On the southern side of Paladia, Wesley led his group of Sentinels to eliminate the knights that had descended from the skies. Since they were currently in Paladia right where the war happened between two heroes before. They weren't exactly worried about a pincer attack. However, the greater worry for Wesley is that he sensed two council members approaching from his shadow observers.
"Wesley, the council members are here, and as expected, they sent two against me. I will be needing a little help." Draxus quickly contacted Wesley through telepathy which made him signal to his members to handle the knights themselves. And within that instant, he teleported right next to Draxus who is currently facing two enemies at once. "I'm severely weakened right now without my full power, but we can do this mate." Draxus smiled as he faced a male and female duo that seemed to be ready to fight. However, Wesley noticed that the woman looked somewhat familiar. "Ho, so this youngster seems to know my identity? Very well, I'm Mnemosyne from the council. I'm here joining Crius to quickly eliminate Draxus Heimdal." Mnemosyne introduced herself before raising her catalyst book. "Kind of you to introduce yourself to be honest, but I have to get rid of you before you could do something!" Draxus launched hundreds of nails straight towards Mnemosyne which was deflected by a single barrier. "[Virgo's Protection]." Crius quickly defended Mnemosyne with a barrier and readied himself for battle. "[Scorpius Sting]." A giant whip-blade materialized in his hand and quickly made a counterattack through Wesley. "Gh!" With Wesley being barely able to dodge the attack by a shadow swap, he quickly made amendments to further himself with this stage of battle.
"We need to split them, follow my lead and timings, get a shadow between them two and teleport on my mark." Draxus quickly sent instructions to Wesley in telepathy while sending ice spikes and nails towards Mnemosyne. Mnemosyne quickly noticed the plan as she furrowed her eyebrows due to the meticulous planning and immediately formation of strategies Draxus had talent in. But instead of informing Crius to prevent them from executing their plan, she gave him a different plan on their own.
While there was a fierce exchange between Draxus overwhelming Crius and Mnemosyne with nails and ice spikes from off angles, Wesley was actually already setting up his attacks as he imbued the floor with complete darkness. "[That's Marked!" With that signal, he then forced Mnemosyne and Crius to slowly fall into the ground similar to quicksand. And with that timing, he took that opportunity to get in between them. "[Artifact Activation, Eternal Detector, Omnipotent Eye of Overseers]!" Wesley activated the effect in his armor which allowed him to see various things in his senses. He became able to see the flow of magic, energy, doubled with a mini-foresight ability that allows him to see what the next action both Crius and Mnemosyne will make. With his foresight, he quickly concluded that while Mnemosyne is much more vulnerable in the current position, dealing against Crius would be much more rewarding. "[Kingfisher Bladework Fantasia], [Masterclass]!" Wesley slid down and slashed Crius on the torso effectively while transitioning it into a spin around Crius to dodge his whip-sword and stabbing one of his daggers into his back. Without killing the momentum, he then spun once more to Crius's front and slashed forward while dashing through him and taking back the knight stabbed in him. "[Twisted Stars]" With such a successful attack, Crius was somewhat crippled while Draxus finally got an attack through the barrier which was disturbed. Multiple daggers pierced through Mnemosyne's body which made him crouch down in pain. In that moment, Draxus moved in between Mnemosyne and Crius to prevent them from aiding each other. Wesley moved one of his shadows between Draxus and Crius and swapped positions with it. With Draxus and Wesley back-to-back. They prepared their stances while Draxus managed to slip a tarot card into Wesley's pocket. Wesley took notice of Draxus's action which he immediately accepted the idea silently. "You two are definitely a tough opponent together. To think that a Sentinel is capable of fighting alongside an Archon perfectly..." Crius let out words of commendation towards the two of them. In that moment, Mnemosyne slowly stood up since there was a new barrier that covered her completely. "To think that we could get this cornered easily... [Pavo]!" A giant peacock tail quickly spread out behind Crius, since Wesley was the one facing him, he was immediately charmed for a split second due to the effect of seeing a beautiful tail spread out. But since he knew that he's still currently in the battlefield, he had to quickly stop Crius who started to advance towards them. He blocked the sword but it was immediately left alone by Crius, whose aim was to ensnare Draxus. "Drax!" Wesley quickly brought out the tarot card given to him by Draxus. "[Fortune Card II - High Priestess]!" Wesley immediately got a vision from the future of Draxus being restrained as he's slowly turning into a dangerous form with the Moon card active in reverse by force. "Shit! [Shadow Border]!"
Draxus dodged the sudden apprehension of Crius by dashing to the side. Wesley appeared in front of him which surprised Draxus a little bit and gave him a question in telepathy. "Did you see something from High Priestess?" Wesley nodded and quickly surrounded Draxus with his shadows to protect him from all sides. "They're forcing a soul reawakening. Their aim is you Drax." Draxus clicked his tongue as he now noticed the plans of the two council members. They wanted him to reawaken and wreck havoc killing friend or foe using a soul that's still out of control. With Zero sealed off and him being one of the strongest souls within him, they have no choice but to bring out a soul that's yet to be sealed in power. "Wesley, teleport near Matilda and bring her here to this fight. The more we have here the greater chance we avoid the reawakening." Wesley took a split second to teleport away and bring back Matilda into the battlefield with the two of them. "Matilda, focus on defense, their aim will be me here." Matilda nodded her head as she set herself ready for combat against council members with Draxus aiding her in support and Wesley keeping the front line. "Two minutes Wesley." With a small bit of instructions coming from his leader, Wesley suddenly felt a surge of power as he noticed Draxus activating another tarot card in reverse form. "[Fortune Card XII - Hanged Man]! [Reversed]!" In exchange for being unable to move while the card is active, Draxus massively boosts Wesley and Matilda's capabilities and gives them temporary boost of perception with his resonance. "I'll be boosting you two while preparing the full power. Go!" With a short telepathy to encourage them in their battle, Draxus went completely deep in his soul to prepare himself to temporarily unlock Serkyrio's [Ewiges Siegel] for the battle.
