Draxus first brought the girls to a large living quarters that is furnished nicely and maintained in good condition. Each girl explored the room filled with both fascination and curiosity on what they will be able to see in this home. But before long, Draxus could only let the girls explore on their own as he looked for the bedroom at the top floor.
"The spiral staircase sure looks impressive than how I imaged it." Draxus walked up the spiral staircase and ensured that the place is made for both safety and good design. Before long, he managed to arrive to the bedroom, which has a large bed that could fit double their entire group. "Dude what the fuck." Draxus scratched his head on what Serkyrio had done.
In the meantime, the girls were exploring while asking Wendy questions about certain pieces of technology. "This is..." Olivia was curious on the objects that are moving around like small drones. "These are cleaning bots. They automatically move around cleaning any dirt that they pass through. Best you don't pick them up though, from what I recall those things are expensive. Speaking of expensive things, I wonder how much budget was placed into this mansion, what's more, there are four of them. Considering the manpower, it would be either Emperor Serkyrio or Archon Arlesk the ones that led this. But Draxus seemed to be complaining about the expenses." After hearing what Wendy just said, Olivia probed in to gather a bit more information about the world. "You see, I'm no expect at this but, real estates can be bought even by commoners in this world. If they are wealthy enough and have a high and stable income, they can fully maintain mansions without issue. But yeah, there are various land taxes that have to be paid yearly to ensure that this land won't be surrendered to the government." After hearing a bit more, Olivia felt somewhat guilty as they're provided with the best possible hospitality by even being given a mansion for them to live on. "It feels bad to make them spend so much just for us." Wendy shook her head as she knew some things about the Archons and the Emperor even before they arrived to the other world. "I wouldn't think so much of it. Before Drax got summoned to your world, they were already rich to the point they can shatter markets and the demand of various things. They have a great income that's highly sustainable from their investments, so maybe they have some money for everything here. And now that they can create minerals such as gold, silver, and even gems, their value had only gone up. But I still found it hard to believe that he's this rich." Wendy crossed her arms and huffed up a little as she was never told anything about his actual wealth. The two of them moved around and explored various rooms after realizing that the group had split off.
Before long, they end up seeing a massive library that compete against even the castle library of Preeliance. Spanning over multiple floors, but was only divided into three sections. Wendy and Olivia looked around to find their other friends. "I'm pretty sure Julie and Gwen are here. They're the ones that have been recently going through a lot of books." Olivia remembered some things as she kept an eye on all the girls from time to time. "You're also striving to learn magic as well right? Wendy?" Wendy nodded in response and made a simple explanation as they walked around. "Yeah, as much as I want to attack from the front lines, there's already Draxus taking that brunt. Though he is preparing some weapons last time we spoke about combat." After listening to Wendy, Olivia felt a little curious as to what weapons Draxus could be developing. "He's likely going to be reprimanded by Audrey..." The reason for that is because of a slight history that happened just after the appointment of new Sentinels. Draxus went and created a weapon for the official members of each member. But before he could give the weapons, Audrey noticed the effect on each weapon and chastised Draxus for making weapons that are too much to handle for the members. Olivia aside, Pauleen and Juniper could only make use of the weapons full potential once and have a shortage of mana afterwards. Because of that, every weapon Draxus made for members of the [Sentinels] have to be checked by Audrey and adjusted by Draxus later on.
"If I remember correctly, the weapons he gave me are the original swords that he had equipped before switching to the swords of the [Eight Souls]. So I can now switch weapons depending on the situation. What about yours?" Olivia brought out two swords that had completely different designs. One boosts her capabilities of using magic, and the other creates a barrier to protect her while it is equipped. "I believe they were guns. He created two different guns, one uses mana and the other uses actual bullets. It basically meant that I have a catalyst that instantly activates upon pulling the trigger. While the other is similar to the gun that he had on himself when he arrived to this world." Olivia and Wendy then reminisced about the personalized weapons that have been improved greatly for the other wives while Gwen had been given a staff that has functions of a microphone that uses song magic to support others.
After some time searching, they found Gwen in the [Story Section] of the library. The section itself was filled with books of both fiction and non-fiction stories that Draxus had bought around. They were organized neatly and ensured that they are made in order to pass a bit of time while waiting. "Gwen, did you see the others?" After calling out to Gwen, the three of them chatted a bit. "Well, I came here with Julie, but she went to the [Worldly Information Section]. There's one other section but it we received warnings from the caretakers to not think about going into it. But we were curious as to what it held." Gwen returned the book and hoped that she could bring some back at the castle after their tour. "Let's ask Drax about that later." The three of them went towards the other section where Julie was reading books about magic theory. After they found and called out to Julie, they were surprised by her concentration. She didn't respond to them and continued to read what was in the book. But after they came close, she finally took notice. "Ah, perfect timing. This book is truly surprising, because it was penned by Draxus himself." To their surprise, they were filled with even more questions as to what Draxus was doing before he arrived to the other world.
