Would you like to equip new items?"
"What should I do now?" asked Charlie
"Your neural interphase reacts to the commands you give it, it is pretty simple. Just think about equipping the items" Suri looked quite academic, like a little teacher giving a lesson. She obviously enjoyed it.
"Alright" said Charlie.
He thought "Equip"
Suddenly a faint red light surrounded his body, in the blink of an eye his old farmer clothes where replace with a solid black armor. The armor perfectly fit his body shape, he couldn't even feel it over his body. There was a meter long silver sword on his right hand and a long metallic bow on his left his head was covered on a dark red cape the hanged all the way to his ankles and a black silk mask covered most of his face only leaving the eyes visible.
"Ohh master you look so handsome!" Suri was clearly happy with the results
"I am not going to lie, this is pretty cool" Charlie was happy, he never really had much things before. In the past his belongings where limited to a few working clothes and some books that Mr. Meyer instructed him to read.
Now Charlie had armor weapons and a fairy! He felt like one of the adventurers from the stories he had read.
"Master you can also put away things into the ruby chamber, try storing the sword and the bow"
"Ok" On the same instant Charlie thought about putting them out the sword and the bow disappeared once again.
"Perfect, this is great." Said Suri with a happy tone "The old master has a few more surprises waiting for you, but first let's get you accustomed to your new equipment. Follow me."
Suri flew toward the wall opposite to the stone pedestal where Charlie had picked up the necklace.
Suddenly the wall disappeared like it wasn't even there in the first place. Suri signaled Charlie to follow her.
The next chamber was huge. The ceiling walls seemed to go all the way up and banish into the darkness above their heads.
Charlie looked back but the door had disappeared and now a stone wall had taken its place once more. In front of them there was a few hundred tall wall spilt in two by a large opening."
"This is a small training ground the old master prepared for you, a challenge if you will. You need to make it to the other side. The next steps will be instructed to you then" Suri seemed very serious now.
"Anything I should know in advance?" asked Charlie, he was suddenly feeling exited.
"Just be careful master. Remember, the only way out is forward." She seemed nervous.
"Alright, forward it is" Charlie looked toward the opening on the wall. A thick mist was covering the entrance.
The mist seemed to be contained within the stone entryway, nothing could be seen beyond it.
Charlie hesitated for a moment took a deep breath a walked "Forward..." he thought.
When he arrived to the entryway he stopped for a moment and stretched his hand, the mist was very thick.
Swosh
Suddenly the silver colored sword was in his right hand. He slowly stabbed the mist and then quickly pulled it back out. A small stream of mist came out behind it and dissipated in the air.
Charlie took a deep breath and walked towards the mist. His heart was racing once again.
