Liam's work got over real soon and now he was returning back to his country. For once he thought he should go and check for Scarlett but then he stopped himself from doing so. He didn't want to look desperate and needy.
*Why do I keep thinking about that village girl?* he asked himself. *Argghhh!! She is messing with my brain*...
he screamed and pulled his hair.
1 month later
Liam's pov
Someone knocked on the door vigorously.
"Who is it? Early morning"
I rubbed my sleepy eyes and stormed to the main door to be met by two faces whom I didn't wanna see. They had practically destroyed my day.
They were my parents.
"What do you want?", I asked coldly. My father showed me a picture of yet another girl who looked bitchy and a gold digger. For the past 5 years, my parents have been nagging me for getting settled with a girl and plan kids but I always denied it. I myself do not know the reason for my denial but I did. I shoved away from the picture and said," I don't want to marry, I have told you already."
"Why Liam?", mother asked furiously.
"Now it's getting on our nerves. Why don't you want to marry? Are you perhaps gay?", she questioned my sexuality.
"Think whatever you want", I told them and went away to my room.
In my room I settled on a chair then my eyes caught the attention of a diary kept on the shelf. The same diary has a girl's description whose name is Scarlett. I opened it and kept on reading every detail I had written, for once my heart said that this Scarlett was the village one Scarlett but my brain denied it. I was swiping through the pages when I found a red thread in the diary. I don't know what flew through my mind but I decided to tie it in my hand.

It seemed that destiny had already planned to reunite these two. This time Liam wore the thread which Scarlett wore years back. That day after returning back from his work Liam had a good sleep...
"Scarlett, Scarlett ", he whispered...
A cute 17-year-old girl was standing in front of him. But realization struck him and then he found his own reflection in the mirror...But wait he is a boy and the reflection is of a girl. He touched his face and scanned his body, he had a body of a girl but his heart, brain feelings everything of a boy. His soul was practically living in Scarlett's body...
Every moment spends with Liam and every incident from Scarlett's life occurred. He was experiencing it and then he realized how harsh he was on her all the time despite loving her he couldn't cherish her and now he has lost her. But if he has lost her then what was this all happening. How could he replace Scarlett and live her life...
He was lost in his thoughts when his leg slipped and he fell down on the cold floor. His eyes shot open, he looked around himself only to find him back in his room lying flat on the floor. His head ached due to the sudden fall and hit on the floor.
"Ahhh!!", he woke up astonished gazing at his surroundings.
He scanned around himself and then to his body. He was back to being Liam.
"What was this happening?", he was now very surprised.
He thought deeply about it and now was pretty sure the girl he met in the village and his Scarlett were the same women.
Every flashback was clear in his brain. How he found her?
How he fought with her and how he fell in love with her?
After that, he even lost her...
This was his last chance but the only thing which disturbed him was whether Scarlett will accept him or not?
What if she denied remembering him?
He knew that he cannot live without her and he somehow has to bring her back.
Something struck him and he quickly went to search his closet and clothes.
"Where is it? ", he said to himself...
He was searching for the other red thread which Scarlett had left back years ago.
IN THE VILLAGE
Scarlett was cleaning her room when she found a red thread sticking under a wooden chair.
It was a very simple piece of thread but looked so appealing and she tied it around her wrist.
Her body twitched a bit and she closed her eyes. Some flashes of memory ran in front of her eyes.
She ignored them and then continued to do her chores.
Soon Night fell and she laid on the bed to sleep.
That night Scarlett had a dream where she was living Liam's life. She saw herself in front of her eyes.
She could see how painful and pathetic she was.
How everyone despised her until Liam came and cherished her.
In the morning when she woke up everything was as clear as crystal for her.
She knew she had a past but she had decided not to repeat it again.
She knew Liam will come back to take her but this time she won't go with him. Why?
Because she doesn't want to burden other people. Liam did enough for her and now she doesn't want favors from anyone else. She was happy with her life, her parents, and she choose to live like this.
She decided to let the past go away and even Liam. She will forget him forever. Of course, she can't remove the thread because then that will end her up forgetting everything in the course maybe her mother gets her married to Liam, she already liked him a lot.
But no matter what comes she will not go back to Liam, she had feelings for Liam but now they seemed to be buried deep inside...
On the other hand, Liam had decided to visit Scarlett.
He took a flight to the country where Scarlett lived.
He was back in the village where his soulmate was.
*Knock Knock*, someone knocked on the door of an old hut.
An old woman opened the door only to be met by a handsome bachelor, who was none other than Liam.
"Omigawd, Liam child you are here...Come come", she quickly asks him to settle in the house.
Liam bowed to the woman and then settled comfortably.
"You wait I will bring some water for you", she ran to the kitchen to bring water.
Liam was waiting for the old woman when Scarlett entered the house. Their eyes met and they understood what the other's mission was just by that simple eye contact. Liam waved a *Hello* to her to which Scarlett passed a smile.
Scarlett noticed the red thread in his hand.
"Here have some water", the woman returned with a glass of water.
"Oh my daughter look Liam is here, you may give company to him", she happily said and left.
Liam eyed Scarlett and then marched towards her. He stood in front of her towering Scarlett's tiny figure under his hulky one.
"I am here to take you back", Liam whispered.
Scarlett shook her head in a no.
She thought something and then gestured with her hands.
*I request you to plz go back, Liam. I am not good for you.*
She looked at Liam with soft eyes and pleaded.
Liam ignored her requests and said, "YOU ARE MINE"...
He smirked a devilish grin.....
Scarlett again shook her head in no and pleaded by joining her hands. She was trying to explain to him that it's wrong. She cannot destroy his life again. She can't be a load again on him. She was, again and again, thinking of being a weight on him and his life. She knew she had fallen for him but for just how long can she live on others' pieces.
IN THE EVENING
"Ma'am I want to talk something to you", Liam marched to Scarlett's mother.
"Yes Liam says", she said politely.
"I want to marry your daughter", he straightaway said to which the old woman's face lit up with happiness.
"Oh!! Lord yes yes I will give you my daughter", she happily agreed.
Scarlett was just standing there motionless and expressionless as if she knew this was coming, she tried to say no and explain them but couldn't.
Liam did a victory dance and he knew he has won the battle.
He will bring his Soulmate back.
"Scarlett, do you agree to this marriage?" her mother asked.
Scarlett wasn't able to speak anything.
"I will be extremely happy to see my daughter live a happy life with such a decent man", she exclaimed with delight.
Scarlett looked at her happy parents and wasn't able to say anything. She agreed to the marriage because she couldn't break her parents' hearts.
Soon the arrangements were made and they both got married in a church with very few people and colleagues.
Liam's parents created a scene on hearing that their only child is going to marry a village girl who will not bring any profits to their company but Liam opposed them and was adamant to marry Scarlett.
Liam brought Scarlett to his house where once she had lived and spent her most beautiful moments. The place where she found the love of her life, the place she called home, the place she had created bitter-sweet memories.
She was back with her soulmate who looked more than happy. His eyes sparkled and showed his victory.
Scarlett was sad because she had to leave her parents though not the real ones but still they loved her more than their own daughter, they took care of her and she never for once felt lonely.
But destiny had other plans for her. On one hand, Scarlett felt bad that she will get all the comforts of her life whereas her parents will have to adjust in less, sleep on the cold floor and eat limited food. She wanted to give them something in return.
Oh, how she could bring all the joys of the world for them.
But she cannot, nothing was in her hands...
Everything was planned and was running like a movie...
