casting of a spell, to use it in the form of a theory means that you are ready to make a major risk of fighting with unstable magic that can backfire against you. If you're willing to unlock your maximum potential now, then you will have to take the risks." Draxus's words was something he has to keep in mind, he needed to ensure that he is going to be able to fight against anything in the later battles.
"And thus I use [Theory Magic]. Just as Draxus said, I can reuse my [Spirit King] from not as a concept which is weaker but more stable, but in theory, which is a lot stronger, but completely unstable..." Keith disposed the two enemies by throwing them out into the training field in stopped time. When he returned into the room, he quickly found himself pulled by Layla into the bed. She was clinging hard into his neck, making him realize that she was still in effect of the aphrodisiac. "No choice then..."
The next day, Keith had a haggard look on his face as he quickly went to report to the king what the hero attempted on. The king also looked quite haggard, prompting him to scan the body. "He's also a victim of the aphrodisiac huh...?" He kept those words in his mind as he spoke to the king.
"I truly apologize, Executor Keith for the unforgivable actions of my hero, who colluded with the [Hero of Temockria]. But then, to surpass the authority of the [Hero of Control]... We want to investigate whether the hero of this country is colluding out of free will or is controlled by him. For now, feel free to take it slow for the time being." "I will let it slide by myself, but this incident will be reported to Archon Kingfisher." Layla remained silent while blushing a little bit. She looked somewhat glossy as she tried to hide what she did with Keith last night. "By the way, I see an uncanny resemblance between you and a pair of twin adventurers presiding in Preeliance." She decided to speak up to further hide her own shame. "Oh?! Could you at least tell me their names?!" The King, filled with a glimmer of hope, asked them questions about the twin adventurers that resided in Preeliance.
