Olivia, Gwen, Juniper, and Pauleen ran straight towards the headquarters and tried to look for a place to hide for the time being. Gwen's clothes were ripped around as it was close to exposing unnecessary parts. While running towards the headquarters, both Gwen and Olivia felt a powerful magic pass through their position and stopped just in front with twenty meters of air separating them. A silhouette of a person could be seen as the moonlight slowly reveals the owner of the shadow. "Axel..." Olivia muttered as she readied the two swords she had [Borrowed] from Draxus. "We can't help it... We have to knock him down here." After Olivia moved in front of Gwen to protect her, Pauleen brought out her bow and immediately aimed at Axel while Juniper activated her magic and brought out a black pair of angel wings. Gwen was shaking badly, as the three were beginning to fight to protect her, even while risking their own lives. "Everyone... Why...?" She was beginning to doubt her own self as she didn't feel that she was deserved to be protected. Olivia thought about stepping forward first but she noticed Gwen's shaky behavior. "Pauleen, Juniper, can you try to stall him for as long as possible?" She was easily given a nod as Pauleen and Juniper dashed around and began their attack. Arrows were fired and black feathers were shot from a distance. Axel began to dodge around and avoid the attacks while looking for a good chance as his sped up time had worn off. Olivia turned her gaze towards Gwen while keeping a certain magic active. "Gwen! We are saving you because it's not only Draxus, but we also want to do so!" Gwen tried to deny those words but before she could even start, Olivia had already understood what she was about to say. "Are you thinking you're not worthy?! Then what about him? You love him right?! I know, everyone knows! Even he knows! And he wants us to feel the same! To feel loved just like him! So please, if you wish to be at his side, stand with me together, we'll show him that we can stand together with him, alright?" Gwen's heart fluttered as Olivia went back to face against Axel who continued deflecting arrows and dodging shots. She shook her head once more while keeping Olivia's words in mind. After thinking for a little bit more, and having a flashing image of him visiting and singing for her once, a slight blush could be found in her cheeks. It was then she finally realized her simple wish to be by the side of a certain frosty person. She shook her head sideways and prepared her own magic to assist the others. Olivia took a glance over her shoulder and saw Gwen's resolute expression. She smiled on instinct as she let her thoughts speak without a sound. "I won't lose easily. Specially if it's for him." She turned back to Axel who was focusing his lustful gaze on both Gwen and herself. She activated the magic that was enchanted on both swords as she formed a defensive stance. "[Kingfisher Bladework Fantasia Intermediate Dual]" She muttered in a low voice as Axel instantly dashed towards their position while avoiding the incoming projectiles towards him. "Olivia!" Pauleen shouted to warn her, as Axel's two golden swords started to shine with a faint gold color. Olivia smoothly shifted her position while Gwen moved away to avoid the incoming blow while getting slightly worried about Olivia. However, while moving away, she activated a magic that will boost the speed of herself and her allies. "[Accelerando]!" Olivia who received the magic boost fully utilized it as she used the combat style Draxus created with ease. "[Twirling Wind]!" With only two steps made towards the side, she swiftly avoided the incoming attacks while landing two slices which avoided clashing against Axel's swords. After that short exchange of attacks, Axel passed through beyond her with some damage while Olivia remained unscathed. "Y-You!!!" With an enraged expression, Axel gripped the swords tighter as he tried to attack Olivia within close range, but before he could attempt to do so, Pauleen and Juniper provided support towards Olivia as she distanced herself away from Axel. She checked Gwen's position before preparing herself to be placed on another stance. Gwen on the other hand prepared another magic to support the three. "[Harmony]! [Octave]!" Their bodies felt a lot lighter which allowed them to move a lot more freely. In addition to that, their bodies felt more power and magic surging into them as their magic potency was amplified to a certain extent. Pauleen turned her gaze towards Juniper while asking her for something with a gaze, to which Juniper immediately knew.
Juniper closed her distance towards Pauleen who was beckoning her to come, Olivia and Gwen noticed that Pauleen is thinking about a plan which made them think of a way to stall for time. A fierce exchange of dodges and counterattacks were done as Olivia tried to continuously dodge and avoid all attacks. Eventually, her barrier has began receiving damage from Axel's attacks just barely to feel the barrier fluctuating. Her attacks have become less and lesser when it comes to connecting against Axel trying to predict her attacks. With a painful stalemate which could lead to a loss if prolonged, Olivia was hoping that Juniper and Pauleen finished up their setup.
A few more exchanges occurred before Pauleen finally warned Olivia and Gwen to distance themselves from Axel with a shout. She then shot arrows which failed to land as they were deflected by Axel to an entirely different direction. Juniper didn't miss the very small gap that was made and had black feathers aimed towards his limbs to remove their senses temporarily, forcing him to kneel down and unable to move. Pauleen moved behind Axel and pinned him down as she placed her hand on his back. She channeled a huge amount of magic for half a minute before golden chains appeared from portals that materialized around Axel, chaining down his heroic power. Pauleen drew her bow and kept it aimed at Axel's head before interrogation began as Olivia closed in. "Who are the people above you?" Axel clicked his tongue and shouted back in response. "Cheh! Why would I tell you that?!" He received a slap from Olivia as she asked him the question once more. "I'll ask you again, who are those mysterious priests around you? Why is there a ritual involving the chastity of the Deaconess?" Axel turned his face away in annoyance. "Keh! I don't have any intention of telling you about them. All girls are just tools for guys in the end." He returned his gaze to face Olivia as it was filled with a disgusting level of lust. "Look at yourself, you plan to just let yourself get used by that sentinel d*ck. It's not to late to run away fro-" Pauleen discharged an arrow which grazed Axel's hair, stopping him from continuing his lustful talk. "Sorry but these two girls you're aiming for have pledged for Draxus, and he's not that kind of person since I myself am a decently long time friend of his." Pauleen drew another arrow quickly and kept her aim at Axel. "Tch! So it was you who sealed my hero powers? Quite an interesting ability you have there." Pauleen narrowed her eyes in suspicion as she prepared to fire another arrow against Axel. "What about my power? Sorry but you won't be getting your hero powers back, you're just a normal human for the rest of your life." After hearing those words, Axel laughed despite the situation looked very bad against him. Olivia had two swords ready to cut off his head, Pauleen with her bow ready, Juniper surrounding him with feathers, and Gwen who is currently using magic that prevents his body from making a recovery. "What's funny?" Olivia calmly asked Axel while he was laughing which helped him slow down. "Fuhaha... Naïve... Very naïve! I'll show you reality! [Hero's Card]!" Pauleen dropped her hold on the arrow, launching it to the back of Axel's head but everything was blown away from a generated barrier that extended from his body. All four girls let out a groan as they stood up and witnessed Axel focusing on a card that floats in front of his two golden swords that were crossed. "[Full Ascension! Seal Breaker]!" A blinding pillar of golden light rose up and brightened the moonlit sky. A powerful endless surging power came swirling into his barrier as he begins to absorb every bit of power within the area. All of a sudden, a gaseous light could be seen flowing out of Gwen as she kneels down in lethargy. "Gwen!" Olivia ran towards Gwen's position to immediately check on her. "Are you alright?!" Olivia began to panic as she poured magical energy into Gwen, but she was stopped. "Stop Axel... He's taking the energy from the citizens attached to this country..." Olivia widened her eyes as she turned her gaze towards Axel who was holding two golden swords, with his hair extending down to his waist, and his armor turning into shades of white and gold. A pair of golden wings could be seen spreading out from his back, and a shining halo appeared over his head to provide his entire body with a blinding glow.
