Her mother was a fair maiden that was blessed with the power to see demons and angels. No one knew why, or how she became blessed with that power. But God saw this and asked one of his angels to watch over the maiden. Because God knew that a girl like her would fall into the wrong hands.
But sadly even angels can fall victim to sin.
After years of watching over Guinevere, the angel fell for her pureness. They both fell into sin one day, breaking one of God's highest rules.
Guinevere fell pregnant after that day. God disowned the angel because of the sin he had committed. And sadly humans are not meant to carry angels children. So in the end Guinevere passed during child birth.
Her parents were shocked when they saw small wings sprouting from the newborns back. Even the heavens were shocked. How could a human have enough angel blood to have wings?
Little Katerina was left to her grandparents. She had reached the age of 10 when robbers stumbled across their small cottage in the woods. The robbers were blow away when they saw the small girl.
The small girl with a pair of pure white wings sprouting from her back. The grandparents were killed that day and the girl was snatched away into a life that was not fit for anyone of such a pure heart.
God knew this would happen. But in the end he could not do anything for the small girl because she was born from pure sin. And he knew that she had a bigger purpose in the world....

Katerina was now a young woman. For the past year she has been hiding from everyone. She had learned how to conceal her wings when she was 16 years of age. Once she found out she could hide what she was for the most part. She fought back. But it was not until years later that she was able to gain her freedom.
She held powers that everyone wanted. Like her angel ancestors, she could see and cross the line between the dimensions. She also had the power to heal any wound or sickness. Only on other people though.
She had learned that the hard way after she was beat for not revealing her wings to a man that wanted to use her power. Her wounds would heal like a normal humans.
And her wings on her back were strong, but from years of being kept in a cage and having to hide them she has never been able to see if they could carry her. And she was to scared to even try with so many people seeking her out.
When she was finally able to escape, she found a small boat and took to the sea. Because she had so much angel blood in her, Ester was not able to see her presence.
A year later Ateez showed up to face Ester for the hourglass. Ester not knowing about the girls existence made the deal with the pirates. Believing they would fail... but she was wrong...
