"I have taken the dimensional distance, I'll be calculating the dimensional coordinates starting from tomorrow. Thank you for the progress given to us!" Harold was relieved as Serkyrio pretty much had given him the dimensional distance between the set worlds. He had a confirmation on his methods to finally make the gate back home but he pulls it back as he plans to start it tomorrow. He cut off the call and went straight to bed while thinking very deeply about the current state.
"Seeing as the difference between our dimensions is really big... I wonder..." He closed his eyes and began calculating. "It's normal to assume that there are five layers of dimensions, x-axis, y-axis, z-axis, those three will determine the dimensional plane of the inside world. However, for the remaining two which is spatial dimension axis and planar dimension axis? Those two are the ones where if I'm off by one number, I could end up landing in virtual space which is not a good sign. Besides, Serkyrio will probably contact me around the time when I wake..... Up..." Harold then felt something was off. "Time..." By the time he realized, he let out an awkward smile. "Crap, I forgot about the time axis." He then continued his pondering. "Speaking of time, how can I align this world to that world without messing up the time axis? The days here are somewhat longer by one hour, shrinking it to 24 hours a day... It's a little bit tricky..." Harold continued to calculate the spatial, planar, and time axes for the entire night without sleeping.
Back on Earth, Serkyrio began looking for good locations that are both difficult to locate by the people. Draxus's spot had potential but Serkyrio decided against it in respect to Draxus's wishes. But seeing that it's currently nighttime, Serkyrio felt that he could at the very least make active moves around the city to look for great spots.
"To think that it was this easy to make a portal back home... But then, it's hard to even identify if you got the correct dimension or not so it's a good thing that I did this." Serkyrio walked on the highway without gathering any suspicious gazes. He casually walked through as he blends himself in the dark whenever a police car approaches. he took the walk as something of leisure, without any rush as he collects his thoughts on certain situations. "Knowing that Harold was actually about to sleep, this means that time axis is already aligned to be honest. I'm no dimensional magic scientist but I pretty much understand the concept." After arriving to an area with more forest, Serkyrio finally entered the depths of nature and noticed a power presence nearby. He left a mark and took a picture of within the area as he will progress tomorrow.
He used magic to create a portal back to the city and booked in for a night in the hotel. He then slept for the time being as there was pretty much almost no danger to the surroundings. He moved to the reception of a hotel that's still open in midnight and immediately booked a room. He paid the appropriate amount of money before heading in to a room around the eighth floor. He gazed over the beautiful view of the city at night with all the lights glowing around the area. He then brewed some tea and settled down for the time being.
The next day, Serkyrio woke up and immediately made his preparations to continue his progress on looking for a good spot. He brewed some tea first to feel energized and awake. Then changed his clothes and checked out from the hotel that he's currently staying.
After creating a portal back to the area, he immediately recognized that the landmark he made has been removed. The presence which was detected before grew stronger as the range of it either widened, or it's closer. However, that wasn't enough to faze Serkyrio from his progress. He walked forward deeper into the forest and kept himself on guard. This time, he was carrying a long halberd which reached about a meter and a half in terms of length.
The forest didn't contain any danger despite having a threatening presence in the wide area it covered. This led to Serkyrio making an assumption that there might be something ominous. Eventually, while walking deeper into the forest, Serkyrio noticed that his actions were slightly flinching and wavering. "My will is being tested...?" He narrowed his eyes while keeping an attentive stance over the atmosphere which slowly starts to turn dark. Clouds gathered within the area and slowly darkened down to a shade of gray. Serkyrio continued in his search as he finally enters a more open area within the forest. It was then he found three people, one male and two female with far from modern clothing. He immediately judged them as suspicious as the clothing style matched from the people in the world where he was [Isekai'ed] on. He tried to boost his hearing with magic, but it was instantly noticed as the man shouted loudly. "Where are you?! Reveal yourself!" He took out a bow which made Serkyrio immediately hide to prevent them from finding him. However, just as he hid, his instincts immediately rang and forced himself to dive-roll out of his old position. "Tch!!" Lightning struck down on the position he escaped from. He closed his eyes as his sight would've received some damage, while his hearing already received minor damage from the attack. After he opened his eyes, he immediately detected a huge amount of magic coming up towards the sky. He traced the source and found the man holding a bow firing an arrow of light straight to the sky. Serkyrio narrowed his eyes and immediately took out the diamond gem from his interdimensional storage. "[Absorb and collect, merge the magic, and return it to them at full force]!" A large overhead shield was generated above him and immediately blocked a wide pillar of light that landed on his position. The shield's color slowly turned from from white to yellow, absorbing the converged laser slowly but surely. Serkyrio thought that this will be smooth-sailing, but it was instantly turning south as he immediately recognized that the shield began to waver in it's effect. The source of that issue was from one of the two girls who shouted while having a bright aura. She was carrying a balance over her left shoulder to her back, while her appearance was not easily recognizable because of the glow. However, the three people each had blond hair, golden eyes, like they're triplets. "A test of will huh? You think... You can waver me?!" Serkyrio stood up and fired the converged laser back to them. He tried to close in the position afterwards and interrogate the three people. But just as he closed the position, the three targets had already disappeared. The pressure within the area disappeared and the clouds started to clear up. He stood still, remained on guard and slowly expanded his senses throughout the area. There was a possibility of obliterating the enemies but Serkyrio, seeing as his enemies have very powerful abilities, isn't going to follow that naïve manner of thinking. He remained on guard and eventually noticed that the three targets are escaping the area, he even managed to eavesdrop to their conversation. "Quick, let's just retreat for the time being as our cover is blown. Cronus will-" Beyond that point was already inaudible due to the distance between them. However, Serkyrio didn't miss the most important part. "Cronus huh...?" Serkyrio knew exactly that name not just from the mythology, but also from the reports that came from Audrey, Jay, and Maria. "The council is planning something here. Yet, they brought everything with them and left nothing for me to collect as information. There even was a large magic circle placed here and it was removed before I could examine... Not good, if this council is preventing magic from being used in certain areas in that world... Then what are they doing in here?" Serkyrio sat down on a nearby log to process all the information.
