" My first request was----------" Angel couldn't bring himself to say it.
( I can't! I can't tell her mother that the failed request was regarding friendship with her daughter).
" Forget it! I'll tell you next time". Angel smartly avoided the subject.
…
" I gotta go now! I'll come by tomorrow after school ends to see Angelique". He nearly escaped interrogation.
( I wonder what that first request was).
When Angel had almost reached the hospital's exit, he spotted Oscar sitting on a bench.
( Oscar! Why is he still here? Is he waiting here so he can see Angelique?)
Angel turns back and heads to Oscar to ask him the reason he was still at the hospital and hasn't yet gone home.
" Oscar! What are you still doing here at the hospital?" Angel inquired coldly.
" I haven't yet seen Angelique". He said in a low tone.
( Why do you want to see her when you're the one who caused her to be brought to the hospital?)
" You have nothing to do here! You'd better go home". He said coldly.
" Why are you being like that with me? I know I've made a mistake but it wasn't intentional". Oscar tried explaining his point to Angel.
" It wasn't intentional! It's never your fault, is it? You hurt her again and again but you always spill the same nonsense over and over again. What exactly are you after by doing this, Oscar Venus?" Angel stared at Oscar with indifference and coldness he had never seen him show before.

" You headed to her house to see her but how did it end? You treated her harshly, behaving like a beast towards her. You destroyed with your mere hands the last spark of friendship and respect you had between you with your idiotic actions". Angel's words were getting harsher by the intensity of his words.
….
" I know I was wrong in whatever I did. I thought she was faking her illness. It wasn't my intention to hurt her. I simply wanted to know the truth". He said, feeling guilty of his actions.
" Based on your actions, would you have believed her if she had told you the truth you seek when you don't even believe anything she says? Answer me honestly and don't lie to yourself!" Angel gazed at him to get answers to his questions.
Oscar couldn't respond to Angel's question because as hard as it seemed for him to admit, Angel was right in his assertions and he simply couldn't bring himself to admit it.
He stood up from the bench he was sitting at and silently walked out of the hospital, avoiding Angel's gaze in the process.
( You simply walked out like that without answering my question. I expected as much coming from you. You're unable to answer my question because in your heart, you know I'm right, isn't it?)
The following morning, Angelique's loving father rushed to the hospital to inquire about his daughter's wellbeing.
" How's Angelique doing? How did this happen? Why haven't you phoned me earlier?" Mr. Tsukishima was so panicked when he was informed of his daughter being in the hospital that it left a great impact on him.
" Calm down, love! Our daughter's fine. She's resting in the room, so don't shout!" She calmed him down with ease.
" I want to see her". His eyes were sparkling with concerns.
" You may go ahead and see her but I have to inform you that she hasn't yet awoken". She warned him before he entered the hospital room.
Mr. Tsukishima heads towards the room where his daughter was resting. He entered the hospital chamber silently without uttering a single sound.
Upon reaching her bedside, he gently touched her forehead to check her temperature.
( She still has a slight fever).
He noticed her forehead still slightly burning as he touched her forehead. Out of concern, he begins to wonder what could have happened to lead her daughter to the hospital. He exited her hospital chamber a few minutes later.
" I want to know the truth. What exactly happened and you better not lie to me". Mr. Tsukishima demanded his wife in a thoughtful tone.

At the same time, at school, Mr. Hiwatari arrived in the classroom to give his lecture. The students greeted him joyfully and he returned the gesture to them.
As he was making the roll call, he noticed Angelique's absence from the classroom.
" Does anyone know of Angelique's whereabouts?" The professor inquired from the students.
Angel raised his hand to answer the professor's question.
" Angelique's sick. She has been admitted to the hospital".
The students were indifferent to the news to some extent.
Meanwhile, back at the hospital, Mr. Tsukishima was still waiting for an explanation from his wife.
" Angelique took a day off from school as she didn't feel like going to school. In the middle of the day, I noticed something was off with her, so I thought of checking her temperature. Her temperature was extremely high".

Mrs. Tsukishima narrated the rest of the events to her husband. She didn't conceal any information from him.
" My daughter has been admitted to the hospital because of him!" Mr. Tsukishima was beyond angry at Oscar.

" You mentioned in your narration that one of her classmates accompanied you to the hospital. Who was he?" He inquired inquisitively.
…
" It was the handsome young man who assisted her last time. He's named Angel Mukaido". She answered her husband's question.
" Go home to have some rest! I'll stay with our daughter in the meantime". He said, glancing at his wife with love.
" What about your work? Don't you need to go?" She asked with concern.
" I took a day off after you informed me of our daughter's state. I won't need to go today". He replied to his wife's question.
" Take care of her! I'll be back in the evening". Mrs. Tsukishima left the hospital.
Back at school, Mr. Hiwatari was ready to communicate to his students the name of their partners for the project.
The English Professor handed to the students a piece of paper with the names of their work partners written on it. As Angelique was absent from school, her piece of paper was handed to Angel Mukaido.
" You'll have at the very least three weeks to complete this project. Good luck to all of you!" The English professor gave his last directive before the bell rang.
After school has officially ended, Oscar left the school in a jiffy.
" Where are you going, Oscar?" Angel asked from behind him.
" I'm going to the hospital and you better not try to stop me". Oscar said as a warning.
" I had no intention to".
" I'm going, then!" Oscar kept walking but had to stop again.
" Before you go, I'd like to ask you something".

" What do you want, Mukaido?" He inquired inquisitively.
" In what quality are you going to the hospital to see Angelique? Are you going there as a friend or as an enemy?"
