Amanda stood beside the chair looking outside the window ,she have been expecting Marie to return from the cafeteria

"please let go before we go late l don't want to miss the party" they both headed to exist door from the school gate . Amanda kept looking at her watch to know the time because she won't be able to endure her aunt anger . they arrived at their destination they paid their fares and bade each other good bye . Amanda went in to the house tiptoeing to her room but to her luck her aunt is not home she was glad so she turn and head to the kitchen to have lunch then after lunch she tidy up the house and went to study but instead of studying she was thinking about her mom . she took her picture from her closet and begin to stare at it remembering their wonderful time together, the accident that claim her life Amanda hug the picture
"mom I got the scholarship to study at the most prominent and expensive college in the country..... and I am so happy I wish you were here to rejoice with me . Amanda sigh and continue," I know you are proud of me and I will continue to make you proud of me. Amanda look at the picture tracing the image of her mom with her fingernail ."mom my first time at school they was boring every one treat me like trash because I am a middle-class girl.... but you know what mom very soon everyone will accept me. she said and kiss the picture and hug it , smiling and thinking about her mom until she fell asleep

Nate huff a huge smoke from his mouth .
he was upset because of the fight he had with his father his mother (step-mom) had come to his rescue as usual, then his father began to blame her for spoiling him when he couldn't take it anymore he left the house.
Nate took a huge sip of the drink by his side. Nate never know his biological mother as she died long ago when giving birth to him. Then his father had hired a nanny for him which was his step-mom , later got married to her because he saw she loved an took care of him as if he was her own child though she could not conceive because she was infertile but she couldn't stop loving and caring for him. since childhood his father had never had time for him he was always busy with one thing or the other so he became very close to his step-mom who in turn showers him with love . Nate phone interrupted his thought

"please Nate come home I am worried about you ... and also your dad has traveled on a business trip"
