Oscar Venus was heading to the hospital to see Angelique who has been hospitalized. Angel Mukaido stopped him in his tracks, asking him in what quality he was going there.
" What does that have to do with you? Why should I answer you?" Oscar was adamant to answer the question asked to him.
" Why, you ask? After everything you've done to Angelique, do you think I'll let you hurt her further. Who do you take me for?" Angel asked coldly.
" I'm neither going there as a friend or as an enemy. I'm going there to inquire about my ex childhood friend's health. Is that a satisfying answer for you?" He answered the question hypothetically.
…
…
( Stopping him will be in vain. Even if I were to stop him, he would go to the hospital behind my back).
" You may go, Oscar! You're already late, aren't you?" Angel beamed joyfully as he said those words to Oscar.
" I'll be off, then!" Oscar kept walking towards the exit.
( Stopping him will be useless. He won't have the chance to hurt her further. I may have been unable to stop him from going to the hospital but I know someone else who might. Those people will certainly stop him themselves).
At the hospital, Mrs. Tsukishima came back with a change of clothes for her daughter.
" I'm back! How's Angelique? Has she regained consciousness?" She asked her husband.
" Not yet, unfortunately! The doctor said it was a natural phenomenon. According to him, she should be regaining consciousness in a few hours".
" He told me the same thing, so why is she still unconscious?"
" She went through a lot. I'm sure she'll wake up in the next few hours". He comforted his wife to the best of his abilities.
…
" Maybe, you should go back home. I'll call you right away when she wakes up".
" No! I won't go anywhere. You won't get me by the same trick again. I think you should be the one going home instead. You've gotta go to work early tomorrow". She states her point to her husband.
Her response was definite. She wouldn't change her mind, so the matter hasn't been pushed any further.
" I won't stop you as this is your wish, but you should nourish yourself first if you want to tend to her, don't you think?" He said lovingly.
" I've already eaten". She retorted.
" You've eaten, huh! You may fool anyone else but not me. I know you so well. After all, I'm your husband. I know you haven't had anything since yesterday". He stared at her with a piercing gaze.
Mrs. Tsukishima was lost for words. She didn't know how to refute her husband.
" As much as you know me, I know you quite well too. I know you haven't had anything either". She refuted in return.
…
" As both of us haven't had anything since yesterday, why don't you buy us something to consume. I'll stay with our daughter in the meantime". He said lovingly to his wife.
" Okay, fine! I'll go find us something to eat". Mrs. Tsukishima left the hospital to buy food.
Back at school, Angel was about to leave when he got interpellated by two girls.
" Wait up Angel-Kun!"
" Alicia! Alexia! Do you girls need something?" He asked the two girls.
" You're heading to the hospital, right?" Alexia asked Angel.
" Yes!"
" Do you mind if we accompany you?" Alexia inquired inquisitively.
" No, I don't mind". He answered.
" Thank you! Let's go, Alicia!"
Alicia and Alexia followed Angel to the hospital to visit Angelique.
Mr. Tsukishima heads back inside the hospital room. He sits by his daughter's bedside. He watches her in the hope she'll wake up. Just then, he felt his daughter's hand slightly move and got emotional.
Slowly, Angelique opened her eyes, and the first thing she saw was her caring father beside her. She looked around her, disoriented.
" Father! What happened? Why am I in the hospital?" She asked her father, disoriented.
The father didn't know what explanation to give his daughter. He said nonetheless: " Don't you remember anything at all?"
The daughter said in retortion: " Remember? What am I supposed to remember? Did something major happen that I've forgotten?"
The father narrated to his daughter the events which led her to the hospital. The daughter seemed to suddenly remember the unpleasant incident that took place less than twenty-four hours ago.
" I remember what happened now". The daughter's tone suddenly turned sour.
" What happened between you and that boy?" The father asked his daughter inquisitively.
" Well,------------------"
" You've finally regained consciousness. Your parents were so worried about you". The doctor cut their conversation short.
…
" Can you step out for a bit so I can examine her?" The doctor asked the father.
" Sure! I'll wait outside". The father steps out of the hospital room.
The doctor examined the daughter to check whether she was feeling any pain anywhere or not. Everything looked perfectly normal.
" Are you feeling pain anywhere?" The doctor asked nonetheless although the results looked okay.
" No! I'm not feeling any pain, doctor". She responded.
Meanwhile, Oscar arrived at the hospital. As he was searching for her room, he came across a man who had his back turned and thought of asking him for help.
" Excuse me!"
The man turned and Oscar was petrified as the man who seeks help turned out to be.
" You? What are you doing here?" The father asked with an angered look.
" Mr. Tsukishima! Long time no see!" His voice was trembling the whole way.
" You didn't answer my question. What are you here for?" The father asked once more.
" … Well, I'm here to see Angelique". He answered the question reluctantly.
…
The father's tone got much more angered at the sounds of those words. He said in return: " What did you say? Did you come here to see my daughter or to hurt her even more?"
" Mr. Tsukishima, you've got the wrong idea about things. I didn't mean what happened at your house at all. You've gotta believe me". He said all earnestly.
" You didn't mean it! By what miracle did my daughter end up in the hospital?"
…
" You've hurt my daughter enough as it is. Please leave before I lose my temper!"
The father asked Oscar to leave the hospital but he was reluctant to do what had been asked of him.
" Please, Sir! Let me see, Angelique! I promise to leave this hospital and never set foot here again after that". He pleaded with the father to let him see his daughter.
…
" Why are you here, Oscar? What do you want from my daughter this time? After everything you've done, what are you after?"
…
" Mr. Tsukishima, I know I've done something wrong but I'm not completely at fault, Sir. Your daughter has caused me a lot of grief". He retorted.
" She caused you grief! What a joke? My daughter has never hurt anyone or never will. The impression you have of her and which you've had in the past are completely erroneous".
