March 15th.
Ronan POV.
At exactly 08:00 PM, Ronan drove his car back to his hotel. Today's shooting has ended. It was quite a tough day for Ronan because he had just been rejected by Selena. A girl who isn't even anything compared to Ronan's other exes. But therein lies the challenge. Either way, Ronan had to get Selena to kneel to him. And then, when the girl had gotten caught up in Ronan's charm, he would just leave Selena.
Before getting to that stage, Ronan must find out what caused Selena to be so cold when they sat together earlier. No way, that girl has a sexual orientation disorder?
Could it be that Selena already has a boyfriend?
Ah, what the hell. Ronan would have been able to snatch Selena from any man she was currently close to.
Instead of real love, Ronan is actually more curious about Selena. Because she is the only girl who doesn't respond well when Ronan invites her to meet him.
Being too focused on thinking about Selena, Ronan didn't pay attention to the road ahead. As a result, he almost ran into someone who somehow suddenly appeared in front of his car.
The screeching of Ronan's car tires filled his ears until he felt restless.
Ronan stared from side to side, looking for the object he had just seen. However, there wasn't anything even around Ronan. The street was deserted. True Avenue Road is indeed an alternative road that motorists rarely pass. This is none other than due to the lack of lighting around the road. Moreover, there are no buildings around there. The closest house you can find is about 1000 feet from where Ronan is now. Far. Very far.
So, who did Ronan just see passing in front of his car? Is Ronan just hallucinating? Or maybe there's something around there ...
The hair on Ronan's neck lit up at once. He felt the nape of his neck which suddenly felt cold.
Without thinking, people get ready to step on the gas again. He should have obeyed Billy earlier, never to cross this road again. Too many mystical stories to be heard.
As a forward-thinking person, Ronan never believed in any other life besides the life he was currently living. In real life. But it must be faced with this kind of situation, anyway ... Ronan thinks again.
Could it be, ghosts do exist.
Before he had time to step on the gas pedal, Ronan's foot suddenly knocked someone from outside the window on his left.
Ronan jumped over the seat of his car. Very shocked. If he had heart disease, his life would have been lost because of the pranksters out there.
Hold on, is he really human?
Half hesitating, Ronan glanced over to the spot where his windshield was knocked from outside. How surprised Ronan was when he saw an old woman standing there with a pale and stiff face.
Ronan didn't want to be sure if she was human or not. All Ronan wanted to do right now was step the gas as far as possible. To hell if it turns out that grandma is a human who needs help. Ronan was sure, if he was a good person, there would be other riders willing to offer him a ride. Of course, that person wasn't Ronan.
When he came to a busier crossroads did Ronan breathe a sigh of relief?
"Oh, shit! What kind of experience was that? Why can I meet all the grandmothers?" said Ronan in monologue. He chose to pull over for a moment in front of a 24-hour convenience store. Perhaps, a glass or two of wine can calm a confused mind.
All the overthinking that is currently whacking Ronan, must be the act of his tired body asking to rest. Ronan realized, this month his life was filled with staying up late and making love until morning.
Ronan got out of the car, entered the convenience store, then sorted out the liquor that seemed suitable to warm his stomach.
When Ronan was confused about whether to choose a strawberry or orange-flavored drink, his ears heard an argument from the minimarket's second aisle.
"I seem to know this voice," muttered Ronan, thinking hard. Trying to remember when the voice had ever heard.
Ronan has made his choice on the orange-flavored drink, but the debate in hallway number two isn't over.
Hunted by curiosity, Ronan finally decided to check the situation in the hallway. Their voices are not too loud to disturb the peace of others. Perhaps, it was because Ronan was just too sensitive that he could even hear this not-so-loud voice.
"I caught you cheating on you, Sean!" Ronan froze.
No, he was not amazed by the girl's statement to his partner just now. But amazed at who made the statement.
"Selena ...," whispered Ronan in disbelief.
It seems that recently he thought of Selena, suddenly the girl has appeared in front of him again. And what's even more fantastic, Selena brings happy news to Ronan.
So, that ugly guy is cheating on you?
Haha! This is the perfect timing for Ronan to go deeper into Selena's life. He was sure, this time Selena would not dare to reject him.
"We broke up!"
The sentence Ronan had been waiting for came out of Selena's sexy lips. The next scene was read. Selena just walked away, leaving behind her ex-boyfriend who, if Ronan remembered correctly, was named Sean.
Selena ran away just like when she left Ronan in the park this afternoon.
Ronan chuckled in satisfaction. He considered what happened to Selena tonight to be related to the karma of what she did this afternoon.
As Sean pursued Selena, Ronan followed suit from behind. Not to forget he paid for the drink first at the cashier. Even though he was shaking, Ronan never lost focus.
Selena and Sean headed south. Incidentally, Ronan's apartment is in the same direction. So he decided to use a car while following them.
Ronan hurried into his car. From the rearview mirror, he could still see Selena's whereabouts. And yes, they are still chasing the sidewalk. Something that of course invites other people's curiosity.
Ronan's car wheels rolled slowly. He drove casually. Occasionally his right hand held the bottle of the drink he had just bought.
Amazing. Ronan's eyes have become fresher now.
Less than ten minutes, Ronan was forced to stop the car. Because Selena is no longer chasing Sean. The girl turned into a white building that he believed to be her residence.
From the direction of the courtyard, Sean was screaming for Selena's name. He asked his girl to stay behind and retracted his breakup at the minimarket earlier.
Ronan shook his head. What bad luck Sean had.
Supposedly, Ronan left right then and there. Isn't the drama between Selena and Sean over? However, somehow his heart asked him not to go yet. As if something big was about to happen.
Ronan moved his car to the darker side. Observing Selena's house like a stalker.
One hour, two hours, three hours, passed. Sean had given up on it, but Ronan was still waiting patiently.
Ronan's fingers tapped the dashboard of the car while not taking his eyes off the same object for even one second. Several times he yawned feeling sleepiness began to attack.
A few moments later, finally, Ronan's wait was muted. He could clearly see how Selena's door opened from the inside.
Ronan's heart immediately thundered fast when he found Selena herself who had come out of the house. And he's not alone. Selena is out with ... a girl. Looks like she is her friend.
Wow, interesting. Will there be a chance for a threesome?
Ronan's wild thoughts began to wander.
