"Nothing in this world is a coincidence, it's all destined and certain to occur. The path is already decided, we are just mere puppets walking on that path and we can never change it, no matter how hard we try."
Scarlett's POV
I saw the dream, I lived the dream. I know now, what my past is, what my purpose of living on this earth is and why I am a part of Liam's life. It was hard to believe, it was something that my brain refused to accept. But everything felt real to me, as if I was once Aiden and my connection with Liam was divine. My task now is to make Liam remember his past, but will I be successful?

Liam laughed, "HAhahahaha, what Scarlett you saw a dream in which you were a mute boy, who was killed and I was a girl who loved that boy. How interesting!".
"You believe that this is a message from the heavens informing us about our past lives and you think I should also believe you. Come on Scarlett, you can't be that childish," Liam joked.
*But, if you won't believe me and try to remember your past life, something terrible will happen to us.* Scarlett gestured trying to convince Liam.
"Huh! Nothing bad will happen. Do not worry I am here to protect us," Liam comforted her and planted a soft kiss on her forehead, then proceeded to put on his shoes.
The floor beneath Scarlett had shattered by then, she knew she can't make Liam believe what she saw. Liam is a very aristocratic wide-minded person, he would never believe in destiny and fate. His love is definitely real for Scarlett, but he believes that a person gets fruits from their own karma. Scarlett just stood there speechless watching Liam leave. Her body was numb, she was feeling the pain Hazel and Aiden felt. The Almighty's words echoed in her head like jingle bells. Were they the bells from the almighty or the bells from the heavens telling them that this is how it will end for Scarlett and Liam? Is this how they will again separate and then search for each other for decades in the abyss of the realm?
Liam on the other hand, paid no heed to Scarlett's words. He was very carefree and went on to carry on his daily routine. Little did he know that he had broken the heart of his girl and left her in a dilemma because now she was all alone who would fight for her and Liam's safety? That day was no less than a usual day for Liam. He was cross-checking some files when his eyes suddenly landed on the picture of Scarlett which was kept on the table. He adored her babyish smile and how innocent she looked even after being an adult. It reminded him of the first time he met her, she looked cute and too scared as if everyone around her would gobble her up. He smiled to himself, reminiscing the old days when they were just teenagers and the young seed of love between them was just planted. Then suddenly his mind drifted to the time when he lost Scarlett and thought he would never find her back.
Liam took out a diary from the side drawer, oh yes this was it, he thought to himself. He opened the diary and it contained all the little information about Scarlett he had written in the past when he was on the verge of forgetting his memories.
Liam's Pov
I was scanning through the diary when I thought, is it not strange to believe that why did I only lose Scarlett's part of my memories, why did I not forget anything else and why did everyone around me still not remember Scarlett as the teenage girl? Mia and Sam think that Scarlett is the girl I married but they do not remember the good old times we had together. I got reminded of that old forgotten dream I had where an old man showed up, the similar old man Danny drew on his drawing. For a fraction of a second, my heart told me to believe Scarlett because even though a modern man, I am not an atheist, I do not believe in destiny and rebirth.
Earlier in the morning Scarlett did look very scared. Fright was written all over her face as if she had seen a devil. "AH", I screamed and pulled my hair, how stupid I am to leave her all alone full of fright. I even made fun of her dream, maybe she genuinely was worried. Instead of comforting her and spending time with her, I ran away. How worse can I make the situation for her? Wasting no time I ran with my office bag towards my car. Holy cow, my phone rang and it was Mr. Salvatore. He was in a hurry and he asked me to immediately visit his office since it was extremely urgent. I cursed under my breath and then whispered a small sorry to my dear Scarlett. After meeting Mr. Salvatore I accelerated my car towards my house, and a red bouquet rested on the passenger's seat. I was overwhelmed with emotions, my mind was debating whether I should really believe Scarlett or not. I was scared that Scarlett might hate me now, but happy that I was able to complete my work on time and return so that I can talk to Scarlett. My stomach churned and now I wanted to reach my place as soon as possible.

Liam took a sharp turn on the road and accelerated at high speed, he ignore the traffic signals and continued racing his car until a truck came from the left path of the road and crashed into Liam's car. His head hit the steering wheel and blood oozed from his head. His eyes were half opened and he saw the bouquet which rested on the seat. He tried to speak but the words died in his mouth and he blacked out due to excess loss of blood.
