Even though it was early spring, extreme weather covered most of the area in Neo Tetarto. Thunderstorm, hurricane, drought and flood; natural disasters were natural occurrences in this primal world.
Yet the weather was nice in the barrier surrounding the Sky Pillar. Light rain and sunny sky; truly a fitting spring weather.
It was also an ideal weather for most creature to breed, especially the magicless creature.
The inhabitants of Ble Planan were mostly magicless creatures. Although Ble Planan was neighbouring planet to Neo Tetarto, it did not have high concentration of magical energy as Neo Tetarto. So, most of its inhabitants did not evolved into magical creature.
As the barrier around the Sky Pillar did not bar the entrance of magicless creatures, many of them managed to enter the barrier while others end up dying by the elements of the world or devoured by the ancient primordial beasts.
Now, of original inhabitants of Ble Planan, only magical creatures and selected few of magicless creatures strived to survive the outside world.
While magical creatures struggled to survive and some species of magicless creatures were on the brink of extinction in the outside world, the magicless creatures inside the barrier were flourishing. Their dwindling numbers had increased to a positive level.
The barrier had protected them from the heavy elements of nature and the threat of ancient primordial beasts. While the resources inside the barrier were available for the picking.
With those favourable conditions, even if there were only a pair of their species that managed to enter the barrier, their numbers would multiple and saved from the threat of extinction.
As usual, Ebraham collected the data and recorded it in the archive. And he was especially happy when he saw the increasing trend of magicless creature's number growth.
Now that the number of magicless creatures had increased, he could start the next phase of civilization development plan.
From the history, it was agreed that there were three major stages of civilization, which were: resource gathering stage, agricultural stage, and industrial stage.
With his knowledge and capabilities, Ebraham had started the Stable Agriculture Program which belonged to the second stage of civilization, the agricultural stage, while ignoring the practice of hunting or food gathering which belonged to the first stage of civilization, the resource gathering stage.
In other word, Ebraham had directly skipped the first stage of civilization and advanced to the second stage of civilization.
In the actuality, Ebraham could directly develop the third stage of civilization, the industrial stage if he wanted to, but he refrained from doing so.
The reason Ebraham had started the civilization at the agricultural stage was to boost the development of the civilization.
Even so, it was not that the resource gathering stage was no longer relevant now that the civilization had entered the agricultural stage. Hunting, scavenging and mining as examples of resource gathering were still practiced in the later stage of civilization.
It was just, Ebraham did not do so as there were no necessary resources he needed from the wild.
However, now that the young woman was awake, he needed to secure a stable source of protein to include it in her diet. Hunting animals was one of the ways to do so.
Still, with his capability, Ebraham could just hunt the ancient primordial beasts for stable protein source instead of waiting for the magicless creatures to increase in number before hunting them.
However, Ebraham still wait to hunt the magicless creatures and did not disturb the ancient primordial beasts.
The reason was to decrease human contact with the ancient primordial beasts, thus preventing the ancient primordial beasts from understanding the power of humanity or adapting with human fighting style.
Ebraham had planned to deal with the ancient primordial beasts in one swoop. And now was not the right time to do so.
While he was thinking about all of this, Ebraham caught a couple of wild chickens and rabbits, and released them in the indoor park. The ecology of the indoor park was suitable for breeding habitat if not better than the ecology in the wild.
By releasing the wild chickens and rabbits in the favourable environment, Ebraham planned on breeding these animals in a free-range style. After the animals had multiplied for several times, even the young woman could hunt them if she wanted to.
Ebraham then proceeded to the ward where the young woman and her babies stayed in. He arrived just after they had finished breakfast.
Seeing that there was positivity in the young woman's eyes, Ebraham knew that the young woman had organized her mind and was now ready to face adversity in this new world.
"Sir Ebraham. I haven't properly introduced myself to you. My name is Alicia, wife of Valerio. Please accept my sincere gratitude for saving me and my babies" Alicia said so while bowing her head.
Going with the flow of the conversation, Alicia objectively explained her situation and recounted the scene before she entered the spatial rift.
After listening to Alicia's explanation, Ebraham had a clear understanding of her situation, but at the same time, he was confused as Alicia's origin was not extraordinary as he thought.
Chances that she was lying was nonexistence and as an old veteran, Ebraham could easily discern lies in one's voice, which was also absence from Alicia's voice.
Nonetheless, Ebraham did not show it in his expression. There was a possibility that Alicia herself was unaware of her extraordinary origin.
Alicia's special ability which could accelerate the growth of foetus and babies when in contact with her magical energy was like no other special abilities that Ebraham had known.
It had to be highlighted that pregnancy and infancy were the two most vulnerable phase of human life. Shortening this phase would increase the survival rate of one's life.
Though it was only a statistical analysis in a form of data, the feat itself was already amazing.
As a Great Sage, Ebraham had a full access to the database of special abilities in Krudian Empire including the restricted database. He even has a wide range of knowledge which he learnt from other Sages.
Even so, Ebraham never heard of this type of special ability.
Moreover, this was only the effect that was unintentionally revealed while Alicia was unconscious. The special ability was yet to be fully tested. Even the effect of its passive state was already this amazing, what's more if the special ability was fully activated.
This was just beyond human level.
'Are every otherworldly people like this?' Ebraham could only think so as he did not have enough data to came up with a reasonable conclusion.
While Ebraham curiosity was unsated, he still needs to know Alicia's next action plan.
"You truly had suffered. Don't be sad. You are welcome to stay here as long as you like. Though it was not much, I could guarantee that there was no other place safer than this place" Ebraham said to Alicia while probing about her plan.
Albeit it was his intention to respect any of Alicia's decision, he would surely be troubled if she planned not to bother him anymore and start living on her own.
After all, this world was a virgin primal world. A world without anything related to human. If a normal human wanted to survive in this world, that person needs to start everything from scratch. Even after excluding the possibility of unknown diseases, the elements of nature alone had decreased the surviving rate in this world to an abysmally low percent.
Although Ebraham had expressed his welcoming gesture in a form of a celebratory feast, he needed to clearly state his intention to welcome her on board as to prevent misunderstanding.
Nevertheless, Ebraham had worried for nothing.
Alicia had never had that kind of intention as she replied…
"Then, I'll have to shamelessly accept your kind offer. Sir Ebraham, please treat me well" while making a full 90 degree bow as per her culture when showing respect.
Ebraham did not have the same bowing culture, but he did discern some degree of respect and gratitude in her action, so he did not interrupt her.
Since Alicia had a pleasant character, Ebraham talked some more with her. Of course, the topic was about the twins since she was familiar and very interested with the topic.
While they were actively discussing about the twins, Alicia made a subtle melancholic smile.
As someone who was very observant, Ebraham obviously noticed the sadness behind that smile.
"It seems like you are concerned of something. Feel free to speak your mind. I'm all ears" Ebraham encouraged her to speak up.
"No, it was nothing" Alicia said while slightly waving her hands.
"It's just that, I feel, it's quite a loss for not knowing how the twins looks like when they were born" she continued with a forced smile.
"Hmm. So, how about this?" Ebraham could relate some of her feeling, so he conjured the holographic sphere and showed her the scene when the twins were newly born.
Previously, when he showed the visual record to Alicia, he had overlooked that the first sight of baby was a memorial moment for a mother, so the playback was done on fast forward.
Thus, Alicia did not manage to cherish the moment at all.
Now that he had chance to redeemed himself, Ebraham gladly showed the scene in slow-motion and 3D.
