Alexis and Vorian buckled themselves up in their respective seats with very heavy hearts. Alexis was really worried about leaving Eldred and she was constantly trying to catch a glimpse of Eldred from the windowpane.
Seeing her reluctance, Vorian tried to console her, "Alexis, Eldred is waiting for you in the future. Don't worry, you have already set him on his path. We should leave before we get stuck here. We cannot afford to ask Mr. Zuro again to prepare another energy core for us."
Alexis glanced at Vorian and took a deep breath in. "You are right, my father will be waiting for me in the future. Let's go then."
"SAM, start the engine," Alexis ordered her trusty AI.
The same robotic voice accepted the command, "Starting the engine. Please enter the course for your journey."
"Set the course for Noruha, Celine," Alexis ordered again.
