Allan's eyes got wide as he looked around to see no signs of the girl with white hair. "Where did Tess go? She was supposed to be waiting right here."
The four MS officials passed him to see the gadget lying on the ground in the passageway.
Zino activated her holo-map to see Tess's location before looking back down. "Yep, this is Tess's telecom but there's no Tess."
Allan moved closer to see what grabbed the MS officials' attention. The sword that almost slit his neck forced him to not take another step closer. His shaking eyes stared into the dark red ones of the MS official he didn't get to pass.
"Pathetic scum, what did you do to her!" Lanse fumed.
Allan's eyes darted to the edge of the giant sword that merely touched his crest, but he felt the scrape it made on his neck. "I-I didn't do anything to her," he stuttered as he leaned away from the sword and almost tripped.
