Chapter 5 - One day in the past- II

**********5 years Ago**********

"Hisssss"

Two-headed monster's hiss echoed inside the hall as the sword sliced through its left eye. But, before it recovers from the pain of his front head and attacks the swordsman, it received another blow on his tail head. Finally, the serpent seemed to go insane from both pain and rage.

"Two-Headed Raksa" started to attack in every direction without a purpose. Xie Ra knew it was a perfect time for the final blow.

He formed *sword seal using his right index and middle fingers and raised it to his mouth. Then, he started to condense qi into one point. He then slid those fingers through his spiritual sword "QiJi" and empowered it with the spiritual-qi he gathered.

He jumped high enough to escape from the visual field of the enraged serpent. QiJi's pointed end targeted Monster's heart, threatening to pierce it as the final strike. As soon as Xie Ra found the opportunity, he struck his deadly blow which was empowered by thousand folds from the Raging sword-Qi of Qiji.

Even two-headed Raksa, the monster serpent with two heads on its front and tail ends, didn't have any chance against the fatal blow of the **high realm sword cultivator. It died and fell on the floor with a loud 'thud.'

Meanwhile, the attacker landed gracefully, few feet away from the body of the dead serpent. He knew He could still collect its *monster soul as he didn't strike its ***spiritual core.

He walked towards the dead body, lifted his right two fingers he used before up to his mouth again, and chanted something. Then he touched the monster's temple on its front head.

A small pinkish-brown beam of light emerged from where Xie Ra touched it and rapidly grew into a huge glow that surrounded the entire hallway they fought, a few moments ago.

If any mortal witnessed the sight. he would only see blinding, slightly pinkish-brown light on the hallway before he goes into temporary blindness. It was almost true for high realm cultivators, except for the temporary blindness part.

Therefore, Xie Ra hadn't any trouble in vision after the blaze disappeared. He earned one **early-nascent level monster soul that resembled an oval-shaped tiger's eye stone in a pinkish-brown color. It rapidly cooled down so, Xie Ra managed to put it on his spatial ring before, stepping out from the gloomy hallway.
