The time drew nearer to global curfew at six and the empty train station Tess scanned testified to it. She knew not even the homeless would dare tarry around that danger zone. Anything moving there would most likely be one of two monsters she had to help kill. Well, unless the MS offs decided to show their faces.
She froze her vision and held her breath. There it was, one of the two beasts they had to take down. Its back was in sight since it was turned to a metal gate separating it from the train tracks. Its tar-black skin would blend in with the grim reaper's cloak, and the veins were the creases from years un-ironed. It had a beefy build, and she could tell it was taller than her. Anything around a seven by four was a reasonable rank.
Tess allowed her vision to come back to her. "I found it and I think it's a seven by four rank."
"No," Zack gasped.
"I could hug that thing two times," Zino said.
