" Hello mrs Daniels, I have a lead. There was a witness " he said.
" A witness?" I asked to be sure I heard him right the first time.
" Yes , a middle aged woman claimed to have seen the murderer running into the forest while she was getting medicinal herbs for her sick husband.
She said heard the leaves rustling and that the murderer came out from the direction,she never knew he was a murderer but she noticed he was moving in a suspicious manner and increased his pace as he kept looking back to see if anyone was following .
She suspected him as soon as she heard of the murder but She couldn't come out to say what she saw because her husband wouldn't allow her. He was scared that she might get herself involved in a messy situation.
" Alright did she notice the killer's features or maybe she saw his face?" I asked silently hoping he would give an affirmative answer.
