"What?" Stella asked Ron.
"What?" He replied with the sake question but in a calm tone.
"Stop looking at me like that." she chuckles.
"Why, I'm..I'm loving it." Ron said.
"But you are making me shy for crying out loud." she looked the other way from Ron.
The wedding ceremony went as planned and all of them loved it. When the bride and groom danced she wanted to dance with Zach.
But when father and daughter shared the dance.. she couldn't bear the pain to see it. She ignored that dance like a rude lady who's jealous of the bride. Well to be honest, she is jealous, a teensy bit. Thinking that she won't be able to share a dance with her father when she gets married.
"Why should I be jealous of Rosalie? Dad died almost cause of m..me."
Guilt took over her whole mind and body.
"I know what you're thinking. You must miss your dad, don't you?" Ron asked while patting her on the shoulders.
"Mmhmm." was Stella's short reply.
"Let's go somewhere else, shall we?" Ron asked trying to cheer her up.
"Where?" Stella asked.
"Come on I'll show you, it's near, come on Stella." Ron said while already heading to that place.
Stella hurried up from the chair and ran behind him, "Wait for me!"
After running for 3 to 5 minutes Stella reached Ron's back and breathed heavily.
"It's just a blank field, really...Ron?" Stella said while breathing heavily.
Ron turned around and held her hand, "Come on, sit in the car."
Both of them sat in the golf car while Ron drove her through the bushes.
"Believe me, it's such a great place, you won't regret coming with me." Ron smiled and concentrated on the way.
"Close your eyes Stella." he said.
"No, why?" she asked.
"Please, don't you trust me? I just want you to see it all of a sudden and get surprised." Ron explained why.
"Okay." saying that she closed her eyes. Even though she was really eager to see, still she kept her eyes closed until Ron told him to open them.
"Now open them."
Stella opened and saw Ron looking back, at her.
"Oh God, I'm so surprised, wow!" she joked.
"To your right Stella." he said.
Stella looked at her right and slowly got out of the car. Apparently shocked but amazed. "What on earth!?" Stella said. "Heaven?"
Some mountains filled with green trees and grasses. In the middle of those 4 giant mountains, lays down the most beautiful fountain Stella has ever ever... seen in her life. It's lengthy too. You can see a river if you bend down a little on the edge of where Stella and Ron was standing. The sweet scent of this place is making Stella's intoxicated to stay here forever. There are so many butterflies flying here and there but too far for her to catch. So colorful ones that Stella is trying so hard not to jump and die for catching at least one, the blue and black one, so gorgeous!!! So many birds are chirping and going home. The sun was setting by. The sky turned golden in a few minutes.
[What a view man] Stella thought. She was busy clicking photos and making videos.
"I come here whenever I feel lonely or guilty. It always refreshes my mood and everything. So.. thought of helping you too." Ron said.
And Stella just kept looking at him.
"What? Did it help?" Ron asked.
"Oh yeah, yeah. A lot. Thank you so so much Ron. I love the nature a lot so you can show me any beautiful places you know." she said.
"I love you...Stella." he said while holding both her cheeks with both his hands. Stella shivered the way he made her feel.
"I really do." Ron said while leaving her as he noticed she really wasn't that comfortable with touching her.
"Do you even like me Stella?" Ron asked.
"Why don't you love me back? Is it with the face? Or the way I behave?" he asked adding guilt to his own emotions.
"No Ron, you're face and behavior is alright. I like this reddish birthmark of yours. But... " she didn't say anything further as it could hurt him really bad.
"But?" Ron asked.
"Nothing." Stella ignored it.
"But what? Stella?" Ron asked again.
"I said its nothing." she replied the same. "Yeah you said that but you lied... Tell me what is it.... " This time Ron insisted.
"Ughh, fine, here's the truth I miss Zach, want him back and what else... I love him." Stella said while looking the at her right.
"Stella it's been almost a week he broke up with you... and you miss him, love him!? When I am already eagerly awaiting for you!?" Ron got a little furious.
"I mean for Pete's sake! Here you are with the man who loves you and you're drowning for a man who do even care if you drown?" Ron scoffed.
"It's not true, I know he still cares. He can't just stop loving me like.. like that." Stella becomes emotional again.
"He can because he never loved you truly." Ron said lighting a cigarette.
"Yes! He loved me! Very truly!" Stella raised her voice suddenly to defend Zach.
Things are just getting weirder, Ron thought. "Where is he then? Where's your true lover?" Ron literally mocked her and her feelings. Without saying anything word she started walking back, to home.
"Do you even know the way back home?" Ron asked shouting.
Then he drove the golf car to Stella.
"Come in, its getting dark Stella." Ron said. Stella slowly sat inside though she didn't want to but she had no other choice.
"I'm sorry Stella. I shouldn't have." Ron apologized and Stella just nodded.
"Who wants some ice-cream?" Ron stopped at a ice-cream parlour. Just to cheer Stella up. "Butterscotch right?" he asked Stella.
She nodded with a smile this time which brought more happiness to Ron. He bought one butterscotch for Stella and a chocolate one for himself as its his all time favorite. After going sometime more way they got down from the car.
"We'll need to walk from here. Come on, I know you enjoy walking."
They walked till her home.
Most of the time they spent walking was silent. Either of them barely spoke. But both of them were feeling good. Stella was walking to the stairs and Ron called her name, "Stella?" She turned around and gave her a look as in asking 'what?'.
"Won't you ever love me back?" he asked putting his hands inside the pockets.
Stella just smiled and kept walking the stairs. "Ron?" Stella called him now.
"Yes?" he said.
"Goodnight." Stella opened the door and waved a last goodbye before shutting it.
"No wonder why I love her so much? She's so cute. Body and soul both are cute." saying these all to himself, he turned around to start walking to his home.
Until he saw a shadow type thing in front of him, standing like he will kill him, right now.
