Nate was irritated when someone bump into him but was more irritated when he saw that the person was admiring him instead of apologizing . He went to the library he took a book and start reading just then someone sat beside him he recognized her she was the school bitch Diana but he completely ignore her ,but then she started flirting with him then he stood up and left with out saying a word she was embarrassed and furious but Nate did not care. He had been in a relationship once but break up when he realized he never loved his girlfriend it was a easy break up since his girlfriend was already in love with some one they are still friends but a distant one apart from that he has slept with alot of girls in High school to know what they want. His father is rich and famous so everyone wants to use him to get money or fame. that is while despite being rich he avoided the social Media and refuse to go to any business trip or meeting with his dad. He is handsome, rich and the heir of his father's multi-billionaire company but he choose to live a silent life with no friends and no family except his mom and dad. Nate have everything luxurious cars, a penthouse, a private mansion and a healthy bank account but he did not want any one in his life as his significant other. he is not ready to love and be loved.
Nate was heading home when the lighting strike and a heavy rain began to fall so he waited for the rain to stop before going home he looked around no one was in the library except him so he took a seat beside the window until he heard a sound he turn to see the girl he hated at first sight sitting behind him,she was very wet from the rain fall and obviously shivering, she is wearing a cotton dress which was above her kneel , her red hair wet but her innocent face looks worried about something. He turn his face towards another direction before she caught him staring
"hey ?
he glance at her then completely ignore her but it seems she won't give up. so he pretended she wasn't there
"my name is Amanda what's yours" she said softly giving him a beautiful dimpled smile.
he did not answer
"I heard your name is Nate
Nate. glance at her amuse if she knows his name why bother asking then. she seems quite for second the he turn to see her staring at him admiringly, he rise a eyebrow she blushed and look away then he turn and start pressing his phone when he heard the sound of her shattering teeth he glance at her and caught her trying to get close to him . he glared at her but soften a bit she apologized then he off his hoodie and give it to her but Amanda was so cold and surprise to reach for it then he come close to her and help her to wear it sending a sensation down her body , she was staring at him shocked after helping her to wear his hoodie he walked far away from her but after some minutes he saw her by his side and was startled
"hey thanks for the cloth" she said shy
He still continue looking at her startled after he recovered he raised an eyebrow
"well am so sorry for startling you it's just that even after giving me your sweater I just couldn't feel warm so I decide to come close to you" she said innocently without the thinking of the meaning
Nate stared at her then turn to leave the room for her he was irritated but she grab his hand
"Don't leave please?
Nate look at her small fingers holding his , sending an unusual sensation inside him ,then he snatch his fingers away from her grip then put it in his pocket
"am sorry"
Nate sigh heavily and seat back on the chair closing his eyes.
"Thanks"
she said startling him again because she was too close
"look stop coming close to me"
Amanda was surprised he finally speak
"wow you speak I can't believe it or am I hallucinating?
Nate look at her an shake his head with disgust he have never met a girl like her inspite of himself he find her company interesting he smirk then look at the window to see if the rain have stop but the rain was now drizzling so he walk out of the lab towards his car Amanda followed him but he ignored her after entering his car he began to drive but pause when he saw Amanda from his side mirror standing in the rain looking at his car, he turn and drive towards her, with out waiting for a word she entered the car . then she began to fumble with the sit belt for some minutes before looking at Nate for help but Nate who has been looking at her amused hesitate before leaning towards her to help her with the sit belt accidentally touching her hip which send electric wave through her body but Nate withdraw he seems unaffected by the touch Infact his expression seems neutral
they drive away only to meet another heavy storm which made them stop by the road
