The majestic black and red doors flung open, Griffin strolled inside. Red and blue filled the entire boss room, flames everywhere, lively dancing around. It was hotter than the previous room but Griffin is used to the heat, so that didn't affect him. The boss room was pretty bland, but there was something in the distance. It looked like a massive pillar or a skyscraper, a looming shadowy figure. Griffin couldn't make out exactly what it was, so he extended out his space distance. A circular non visible area that allows Griffin to pick up anything within the area. A moment later, a huge rumble echoed in the chamber. Then followed by another one, the shadowy figure appears to be moving closer. Griffin knew that the huge being was going to be the boss.
"Why would this be an easy boss? Shitty dungeon so far, so of course the boss is going to be a pain in the ass," said Griffin.
"Ha ha ha," said the on coming figure each step leaving behind massive footprints and thunderous sounds. The boss was finally coming into light, the fire all around him illuminating his presence. A marching band parading through the fire, drums of destruction ringing through Griffin's ears. Griffin is completely unfazed, he has been in a situation like this many times over.
"For someone who is about to be a slave of mine for eternity, you don't seem scared? Well I assume it must be your confidence. That foolish old man was indeed strong. I hope you can bring me some entertainment" The monster spoke with a deep menacing voice, glaring his ferocious teeth with its powerful jawline. A thick thirty foot long tail creeping behind the monster. Bright silver steel claws hanging from its tiny arms. Thousands of snakes drooping from its head baring its venomous teeth at Griffin. Scales crawling all around the beast's body, It was a tyrannosaurus rex with thousands of snakes as hair. Griffin floated up to look at the hideous creature in the eyes, but his eyes were closed. He was worried about the snakes's eyes turning him into stone. (Better to be safe than sorry, I have heard too much about medusa. One of these days I am going to be correct.)
" I am not strong nor weak. Strong people look forward into their path. Me... I am stagnant. Anways, I don't want to be here any longer than I have to," Griffin said with his eyes still closed. He didn't need them open to begin with, he can still "see" everything perfectly fine.
"Don't tell me you came in here to get revenge for those extras in my game show? I watched it all, hilarious stuff seeing them beg for their lives," The T-rex boasts to Griffin.
"Nah, this is between you and me. I just want to do my job and move on," replied Griffin. Griffin was concentrating a lot of his energy into his right hand, creating a ball of energy coated with air condensed space around them. He fired it at the beast with no hesitation, simultaneously the t-rex shot out a huge pillar of fire counter attacking Griffin's attack. The attack blocking the view of Griffin, he takes this chance to fly to the right of the fifty meter giant. Griffin was met with hundreds of snakes prepared for him, mini fire beams released from their mouths.
"Time space level fifteen air castle"
Multiple layers of hardened air formed in front of Griffin blocking the fire lasers in front of Griffin. A few of them soar right by Griffin, him not feeling the need to block unnecessary attacks. Especially the ones he knows are not going to hit him.
Sorry guys and gals, I am now going to be taking over the narration, this is your captain speaking, Griffin. First, I have to make myself clear on something. Fighting this thing is a very hard thing for me to do. The reason being is because dinosaurs are so cool. I hate snakes so that will make my job easier. Especially since they can also shoot fire out of their mouths. That was a BIG shocker. Tyrannosauruses are my favorite dinosaur as well. Their tiny little hands are so cute to me, and It's hilarious. Uh oh, here comes the tail swipe, but that's an easy dodge. This thing is huge, I might actually have to do a slightly more powerful attack than usual to be able to kill the dinosaur.
"It seems like you're not completely useless Griffin. While you were entertaining me, I didn't think you would be a capable fighter. Then you completely shocked me, when you called that old fart a weakling. It made my blood boil in anticipation for this fight, please live up to the expectations," said the boss.
"I called him weak because he was still living under your own rules," replied Griffin. I take out three of my kunai, one in my right hand and the others floating by my sides. The T-rex let out a loud war cry, in my experience this was bad news. This usually meant reinforcement.(Why do dungeon bosses always act tough even though they always have help. Fight me by yourself) The ground beneath them began to shake, I could sense movement. Finally, thousands of skeleton warriors and wait a damn minute are those fire rats! The huge rats with tails and at the tip was a ball of fire. This fire was growing every second, like a scorpion's tail it pointed at me and hurled the balls of fire at me. Hundreds of fireballs came flying, but this was nothing. Flying projectiles are easy to deal with, so I stuck my hand out and stopped the balls in the air. It was like telekinesis, I controlled the air around each attack. I threw them all back down to the ground. It was raining fire or would I call it hailing fire? While I was distracted with the rats, the dinosaur was loading up a special attack. Like a kid playing a fighting game only using hold down techniques because that was the most powerful.(This is how Lily plays and I am always dumb enough to think I can hit her before she does the attack.) The source of energy was flowing inside the beast's stomach, some of it, moving up towards the snakes. It flowed into the snakes' mouths releasing another barrage of searing hot beams of fire. Simultaneously, the monster opened Its mouth shooting a huge building of fire. I could dodge it, but then there would be no end to this battle. So I phased through everything. I existed on a plane of reality only I can live in. It's a pretty cheap move, I know, but I don't care. I went through the fire and beams untouched, I moved to the stomach of the beast. Under Its jaw, out of its vision, summoning all of the surrounding space and adding a tiny bit of my own energy into my fist. I rocketed up to the bottom of the dinosaur's mouth pushing off solidified air and gave him an uppercut. The impact of my punch creating a shockwave and lifting the colossal titan(LOL) in the air. I put my hands together clenching them, focusing my energy in the palms of hands. I thrusted my hands into the stomach of the reptile, sending ripples throughout the surface of it's hard scales, similar to a rock dropped into a puddle. I sent my energy through the beast. It went completely through, exiting out of the back of the dinosaur. Damaging the insides of the beast. I used a good space into that attack, finishing my two strikes. The monster catching air and the force of the attack sending it flying away. Making a huge banging noise when it landed.
"Looks like you're not all talk either, actually not really I take my previous statement back, you are weak but a great punching bag," said Griffin. Griffin expressed a confident smile. The dinosaur slowly got back up on its feet. Large amounts of blood spewing out of its mouth.
"Wha-" Griffin losing vision for a second. Griffin shaking his head in confusion.
"Now this is a boss battle! Now the battle will really begin," claiming the boss of the dungeon.
"Griffin hasn't realized it yet but he has been slowly descending down, only a few feet from the ground. Griffin hasn't noticed yet due to his abilities, he is rarely caught off guard, but he is in fact poisoned. The snakes on the dinosaur's head have been releasing a deadly poison in the air. Each attack of the snakes were also coated in poison making it easier to get inside of Griffin's system.
"Finally my real attack has landed," the monster says with a sinister laugh covered in his own blood from Griffin's attack.
"I thought I was going to die before the poison actually affected you. You're built a lot tougher than you look."
Griffin was not fully able to comprehend the words being told to him. His brain is a complete mess. Griffin put his left hand to his heart to stop all toxins from entering. His right hand is also trying to find all of the poison in his body and filter them out of his body. This was an extremely difficult process because his abilities heavily rely on his mental strength. He was in a tough spot. The dungeon boss knew not to give him enough time to heal.
The villain roared for a second time. The skeletons and rats were brought back to life with one mission, to attack Griffin.
